What the hell is going on with this? I keep hearing breathless reports on the local news about kids snorting bath salts to get high, and dying. WTF? Kids these days are snorting shit from Bed Bad & Beyond?
Or is this another bullshit story like blinking your lights at a car with their highbeams on will get you killed because it's a gang initiation.
If this is true, who will be the first pornwhore or mope to go down to "bath salts"?

I saw this somewhere a couple of weeks ago. Apparently they're not BB&B type produdcts. They're bought at convenience store. That right there should be the first sign something's wrong. Can you just hear that transaction? "I'll have a pack of peach Swisher Sweets, some chili cheese nachos, a dozen scratch tickets, one of those Confederate flag do- rags...oh yeah...I'm feeling like relaxing so give some of those bath salts...yeah, rthe ones I can snort".

i don't know if it was a hoax but the reports of its use by kids in the u.s. were never really substantiated according to snopes.

It was a hoax. The only high you'd get off inhaling sewage gas/methane is oxygen deprivation. Granted some people like to choke themselves out but helium inhalation is much funnier, and nitrous oxide is much more fun. Anyone whose done much of either knows you get a popskull headache. Most likely the original images from Africa were kids making methane for fuel. They do that, normally on a cesspool scale rather than a 2 litre bottle scale, to make gas for heating or firing a small cook stove.

I went through a hippie crack phase. I was buying whipped cream chargers by the case. Then I "fished"(had a seizure) and that was the last time I ever did nitrous. The seizure was some scary shit. I flopped around on the floor like a fish out of water for a couple minutes then I threw up afterwards. I sold off the rest of my nitrous and associated paraphernalia the next day.
Even if Jenkum is real I can't imagine being so hard up to get high as to smell fermented fecal gases to do it. I like to get drunk once in a while but I refuse to drink Coors lite, Bush or Budweiser even if its free.

Watching dirty hippies fish flop was always a highlight of tail gating at a Dead Show.
I knew a couple guys that ran a scam on the Dead Heads. One would run through and yell "cops coming." Then after everyone scrammed, 2 others would pick up the tank and bolt with it. Probably 3 different shows they did it.

THe amyl nitrate derivative isn't much of a rush or high by itself but huff it while getting a BJ and having an orgasm and you'll understand why it was sold out of alot of sex shops. Around here it was sold as "head cleaner" in porn shops long after the places stopped selling porn on VHS tapes and nobody had VCRs anymore.

The RUSH is almost chemically the same as amyl nitrate. Neither are similar to DMSO which is a solvent, not a nitrate.

here's the deal:
this is just a take off of what's been happening in the UK for a while. a drug in the UK called Mephedrone or Meow Meow has been really huge for years and finally got banned. it's like a cross between meth and exstacy from what i presume. sorry me the resident twink punk libertine drug do-er has not been to england to try such. the components are usually found in garden ingrediants but some people have been buying this bath salt called Ivory Wave and dying from it just to emulate the high. recently, some girl but it was her dumb ass fault for knowing she has diabetes and snorting fucking bath salts anyway when meow meow really isnt that expensive. mostly its fuckups like these peeps who dont educate themselves before loading shit into their system thats screwing it up for the rest of us.
