I know a guy who was a financial officer with his company. He was hanging on at lower pay waiting for he stock options to mature ... and hopefully his allocation would grow [1998 in the internet boom].
But, his wife was mad that she was out-earning him and blamed him that she had to work after having their kid [odd since she was the type that would NEVER quit].
To escape his job and her, he played in a band in the odd evening and weekend. She would rail against the band and him "reliving his youth".
Long story short, she ended up fucking the married drummer from the band. Ruined two marriages. She was so sure that my friend had nothing that she was delighted to sign off that each kept their own. She was slightly less delighted when she found out that he ended up doubling her earnings during their marriage when he was able to turn over his options.
She isn't very happy with me since, to lampoon her endless rants against him, I refer to her whoring around with the drummer as "reliving her youth".
Everyone else seems to like it, though. Even, her brother laughed.

Here's how my friends quit soda. They only drank water at meals. Turns out half the time when you're hungry, you're really thirsty. Nothing hydrates like water. You know what else happened during this ween? They ate less! Soon, they quit soda all together because it wasn't thirst quenching and by sneaking more juicy delicious fruit into their day and crisp veggies with meals, they no longer desired that fake high fructose corn syrup Coke crap loaded with exitotoxins to make you an addict.
Drink more water. Squeeze a lil lemon in to make it fun if ya gotta.
My friend lost 5 lbs in ONE MONTH just quitting soda.

You're not wrong there...it's just bizarre to me how they can keep going when they are clearly not delivering what they promise...it's so blatantly obvious that I don't think it even qualifies to be called 'bait and switch'.

I've cut soda out completely, but running is out. I used to run 2 miles everyday in the Army, a lot of it on concrete, and it fucked my legs and knees up! I am going to start on the cardio machines. Elliptical's seem to be ok for me but you look like a goofus while your on it. I havn't had junk food (chips cookies) in over a week! It is not that I am craving them but I eat out of boardom more than anything.

You are right Gia about soda, but if you cut junk food like Mcd or any shit like that the result will be even better, one thing I noticed last summer on a trip to Italy, most people are slim and very well fit, they eat pasta almost every day but there's no Mcd or BK.

I am switching over to the 6 meal a day routine next week. trying to find the best place to buy myloplex shakes and bars. I like the body for life routine. Easy to remember but changes enough not to get board

Oh, by the way, can you tell I'm divorced? 
Went from 155 to 112 and then because of chemo (and over-eating) I swelled up to 232. I have cut out soda and most fried foods and am down to 212 but my eating habits suck ass. There is NO way I could stop eating meat completely. (Kinda like Christianxxx ha ha) Any body here been through the joys of chemo and know the best way to get back into shape and the types of food I should be eating?
