Wow I miss New York. Everyone here in Anchorage is ugly and it seems like everything is moving in slow motion. I get this same feeling every time I come back from Vegas too.

Besides the energy and the great restaurants, I even miss the food delivery from Grub Hub. We had one night where we just stayed in and watched movies and the Italian food (Da Noi restaurant) I had delivered showed up in 45 minutes and was better than any Italian restaurant in Anchorage. Perfectly cooked rack of lamb, great calamari, real italian sourdough bread, etc. If I lived in Manhattan I might never cook another meal again. Why bother?

And I really miss baseball already. We'll get 'em next year!
