Here's a site on lacing and tying shoe laces. There are tons of ways to lace your shoes and a bunch of ways to tie them. The guy lists the pros and cons of each method. Breaks shit down to visual and functional aspects. I thought it was stupid at first but then took a closer look. Its very well laid out and presented information even if it turns out the stuff doesn't work as advertised. I figured I'd give some stuff a try and see.

I used the Army Lacing and Ian's Secure Shoelace Knot on my George Foreman Comfort Zone wide sneakers for big men. It made a difference in comfort. The shoes were well broken in and comfortable already but the Army Lacing changed the pressure on the top of my foot that I like a lot better. I'm keeping them that way.
