Highly recommended:
Martyrs (2008) - 9/10
This is brutal in every way. It comes close to Guinea Pig (I watched part 1 only). Blood, abuse, torture.

@Vizzle: The guinea pig movies deliver at face value. They are great, what you expect is exactly what you get with them. It's like they really aren't specifically catering to anyone. If you are expecting to be disgusted, aroused, repulsed, whatever thy will deliver on that.

Bought a 2-DVD version of "The Fifth Element" used.
First half of the movie, very good; second half disintegrates into a lot of guns and 'plosians.
Some of the extras are interesting in that in 1997, CGI was in its infancy, and a lot of the special effects were done in a more time-consuming manner.
IMDB gives it 7.4.

88 Minutes w/Al Pacino....6/10 stars, one time is definitely enough. Not his best and kinda disappointed he would take on this type of role. Slumdog Millionaire again, love this movie. Forgetting Sarah Marshall....hilarious imo, funny shit.

Dekalog/Decalogue by Krysztof Kieslowski - in short bursts of two episodes at a time. The one on incest left me very troubled.

I can only take so much Ben Stiller. He peaked in the Cohen Brothers movie "What About Mary". His fucken daft act of painful stupidity mixed with Coke Stevensons "who,what..me?" simplicity doesn't serve to carry a movie. Much less a sequel. DeNiro was decent but Stiller has maybe two expressions and they both suck.

Robert DeNiro is my favorite person in those movie(s). He reminds me of a lot of my friends dads. And he is just adorable with the family cat.
I know what you're saying though. I hate Ben Stiller when he plays annoying characters ala Zoolander or Dodgeball. I can think of some funny parts of Meet the Parents though... "bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb bomb bomb"

rewatched Tapeheads today. Best part had to be Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles commericial. didn't know that this was an actual restaurant until today.

The did a decent job capturing the 80's in general but some of the fashion was off, in Pittsburgh during the summer of 1987 everyone was wearing Jams and Vans or metal t-shirts with cut off jeans, not American flag bandanna's, acid washed jeans or polo shirts.
