As for real NFL talk, Cardinals are my pick for the Lombardi Trophy. Giants and Jags are my sleeper pix to make the playoffs.

I think my Jets will be 8-8 or 9-7 w/ that tough schedule this season. Always going to be a rough year when the AFC North is on the schedule, and they don't get any Brady-less Pats games. 6 of their first 9 games are on the road, including @KC, @Pitt, & @AZ. Also have Bengals, Seahawks and Ravens in that stretch.

Be lucky to come out of the first 9 games w/ 3 wins. After that they got 2 games against the Pats, and a bunch of cream puffs, Rams, 49ers, Colts.

Looks like a decent team. This will be the first year I'm not doing any FF team, since Roger Pipe screwed up my team over the summer.

There's just something "meh" about the upcoming season. I know the Cardinals are a popular pick to win the whole thing, but they always disappoint. The last time they won it, my father was stationed in Osaka as part of the Japan Occupation Force.

I'm thinking Seattle will be a tough team again. And when M. Thomas Bundchen finally laces them up in week 5, look out. He's gonna be pissed off. Like John Wayne pissed off after they thaw him out.

Looks like the Royals have rubbed off on the Chiefs. Winning a game that after 90% of the game was played you thought they had no way of winning. First half was so bad I turned off the TV. Hell in the first half Kansas City looked like a worse team than Cleveland. Went back a couple of hours later and they were in OT.

I would think that unless the Chargers make major improvements in the next few weeks they will have to make a coaching change in the bye week. Fans will not get behind a coach that develops a reputation of playing not to lose when they have the lead instead of playing to win.

No. Bledsoe didn't have 4 rings. Garoppolo is under contract for another year. Belicheat will field offers for him this offseason, then probably wait and see how Brady performs in 2017 at 40yrs old, unless someone blows him out of the water w/ a deal. Everyone remembers Cassel's 11-5 season w/ the Pats, and the fact that he hasn't been a starter since, so I doubt they will get a huge offer for Jimmy G.

I had to look it up to be sure. Cleveland has a bunch of picks high in this draft. Eagles' #1, Titans' #2 + their own puts em at 4 picks in probably the first 40. They give the Eagles a 4 or 5, but they get the Pats 5th. If only there was a person in their front office who knew anything about football.

Since I saw the schedule, I figured it for a loss, cause you guys have a great home field advatage, but the Jets are playing much better than I figured, so now I'm quite perplexed. Only thing really making me feel safe is that Jets are susceptible to the deep ball, but Smith aint got a deep arm.

I haven't spent much time looking at this one, but I expect points, lots.

I expect our cornerbacks to get burned, a lot. I also expect Ryan Fitzpatrick to be the every year before last year version of Ryan Fitzpatrick so I also expect interceptions. Chiefs pass offense seemed really improved in pre-season and 2nd half of the Chargers game. Took a step backwards last week. I figure the Jets will be good for around 24 points or so. Good Chiefs offense shows up they will put up at least 28. Bad Chiefs offense that moves ball but stalls around the red zone will only be good for around 16. I have no idea which one will show up.

Goal of the Chiefs for the first half of the season is to survive the first half of the season by playing .500 ball until Justin Houston gets back in November then go on tear with a schedule that is back loaded with home games against relative cream puffs by NFL standards. Of course another way of looking at the schedule is that it is front loaded with road games against good teams (Carolina and Pittsburgh for example).

My fantasy football season was the drizzling shits. My top 5 picks all under performed, and i still had opportunities that didnt come to fruition. A tie, a 1pt loss, and atleast 3 times i had the 2nd or 3rd highest points in the league but lost to the team w/the most pts. My record was 2-10-1 this year, after being 10-3 last year. Hopefully i get tipped well for running the league.
