Back as early as I can remember there was an unspoken rule. There were three branches of the adult tree….Stripper, Escort and “Adult Model”. While each understood their own unique craft…very few crossed over from their niche. There were a few Strippers that crossed over into PW then onto “feature entertainers”. But I for one have never heard of any to do the hat trick or at least complete it successfully.

The reasons were simple…….

Escorts didn’t care about the sex….just as long as there were no cameras around….total anonymity was paramount and they could keep things totally safe (condoms) at all times even for oral. [Freak behind closed doors ONLY]

Porn Whores wouldn’t care about the camera…..they liked the attention and fame…..but as far as sleeping with fans….yuck…..they are not tested, fat, dirty, ugly…totally nasty. Besides by not fucking my fans this provides my ego the feeling of being absolutely unattainable. [What do you want me to do Mr. Director?]

Now a new breed of gold diggers has arrived and all the rules have changed yet again.

Today it’s just all about the $$$.....truly sad to see. What ever happened to quality craftsmanship in a trade?

Hmmm, I blame the economy and for the economy I blame Bush(it's just fun to blame the guy for anything that goes wrong).

The soaring gasoline and energy prices are driving up the cost of just about everything while the women's pay is staying the same. The girls are having a hard time paying for their Gucci bag, expensive car, and recreational drug habits on just one job's income. Therefore, like many Americans who are struggling to make ends meet, they are having to pick up other odd jobs on the side.

Let's face reality. Chicks that get into porn are in the biz to make as much money as possible **because** they have no other marketable skill that can earn them anywhere near what they can make in the biz with or without good promotion/management.

Since the internet arrived (which is just a giant PR machine), girls become a porn "star" to make vastly more money in other endeavors. Now-a-days porn "stars" command higher rates on film and parlay it into big dollars stripping and escorting via web promotion. Since the girls are in the biz only for the easy money, they promote themselves to the max - or hire a guy like Monstar to do the promotion because it's far too much work.

Girls have no problem with the hat-trick because American culture has made being a whore cool. Go look at fuckin' myspace or facebook. These sites are full of teens flaunting themselves to build a "fan base" and have guys send them "donations." These teen entrepreneurs are just getting an early start so that the day they turn 18, they're getting laid for thousands - instead of for free like some dumb bitch.

xvod, i think you are partly correct. with the rise of the internet and internet companies, there has been a huge explosion in the total number of girls in the business. like probably quadruple the number from even 3 years ago. this means a much, much shorter "shelf life" for the average girl. once a girl enters the business, she is staying in the business in one way or another. its hard to make 900 bucks a day and then go back to waiting tables at applebee's, you know? so in order to continue to make money in this business, escorting is now becoming an extension of doing scenes.

The cold hard reality of tough economic times. On the brightside the supply and demand cycle dictates whores should be dirt cheap in the next few years...seeing the rates drop in small instances as we speak....
