There are many fake or B.S. "agents" ,,,, that are not licensed, legit, and/or likely to be a positive help in your career.
Many times you will hear talk of "suitcase pimps" .... Well this is not just a phrase for "boyfriends" , or "loser photographers" ... It is a term that can describe loser Agents TOO.
I had the misfortune of running into such a LOSER !!!
I was not really looking to get into the Biz.. but a guy that literally sits on the internet all day long,, on chat rooms and model sites.. Seeking out the helpless, the ignorant, the drugged out, & anyone that he can manipulate!
Thankfully I ran into a wonderful PornStar who just in time with the help of her stand-up agent I was Saved !!!
Also thankfully I had only wasted/lost 2 weeks of my life, bullshitting around with this loser "suitcase pimp" type agent. But I am thankful and still I wonder how bad it could have gotten or haw luck may have turned differently and so on....
I will not go into naming any names ... But when deciding to work with an agent make sure he is legit & has references. Never sign a contract without having a lawyer look at it, and never sign anything under the influence. Make sure that he is A LICENSED Agent & that the girls he claims to represent are truly under his representation. !!!!!!
