Have any videos ever been filmed there? Its maybe 2.5-3 hours north of LA on the 101...it has a ton of recognizable theme rooms.

I'm there for a week. It's good to get out of L.A.

Ended up at the Madonna once and hated it. The rooms had that "old" smell like a dead body, and overall the place approached a level of kitsch like that one bad trip that didn't have an off switch.

Girls seem to dig it.

What girls? Old swinger chicks in their '40s who listen to Foghat? I like kitsch, but that place looks like really bad kitsch where it's neither unknowingly in on the joke nor purposefully funny. Not to mention, the rooms haven't even been updated with flat screen televisions. If I was screamingly ridiculously rich, one of my businesses would be designing a brothel. It would have a few theme rooms, but mostly look like a boutique hotel. I'd style it minimal and sleek but comfortable.
