Porn Valley- Rachel Worth reports the following: Jon Belinkie, President of KSEXradio.com called in to the Temptation Show on KSEX tonight, Thursday, May 10, to announce the surprising changes at KSEX. He read the following statement:
"It is with sadness that I announce the termination of Wankus as both an on air personality and program director of KSEX effective immediately. We wish him well in his future endeavors.
On a brighter note, it is with pleasure that I announce the promotion of Lorraine Summers as Acting Program Director as we assess our staffing and seek to fill any holes left by Wankus' departure. We are also delighted to announce the addition to KSEX staff of Joe Brandi as Director of Marketing.
The future for KSEX is truly bright. You will see from the moment we launch 24 hour 7 day a week programming at our new location on June 1, simultaneously launch the completely revamped website with a full members' community, KSEX internet radio, KSEX television, and soon-to-be-announced KSEX Pay Per View, that a new day has dawned.
Ksex will also feature a brand new affiliate program offering 50% to webmasters for the new site.
We have great loyal people in the KSEX family and those who have stuck with us thru hard times are about to be rewarded in a variety of ways.
Hold on tight, for the slogan 'we keep it cumming' will yet again be proved to be an understatement."
About an hour after he made the announcement, he had this to say when contacted by phone: "I have nothing bad to say about Wankus. I like him as a person and I respect his talent. I wish him only the best. I hope he continues to be involved in a positive way." Wankus is still part owner of KSEX, so will still be involved, but not as on-air talent or as Program Director.
He acknowledged the difficulty of what had transpired up until this evening, and said it was a bittersweet moment because at the same time as facing the departure of Wankus, he was also very excited about the direction that KSEX is moving in. There will be KSEX on Sirius radio, new strategic partnerships and a brand new studio.
Jon said that there can only be one Indian Chief and that he and Wankus had different visions for the future. He acknowledged that Wankus was instrumental in KSEX's history and creating what it is today. Jon feels that he (Jon) is moving forward in the best interest of the fans, employees and stockholders of KSEX, and will take it to a much greater place than where it has been. He said to "get ready for the rocket ride starting June 1
