Her claim begs the question, is the 8 second rule fairly common among porn directors?

Understandably, most directors don't want the prolonged awkward silence of something like the typical Mike South video - him slouched over the girl missionary like a praying mantis, sweating and tongue-wagging, and she staring quietly at the ceiling grasping at memories of happier times.

On the other hand, with an 8 second rule, a director runs the risk of the girl going overboard, like this girl at the 1:20 mark, who takes it to the next level and ends up possessed by demons - call the Exorcist!

In the end it's a toss up - not enough sound and the scene may end up stale. Too much and little missy's brain may melt under the constant scorn of the stopwatch. As for Megan Moore, she may come off as an incredible pain. I think she's just lovably wacky.

I saw Megan Moore in a recent Amateur Allure scene, and her eyes were so fucking red and bleary I am convinced I have a new candidate for Mrs. Admiral 2.0. That girl knows how to party.

I think you're right Admiral - this girl is touched. Despite the testing of limits she does at first with all the whining, when he finally tells her "look I normally shoot girls that haven't done anything else yet, and yet I brought YOU in here...", she gets very quiet and stares down at her shoes.

I normally can't be bothered with "pre scene interviews" but there's something fascinating about Megan's on many levels. The first time I saw it, I thought it was schtick they'd worked out ahead of time - that she act awkward. Then slowly it sank in that she was very much serious.
