I agree that you are usually a good mod gia, but I think it's been fairly well established that this ban was a bad call. sure she was annoying, but the fanboi type reactions to her threads, that in turn fuelled her constant posting for those few days had a lot to do with her rise to infamy. that ridiculously flirtatious back and forth with slob wrongjob was annoying enough to warrant him some time in the penalty box..

i didnt quite understand what in that message proved she was worthy of banning for. I'm totally lost on that.

I didn't ban Starrpowerready because of Ashli's myspace message. I banned her because it was a constant retard exchange going nowhere with you people, including you Longshot. Relax, tatty. Bitching about the quality of posters and/or bannings has become an annual ritual. Do a little digging and you'll see, this ain't exactly new ground being covered here. Just try to think of it as XPT's collective vagina bleeding once a year instead of once a month.
What's more, when you've been around long enough, you may even start to agree with both sides, which I do, even though I know it doesn't really make any sense. I don't agree with Gia's decision, but I know if I had mod powers, I'd be knocking motherfuckers off left and right. You either get used to the hypocrisy and unfairness of the board or you don't. And try not to take this shit so seriously... we already have one Jim B, and that's plenty.

Why do so many posts on XPT simply talk about XPT? This thread sucks. It sucked before the banning and it sucks even more now. One person's annoyance could be another person's entertainment. Feel free to ban me for saying that, or whatever the fuck people get banned for on XPT. It's super cliquish here. That doesn't bother me any, since I come and go as I please, but I can see it sucking for someone new who really wants to be a part of this board. And there is another post on XPT simply talking about XPT.

My 2 cents - unbanning Starrpower is probably a good idea and a decent move. For the overzealous and annoying poster there could be a 24hr temporary ban - a cooling off period if you will. A slap on the wrist as opposed to a kick in the groin.
