I was doing an interview Wednesday morning about the size of the porn industry, about oversaturation, about how the size of the DVD market is stable but the number of producers is increasing, how many producers are lucky to sell 600 DVDs of a title, and it prompts me to wonder whether we killed Jon Dough by not purchasing enough of his DVDs? Was an oversaturated market in part responsible for the great man's death? Is his blood on our hands?

umm, no. People lose jobs, money, business, ect. all the time. Most of them are able to buck up and deal with it. No, I nor anyone else for that matter should feel sorry for him if that's the reason he offed himself.

Duke, we killed Jon Dough just like you are personally responsible for at least a couple hundred UAW lay-offs in Detroit and an untold number of resulting suicides.
If you'd get rid of the serial killer van and lease a new vehicle every couple of years you could redeem yourself.

Give me a break! A great man doesn't crumble in the face of opposition and a great man doesn't off himself and leave a 4 year old child to grow up without a father.
It's a shame that he decided to take the easy way out, when he could have got help from his apparently many friends.

Are you trying to make a statement in the guise of a rhetorical question, or are you seriously asking the question in hopes of getting a response?
This is the only conclusion I can come up with for this asinine post.
If you seriously ponder if wether or not we as the porn buying public are "responsible" for the man's death, because we did not fork over enough of our hard earned cash to buy whatever he was selling, then you must not be as smart as you think you are.
But maybe you are not at fault, maybe it is just plain ignorance, because what would you know about working hard for your money.
But I'm just a simple simian, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt.
PS - Is your new site for sale? If so I would gladly pay you tuesday for your website today, and I'll even let you buy it back for a dollar in 5 years.

From what i understand he had either manic depression or good ol' fashioned "depression". They're medical conditions. Blaming a clinically depressed person for killing themselves is like blaming someone for sneezing because they have a cold.
