Lets use this thread to write what the last movie (mainstream) you watched was and whether you liked it or not. Usually people post it in the dvd release thread but i think too many people miss it there. Lets try this thread for reviews, pans and critiques.

I'll begin.
Watched Juno last night and was mildly disappointed, granted it was because my expectations were for a napolean dynamite kind of comedy and it was not one. No fault of the movie though, Juno was a pretty good flick for what it was, good acting, story and writing BUT NOT a laugh out loud comedy. 7/10 stars.

Watched Schindler's List last night and was mildly disappointed, granted it was because my expectations were for a napolean dynamite kind of comedy and it was not one. No fault of the movie though, Schindler's List was a pretty good flick for what it was, good acting, story and writing BUT NOT a laugh out loud comedy. 7/10 stars.

haha, isn't "fear of a krabby patty" on that one? my favorite episode ever is "the fry cook games." no wait, "band geeks," when they play the bubble bowl  . i had the misfortune of watching "the mummy returns" last night. zero wanking bananas. watched "rendition" last week, and it was very good, even though jake gyllenhaal is a big fag.

Watched all the "Pirates" movies last night. WTF happened in that last one? I couldn't tell what was happening with Jack Sparrows running around everywhere and the ship upside down but it was cool to look at.

I yelled "Get an abortion!!!!!" in the theatre during Knocked Up. Last night I watched Pretty In Pink. Again.

I love Pretty in Pink its been on cable for like 2 months now. For real, I didnt understand why she didnt especially with that guy and just getting a big promotion. I fell asleep for the last 40 minutes so I actually didnt see the whole thing.

The Boys & Girls Guide To Getting Down. Saw that on Showtime last week. It was pretty funny. A low budget indie with a bunch of no names. The premise is that it a "guide" to show people how to "get down" in LA divided into different chapters. Starting with whether to go to a club or house party, the difference between Sketchy Drugs (Heroin, Crack and Meth) and Fun Drugs (Weed, Cocaine and Ecstasy). How to get free drinks from the bartender, etc. How to ultimately hook up and how to deal with the awkward waking up with a stranger the next morning. I think it is still floating around on Showtime.

I OnDemanded "Into the Wild"... I had really wanted to see that in the theater but missed it.
Good movie if you like those sort of fictionalized biopics. A little long, but really spoke to my inner adventurous self.

Godalmighty I'm watching "Tommy" on VH1 Classic right now. When Ann Margaret breaks the tv and ends up writhing in "Hi" soap and chocolate sauce it made me feel funny in my pants. That whore is HOT!

Finished up the rest of A Fistful of Dollars last night. Not a bad flick. Got me interested in seeing the rest of the Eastwood westerns(never was really that big of a western fan). His character seems to be one that is ripped-off/payed-homage-to in many other, lesser movies.
I would like to add that I bought this movie a day before Willie's spaghetti western thread, so saying I watched this was not an attempt to fit in with the cool kids on the board.

watched "caddyshack" the other day. i don't think i had ever watched the whole thing. i let my ten year-old watch it with me but he had to cover his eyes at teh sexy parts. i wouldn't put it passed him to toss a baby ruth in at the Y this summer now.

Last movie I saw in a theater was the latest Harold and Kumar. Really funny if you are a stoner. (like me)  Last movie on at home was Vacancy with Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale. It sucked major balls. Last great movie - There will be blood. Daniel Day Lewis is the best actor alive.

Just watched You Kill Me starring Ben Kingsley last night, I was was really pleasantly surprised with it. Funny and enjoyable. 8/10.

The Commitments. It's about an Irish band that plays a lot of rock and soul classics in bars. One of my fave movies.
