Shohidul Islam was caged yesterday for throttling porn star Savannah Gold and slitting her throat.

26-year-old Savannah Gold was found in her South London home after 26-year-old Shohidul Islam had brutally murdered her. He had bashed her with a potted plant, strangled her with rope, and then slit her throat. Her neighbors heard her screaming and they found her naked in her home.

Savannah has been in the industry for over six years. I can’t find much on her right now as I just heard about this minutes ago. I did find this Myspace page set up by a fan but I can’t find any of her social networks yet.

Shohidul Islam is married with children. He had earlier robbed two bookies with a fake gun before showing up at Savannah’s home. He’s admitted to police that he went to her home with the intent to rob her. He later told police he was sorry.

He says he went to Savannah’s home to rob her but her neighbors found her naked. Did he rape her or was she already undressed before he broke into her home? Was he a fan of hers or did he just randomly pick her home? They say she’s also an escort. Was he a client of hers or he had no clue whose home he just broke into?

What’s also shocking is that this happened yesterday but they’re already saying he’s being jailed for a minimum of eight years. Eight years?? That’s it?? This was premeditated murder considering she was strangled with a rope that he probably brought himself. The knife was probably his as well. The knife could very well be hers that he grabbed from her kitchen. But did she also have rope that just happened to also be lying around her home that he just happened to grab too??

Both these two articles at The Sun and Sify.com make it seem like he’s already been put on trial and convicted. Unless his “robbery” defense is his guilty plea which has already been processed through the courts in only a day. But how both articles have been worded makes it seem like there’s no trial and he’s now in prison for eight years.

They say Savannah had put her U.S. porn career recently on hold to return home to Britain.

So Darrah thinks an English law court has already passed sentence in this case? She must be a unique specimen, one whose menstruation results in a loss of brain matter.

So why is she being reported as dead?

The Sun is the world's worst newspaper, omitting as they do any mention of the victim's condition, but you'd hope they'd tell you if she was dead. Sify, whoever they are, seem to have copied word for word from The Sun, so they are useless.

But the question remains -- how is she -- I could care less about the criminal career of the guy.

Darrah is never one to allow reality to get in the way of a good preconceived delusion.

Obviously the crime occurred sometime ago (over a year given the slow British justice system, I'd say). The Court handed down its sentence yesterday. I'd guess, although it is not clear, that Natalie herself testified as to her "successful" porn career - so must have survived the attack.

No surprise Darrah totally fucked up the facts.

The comments on the story in the Sun lead me to believe she is still alive.
