Nice day on the Kenai River today. Caught my limit of 3 sockeye salmon and also got to see a fucking seal swimming out in the middle of the river, 15+ miles in from the ocean. Both of these things are pretty unheard of for this time of year. I usually don't catch a sockeye/red salmon for at least another 2-3 weeks and seals don't usually come into the river until the fall. Cool day.

Crazy good fishing so far for it only being the 5th of July. Caught 2 fish in 5 min., cleaned them, had a drink and went back and caught my 3rd after another 5 min.

Had the procedure Monday and home on Tuesday. They found one blockage of 100% and another of 90%. I was growing arteries around the 100 percenter so they left it alone and put me a stent in the 90. I feel better and seem a little more clear headed. [uh oh]. Interesting procedure for sure. I wan't awake for most of it but woke up as they were finishing up. Guess I'll be laying off the cheeseburgers from now on. Made some vegetarian chili for lunch today. Thanks for the well wishes. I think I'm lucky I hadn't had a heart attack already!!! Next up is to start gamma globulin injections for my weak ass immune system. Hope that goes as well.

The nurse said it was a typical side effect and that's all I could tolerate. I start the subcutaneous injections next week. Apparently a little more involved than I thought. It involves four needles in the stomach and about an hour long process. I was thinking it was just a quick subcutaneous injection. Also expensive even with my insurance. Got to start cutting back somewhere I guess.
