Last weekend was the Xbiz awards this weekend the AVNs. It's amusing that nobody here even cared enough to mention it.
I never check those sites and the emails I get from them go right to spam or junk folders. I happened to notice the happenings via a few pornhoes IG and snapchat antics. It's still just who cares about the awards check out that bitches outfit on the red carpet and nowadays twerking with a selfie stick at the after parties or for convention cameras.

I only cared about the AVN the year I went to them with a friend. Back then, you got to sit at the same tables as the porn stars and now they do stadium seating for the fans with the porn stars down on the main floor, which makes the whole thing boring as far as attending. I'm still not sure if we were supposed to walk the red carpet or not, but that turned out to be fun. We told the fans we were talking to along the way that my friend was a porn star and I was an agent.

And lucite. Can't forget the lucite.

It's not even AVN's call who wins anymore (cue Emily Evermore and Mike Ramone). Fishbein sold the award show to a promoter years ago. AVN doesn't even own it's own content. What a bunch of sorry shitcunts.

I remember that. Uncle Jeffy gave Burg and I front row tickets for the thing. Which turned out to be rather boring. I was at a table with Hillary Scott who was twitching like a methhead. Britney Skye was so wasted she couldn't even read the teleprompter. The only redeeming thin was sitting next to Jim Norton and listening to him hilariously trash every whore who walked up there.

I used to watch the AVN awards, or at least watch them while playing video games or solving a crossword puzzle, but I don't think Showtime has broadcast the show since 2014...

The closest I ever got to AVN was DF Wallace's essay, which was a fine read.
