I have to be in the right mood for the atmospheric doom stuff but I really like that Asphyx cut. There was a period in time in the late 80's and early 90's I binged on speed metal and death metal. I had taped The best of Metal Blade Vol. 1,2 and 3 on cassette and blasted it in the car on a regular basis. I was already familiar with lot of speed metal and these best ofs got me interested in other bands. Whitechapel, Lizzy Borden, Sodom and Bitch to name a few. Trouble remains one of my favorites for just downright crushing metal. Even more so than Metallica.

I have the Level U headphones, but the fuckin ear pieces suck. Unless I have the gel w/ the wing, they constantly fall out of my ears. Even when they stay in, they don't plug in yer ear canal, so they don't block out noise in my shop or on my tractor.
The Level U Pro seem to have the normal plug type earphones, so I am trying them, since I like the battery life and range of the ones I have.

Ink cartridge for my HP printer, some Hot Wheels [been collecting a few], Star Trek fridge magnets, went to a record show in Knoxville Sat. Some of those guys really like their records. Prices were fucking outrageous and they were getting little business. I wound up at Lost and Found and bought more there. A couple of holsters [leather] One for a nickel plated .45 Colt SA Uberti and one for a Colt 32-20 [such a cool caliber] Oh yeah, my buddy at the local comic shop sold me some comics [Mostly Silver Age] worth over 600 bucks for 200 hundred dollars. It's great to have a friend when you are a collector.

Exchanged some paper money for dollar coins and two dollar bills at the bank. Put a Ruger LCR .22cal revolver on layaway and bought some ammo [45 colt and 32-20 cowboy] and bought an old Raven .25 semi auto for collecting purposes. One box of shells is all I'll keep for my .25 collection. Damned sure don't expect to carry them. 6 pack of Bud in the can. Haven't had any for a while.

Oddly I they give $2 bills in change at the Harley Davidson store in Cozamel Mexico.
I used to get SBA dollar coins in change from the machine in the Port Authority years back. I LOVED giving them to young girls clerks who had never seen one, like in Madison, WI, and demanding they take my legal tender! That was the only thing I could force them to do for me. At least that I'll admit to.

My local car washes spit out SBAs from the dollar changers. The first three bucks you put in spit out tokens to meet their minimum and then it spits out SBAs that feed the coin-op device. That's the only ones I ever see.

I like the SBAs as well but Sacagawea better. Sack a what? I've been hanging on to bi-centennial quarters [and half dollars] when I find them. Also coins from 2001. And for a lark I keep any Cumberland Gap National Historical Park quarters I find. Thought it might be neat to hand out to those in the area one day. I recently got several WWII Nazi coins and several Civil War era coins. The 3 cent nickel fascinates me for some reason.

When they were trying to get the presidential dollar coins into circulation, they offered free shipping on them. People were buying 1000s of dollars at a clip, paying for them w/ credit cards, then depositing them in the bank and paying off the credit card bill, to rack up airline miles.

I bought this bluetooth speaker from Sam's Club, $50. Waterproof and fully submersible. 20watts, 10hr battery life. Not enough to power a party, but fine for next to a fire in the backyard, and I don't have to worry about it getting rained on. Also, it is rubberized, so I don't have to worry about it getting knocked around.
In addition, I bought a 2pk of 30oz Yeti knock-off tumblers, $19.98.
And from Amazon, I got Season 1 of the Muppet Show on DVD. Was sitting around a fire w/ my son the other night, trying to think of a song to play that he would like, so I searched the Muppet Show intro on YouTube. He was amazed seeing it, and it dawned on my that he's seen a few of the movies, but never the variety show. He watched a few more clips and I ordered the dvds the next day. Surprisingly enough, it was more expensive to buy the 3 seasons in a bundle than each one separate, so I just grabbed Season 1 for $9.98 to test him out on em.
