I have a feeling she gets side tracked and loses interest if it's not her own thing she's in charge of like her music, her paintings, etc. She was really into the shoot and as a treat, I let her keep the outfit. I like the stuff he did in prison better than Mayhem. He only had access to a synthesizer and made the best he could with it. Good stuff.

I like two of the Burzum albums he made before going to prison, first one was pretty shitty though.

I think the wiki gives an unclear sense of his involvement, if you read Lords of Chaos it's clear that he had a pretty minor role within that band (who I don't care for much either) for a brief period of time. Also btw that wiki article is clearly written by a Varg groupie and draws pretty heavily on the obviously unbiased Encylopedia of White Power in trying to make Varg look like he was a fascist 'pagan' nerd from the beginning instead of a dumb teenager who had read too much Tolkien and took Venom's satanism seriously.

I think they all took Venom pretty seriously at the time. I guess what I meant was that Varg's offstage antics have made him, for better or worse, the face of not only the band but the face of Norwegian Death Metal of that era.

It amazes me tho, that he's managed to rehabilitate his image of a murderer, arsonist, Pagan/ Nazi to that of almost a philosopher. It's like how Manson, with much less success, has tried to turn himself into this environmental activist.

Manson didn't have the internet to promote his ATWA bullshit. I don't think anyone outside the white power fringe on the net take Varg seriously, the interwebs just gives his groupies a bigger soap box.
