In this day and age, no one can keep a secret, especially this kind of secret. The articles say it is a performer who is currently active in straight and gay porn. Sometimes people don't know the obvious even if it is staring at them in face. There is a website called Straight Guys For Gay Eyes that caters to gay men who like to watch men having straight sex. Most of the male performers on the site primarily work in gay porn yet are having sex w/women w/no condom. A number guys are on female performer's "NO" list for doing gay porn, it makes me wonder with this info coming out if the girls that performed on this site will get the same treatment with male performers because they worked with men who primarily work in the gay side of the industry.

Apparently someone at AIM has wised up, the quarantine list has been dramatically expanded.
Rumor mill now has the number of positive performers at 20....something I highly doubt. Much more likely that's the number of potential exposures, and it will grow.
Which leads to a question a LOT of people are asking. IF AIM won't release the name of the positive performer what good is AIM? It IS a valid question. If for no other reason than theres no real way to know who the primary and secondary exposures really are. The only way to know if you have been exposed is to know who tested positive. There's no way AIM can know.
AIMs refusal to tell anyone who it is relies on the positive performers honest and accurate info about whom he has worked with in the last 60 days AND on the honest and accurate info about whom each of them has worked with. Because of the mass hysteria the rumor mill starts to fly because everyone wants to know who it is so they can put their minds at ease or if they should be worried. Many of these people want to be responsible and stop working if they have been exposed but AIM doesn't know about them.
In other words....what we have is a cluster fuck.
The truth will eventually get out, it has a way of doing that, same as it did last time. It may be me or one of the other industry blogs. I'm getting lots of names but none are verifiable...yet.
Either way this is a death blow to AIM, the AHF will use this to railroad their agenda

it's excellent that last time aids broke out and naturally things like aim and whether an ex-junkie with a non-competitive degree could use serious supplementation at the reins. fake tests still pass, performers are in and out of the country and known talent pool, testing could be done more frequently and attention paid to working abroad's inherent dangers to the native species of whore. etc. etc.
maybe it's time to realize you're getting preventable diseases, aids is a choice.

Yes, I know we are all responsible for our own actions but this is a situation that you cannot ever turn back..not even if you're Bill Gates or have a few petrol wells in your backyard. Basically, your life is ruined and death is around the corner...and I can bet that nothing is more frightening than when death creeps in slowly....day by day. I would like to see the numbers on that. What with suicides, accidental drug overdoses, intentional drug overdoses, being beaten to death by your pimp, being killed by your John, DUI car accidents, fake cancer, etc, etc

My wife and I provided our daughters, Heather and Meredith with birth control when they entered high school as well as king size California beds in their respective bedrooms so they could entertain their various boyfriends that they invited to sleep over.
Our girls are good girls and they never became pregnant. In fact they graduated from Harvard law school this year and are taking a year off to work with their cousins, Constance and Prudence, as call girls in New York before they join a Wall street law firm.
We are very proud of the girls and they always uses condoms due to our influence as proper parents. Even though the girls adore anal sex we know that they will be safe due to their consistent use of condoms.
If porn stars had proper parenting then they would not have a problem with disease.

obviously it's not me, unless you guys think i am so retarded that i would twitter about AIM if i had any inkling or notion that I am infected/quarantined.
Again, I would posit that the people who are getting infected are doing so outside of the business. Using dirty needles, receiving anal creampies, having multiple anal partners in an evening, etc etc.
I do none of those things. Off camera, I play warcraft, work out, and bullshit on the computer. I fuck off camera maybe 2 times a week (and i never bottom off camera, much less non-condom, much less do drugs either).

No it is perfectly normal. Our daughters, Heather and Meredith have each had sex with perhaps 75 boys and they are now 25 and 24 respectively. Because they had proper parenting and indulged in safe sex at home they have now grown into beautiful young women 34b-24-34 5'4" 110 lbs with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. If you are in a hospital you can choose how much of your information the hospital is allowed to release. There are however, certain issues that cannot be released at any time. I think that the biggest question in all this is AIM's refusal to release the necessary information to California Public Health officials, which I believe, in HIV/AIDS cases is required.

Here is what I recall from reading about this the last time it occurred. When a performer is quarantined, AIM removes that individual's information from its database so their current test results cannot be checked or verified. Assuming that accepted procedures are followed, that prevents the performer from working.
What caused such a stir in 2009 was that the director (reportedly Tom Moore) allowed a female performer to work without having a current test. She had just been tested but the test results had been delayed for a second lab analysis because of a positive finding. Luckily she didn't infect anyone else she worked with on that occasion. She had worked very infrequently and so it was generally accepted that she became infected by contact outside the porn industry.
Judging from Tom Moore's background. I have a hunch that whatever he was filming involved at least some male-male bisexual/homosexual activity. He probably chose her for the scene because he knew that she was comfortable with it and it may well have been part of her private lifestyle.

For better or worse, the people who enter our business usually do so because they are completely broke, drug addicts looking to make big money to score drugs, or people that washed out of mainstream society. These people are the polar opposite of the males and females who have forged a career for themselves in this business and want that career to last as long as possible.
I am part of the second group. I have been doing this since 2003 now, and I will continue doing this as long as I possibly can. I love this business, even though it is very stressful and lonely at times. I have forged a pretty decent career in front of the camera, and now I am trying to forge a decent career behind the camera as well. I would never put that career or my years of hard work in jeopardy. My time off camera is spent working out, playing warcraft, and sitting in front of my computer. I don't drink. I have never touched a drug in my life. I don't go out clubbing. I have sex off camera maybe 2 times a week with other tested female performers.
I definitely do not want to get sick, get HIV, hell get anything. It makes no sense. I worked my butt off to get to where I am in this business, so now I am going to do something risky and throw it all away AND get an incurable life-changing disease as well? Who believes that? Do I perform in scenes that are higher risk than normal Boy Girl scenes? Technically, I will say yes because a TS girl is still not a different gender. But again, there are usually condoms involved, and all TS girls are AIM tested just like me. Also, I have never done an anal creampie scene with a girl or TS girl ever (or at least that I can remember). TS scenes constitute 1 scene every other month at most for me. I take all the precautions I can. But once again, the problems this business has are the behaviors of people OFF camera and not ON camera. The problem with Christian's last post isn't that he is somehow risky (arguing that he is for stuff he did years ago -- when he has obviously tested negative multiple times since then), but that "category 2 -- porn lifers" is somehow safer than "category 1" new arrivals. To the extent that gay porn/straight porn crossover is a problem has to do with lack of testing on the gay side -- if HIV- status was a requirement to work in gay porn with rigorous testing to back it up, it wouldn't be such a big issue. Right now unfortunately it is, and no one actively doing untested shoots should be allowed in the straight industry. That said the straight porn industry is in fact extremely safe -- if you compare known HIV rates for porn mopes/sluts vs. the general population, porn performers are far less likely to become infected: Quote:
