Porn Valley- In a conversation I had last October with Michael Ninn, he brought up how the Rhino move at that time had been a good one for him. Famous last words.
According to Ninn, he was still doing between 2200 to 2500 pieces out the door while most of the industry was residing around the 500 to 800 pieces plateau. Since then it’s been getting worse.
“We developed a niche-market clientele,” Ninn was saying. “They’re not the most vocal people in the adult industry, but they’re loyal. My web members are loyal. People who buy my stuff are loyal, and we haven’t seen a decline. But I know it’s coming. I know it’s going to be more Net-driven, but I still think people right now want to put a DVD in and watch it where they want to.”
Now here’s an interesting additional comment Ninn also made:
“But I took a really bad beating at Red Light and learned a few lessons as an owner.”
I brought that quote up over lunch today with The Grand Vizier who’s become something of a junkie with the Ninn, Spearmint Rhino story. The Vizier, however, says he heard it the other way around- that it was Red Light who was hollering uncle.
“Do you know why these girls wanted out of their contract?” asks The Vizier.
“Their contract had them making dance appearances at John Gray’s club. The contract money covered the dance appearances but they were not getting paid for their scenes. They were basically doing their scenes for free. That’s when they all wised up. Michael wasn’t happy about it but there was nothing he could do.”
According to The Vizier, the reason Ninn also got fucked over in the Spearmint deal is because he didn’t include his ‘guy’ in the new contract and tried to negotiate it on his own.
“He turned his back on the people that had been with him in the past,” says The Vizier.
“This was the same person that was involved in the Red Light contract.”
“I knew we were getting to that,” I laugh knowing how The Vizier steers his conversations.
“If you listen to Ninn, though, he claims he got a bad beating in the Red Light deal,” I remind The Viz.
“Not exactly,” says The Vizier. “It was the other way around. The deal was so in his favor it wasn’t even funny. There was a guarantee on what the sales would be. So even if Red Light didn’t sell enough pieces to cover what Ninn was supposed to make, David Joseph had to pay out of his pocket. And it wasn’t just Red Light, but David, personally, who was responsible to cover the nut.”
“The problem was Red Light stopped making the payments,” says The Vizier.
“I heard that Spearmint was taking back Ninn’s house which he got in their deal.”
“Funny how it works, doesn’t it?” says The Vizier.
“Ninn’s ‘guy’ wrote an iron clad deal. And despite the fact that it was several months before they distributed any product, both David Joseph and Red Light were on the hook because it was guaranteed. When they stopped making the payments, Ninn’s ‘guy’ worked something out and Michael moved on. It was after Michael had broken things off with Pure Play and moved here.”
“Ninn seems to have had a trail of these stories,” I tell The Vizier. “I was going over some of my archives and came across an interview I had with Russ Hampshire when Ninn left him quite unexpectedly to go with Private. Ninn has been through a number of companies, now.”
“Russ nurtured Michael and Jane Hamilton was supposed to watch over him to make sure things got done,” explains The Vizier.
“Russ felt Ninn was his boy and Michael would be with him forever. I think from Russ’ point of view it was a loyalty-thing more than anything else. Like he would never have expected Jim Holliday to go anywhere else. He took care of them and figured they would be there forever. Russ was definitely hurt by what happened.”
“Except in the Spearmint deal, Ninn signed for less than 50% ownership and lost his name,” continues The Vizier. “That might be an example that he’s a shitty business man. He just happened to have an advisor who struck the Red Light deal. But said advisor was not included when it came to Spearmint Rhino.”
“Things changed quickly- Spearmint took over the Ninn Worx website, changing all passwords, everything. They started from the beginning, pushing Ninn’s people out. They pushed Q out.”
“I heard that Q and Ninn almost wound up in divorce court over this,” I tell The Vizier.
“Michael should have seen this coming, but his head is in creating Oscar-winning porn and doesn’t see the big picture. But I’m assuming he went into this deal thinking everything would be at his disposal to continue creating those types of movies. He walked in with blinders on. They picked him up in a bar, bought him a drink and fucked him up the ass with no lube, more or less.”
According to The Vizier, the director, Ethan Cane, was going to be Ninn’s alias.
“He wanted to do some stuff through Ninn Worx without his name on it,” says The Vizier.
“He wanted it to look like there were other directors and that it wasn’t all coming through him. But when his head of production left, the head of production went over to New Sensations and told them he was Ethan Cane, here’s some of my movies.
“They said, wow, you can make movies almost like Michael Ninn. He stole the name, but Michael said fuck it. That’s how he got the directing gig.”
The Vizier notes that Dyanna Lauren is also sitting very pretty.
“She and John Gray were on the verge- a couple of times- of divorce,” says The Vizier. “Gray had promised her that she was going to have the production company. Now things are all fine with them again because she has the production company."
“You think a lot of this was done to pacify her?” I ask The Vizier.
“Ninn is out,” he replies. “It was probably a lot cheaper to give her Ninn Worx then have a divorce and whatever she was going to take.”
“Then, right after Michael had been locked out from the building there was a meeting at the Norco compound,” The Vizier continues.
“Whoever was left from the company, everyone was told you guys are all safe, don’t worry about it, etc. Let’s go over what your responsibilities are and how you’re handling things. They were all assured their jobs were safe. Then they came in the following Monday morning to find out they were all fired. Their brains were picked and they were kicked to the curb.”
“I’m surprised none of the disgruntled employees have come out of the woodwork,” I tell The Vizier.
“People might be talking to lawyers,” suggests The Vizier.

