Well, I see today that Fritchys has taken down all its massive collection of links to stolen content. This is another of the big boards that has folded to the combined pressure of lawsuits and, most importantly, threats of advertising revenue loss from folks like AFF and Fleshlight. See, if you remove the revenue these boards get from advertising, there are no funds to keep them afloat, so they are vulnerable to pressure from their advertisers. And the advertisers are getting mucho pressure from the content producers to stop supporting these content thieves.
Of course, there are still many link boards and torrent sites but for how much longer? And don't think they'll just move off shore; who will pay to keep them running when they cannot get advertiser dollars any longer? Members? Hell no, they won't even pay for porn.
