Features require talent to make, large budgets, and it's mistakenly seen as lacking hardcore sex. It's beautiful people having beautiful sex. It doesn't always have to tell a story, either. I just watched Ninn's Catherine, and it was the hottest porn I've seen in a long, long time. Gorgeous sets, delicious European women, and outstanding production values highlighted the terrific sex.

Gonzo is typically poorly shot, using low budgets, and marketed to the lowest common denominator. It's based on shock value rather than production value. My favorite Gonzos have been the Sodomomania series, Anabolic's Gang Bang Girls, and I enjoy doing Gonzo because it's fun. But I watch mostly features, and it's what my company will be concentrating on in 2007 (unless I call it quits and go to culinary school).

Feature refers to a title that has one script running throughout the entire film. All the scenes relate to each other to create a whole story. You could easily have a gonzo feature. This would be a movie with a uniting story or premise that continues through all the sex scenes and dialog scenes, yet the performers interact directly with the camera/viewer. I think some of the Shane's World stuff fits this classification.