You are so right when you say Larry has alot to loose. He was the responsible person for getting me fired. He kept telling me he was my boss and he could fire me anytime he wanted (I have the text messages saved).
He would not leave me alone at work, so I asked RLD senior managers for help they backed him up and fired me without even looking at the threats on my cellphone. Then when I tried to get work RLD gave me a bad references and "black-balled me" no punn intended. So it does not surprise me to continue to hear stories about RLD treating people badly especially Brandon. They need a real lawyer there to keep them from contantly making decisons that screw good people over.
Sorry, So when I left, Larry cut me off everything including my medical inusrance after 30 years of marriage to help his girlfriend claudia downs (they live together and recently shared a STD together according to several people on the inside). He even tried to take my car away by not making the payments and give it to her. He threatened me countless times (emails saved) that If I did not agree to his terms that he would just quit RLD, move back with his daughter and leave me with nothing (what a guy).
After 5 months of nothing, a judge straightened him out on that with a court order.
He abandoned our house (TOLD ME 2 MONTHS LATER) to move into a luxury apartment with Claudia. Thus destroying my credit as the house went into forclosure. I could not even rent an apartment in my own name. But this is not the first time one our houses was lost and he forced me to us my credit to help him. If he kept his cock out of his adoptive daughter (Debbie) from his first marriage he would still be in the colorado legislature and there would not have been search warrants served at our Colorado home looking for "Kiddy Porn". Oh by the way let let that go into forclosure also.
Because of what he has done with our finances my bond for the agency has doubled as my credit score went to almost nothing. Yet him and cluadia seem to be doing well.
I wrote this to clear up the rumors and mis-information that seems to be going around again.
But what comes around goes around. I will bounce back.

It is really me and thank you. I was just answering a post for a month or so ago that I was told about. I dont need this kind of grief in my life. Im not worried one bit about larry. he talked alot of stuff until the judge slammed him.
RLD out be more concerned with what the gov. is going to do to them over the next few months. It will look like max's case was a playground. Buy a ticket and get a good seat.

Why is everyone so surprised that i cant stand up for myself. You oblisously have not seen the interviews on Luke is back. You obvioulsy were not at the lobor bard hearing with me. Thanks for the advice people like Guapo dont even know the whole story between DJ and Dion like Ido. I was there during all of it. Dion hit DJ in the face in the wherehouse. Instead of DJ fighting back like a man he created a situation where Dion could not work in the industry for 3 years so Dion had to sell real estate.

I remember that photo it was from 1977. It was in Larry's office when I left.

You have. But we have been told things to the contrary as well, we just ignored them (sorry for the harsh statement earilier)
Michael has helped numerous industry people that have had problems with different goverment groups. I have heard him over the phone call his contacts and the problems seem to have gone away. He does has alot of connections and Im sure he was just trying to befriend you as are an attorney and he has alot of attorney friends he helps. I have ner seen Michael has never taken any money from industry people or the attorneys Michael works with.
If you took it as boasting he was only trying to sell himself to someone he respected. Im not saying that everything he did was correct in the begining, but Michael was trying to protect me as you would do the same.
Michael understands the industry better now and trying hard to make those early misunderstandings go away.
We can always have lunch and discuss.

This is all what you have been waiting for and asking for months and years.
1. The prenuptial that Larry was dangling in front of my face blew up in his face when the judge threw it out last week. She told him you make 9k a month and want to give her nothing after 28 years. Every time he tried to be the big shot x-congressman she shut him down. So the coward and pedophile quit his job and is fleeing to Thailand to avoid the court orders when they did not go his way.
2. Larry told the judge he would not be back until April 2009. The judge said that he "Better Be Back for the Jan 2009 Hearing” She made it clear she was not messing around with him any more. Not returning would be a serious mistake on his part.
3. Larry is leaving on Saturday 10-22-08 Flight TG 795 at 9:20 PM he will in criminal and civil contempt of court for not paying spousal support and other court ordered items. I will be back for an OSC-Contempt next week and have him served in Thailand through their embassy. He thinks he still a congressman or parole manager. He just a liar and coward.
4. You will all be surprised as I was when I got his rental records by subpoena Larry claims in hand written memo that Jaylyn Rose is his girlfriend and would be remain in his apartment until his return. Is he dreaming, lying or is she out of her mind. Claudia Downs left to Kentucky when she heard there was a subpoena for her I wonder if Jaylyn will when she gets served next week.
5. I received the official transcripts and police reports from Colorado this week. It is from the covert and taped telephone call Larry had with his daughter “Debbie”. He seems to like that name. Yes, everyone, Larry admitted on tape to having a sexual relationship with her when she was under age. He called it “training like the African princes’ do with their daughters”. He also admitted when she confronted him about having a DOG involved with the sexual encounter. Yes a dog. He admitted that he had sex with his other daughter Lesa when she was under age.
I watched him burn several 8mm reels, DVDs and magazines with young children having sex when social services was on the way to the house in Colorado. The one and only reason for them not prosecuting Larry was the statue of limitations had expired. They had plenty of evidence to prosecute. Larry lied and had all of the notifactions sent to him. He told the mortage company, ford motor credit and capitol one motor credit that we were still together so all deiquent notices were sent to him.
I only found out when he was ordered to produce documents in court he produced them.
By the time I found out it was already siezed by the bank.

Larry announced he was retiring back in December of 2007 when he saw I was verifying the legality of his pre nupt. He threatened me in writing that the RLD in house lawyer was representing him. He told me in writing which is in the judges file that he would quit his job and retire if I did not accept what he was giving me. Yet when we went to court RLD lawyer never showed up as Larry had threatened me with. Larry's acting like a spolied little boy because he made the judge mad with his arrogant attitude towards the judge when the judge made the support award. It appeared that whatever lawyer was advising him gave him the wrong information and it backfired on the both of them.
In our last court appearance Larry said in court that"his lawyer at work (RLD)" was advising him of his right to travel." Thats when the judge told him that he better be here for the January 2009 court date.
Im not mad. But he has to be responsible for all the money he threw away and let our houses go into foreclousre.
As far as his passport, They received the police reports, transcripts and the pictures from his computer too late to stop him from travelling. They are investigating. The one thing they did not "buy" was him teaching english to impoversihed girls. Neither did the judge in orange county. When he said that.
If he does not show up to his court appearances he was told arrest warrrants would be issued and the Thai gov. said they will act on those when issued.
Everything I respond to I have the documentation to prove it.
Oh by the way if anyone knows where claudia downs is I would like to know.

If you have been paying attention you would know I finally received the police reports and transcripts from Colorado last week. I i did not have confirmation until then. Larry professed he was innocent and I had nothing to dispute it until last week.
As far as the burning of the kiddy porn he made me stand there to make me an accomplice he told me that after I asked him what he was burning. He claimed his dad left it at our house. He recently admitted what was burned in a emial before he left to Thailand.
I found out this year I would not have been an accomplice. I left him he did not leave me.
He took our money and hid it away for an escape. I had no access to any of our accounts for years. RLD direct deposited my checks into his account. Thats why the OC judge got aggitated with him. The legal term is finanical servitude.
I have tried to answer all of the questions that have been asked of me. But what I am not going to do is be made the bad guy here.
