Scumbag #3:

I got a lot of email over the weekend congratulating me for exposing scumbags in the biz, some asked if I was going to expose others, like Mark Speigler, Regan Senter, Reb and about a dozen others. I don't really have first hand experience with those guys, nor has anyone related a story first hand so I can't say they are deserving or not. One I can speak to though is another Atlanta local Collin Towers.

Collin is a bit more smooth, he does have an agency, one that is legit, to some degree, and he does get his girls a modicum of work. but a legit scumbag is still a scumbag. For starters Collin employs Rennie Bonhart (Scumbag #2), so that alone should tell you something....birds of a feather and all that.

Here is an email from one of his...ahem.. satisfied customers:

"He tried to have me sign an exclusive contract when we first moved here. I love it when people want you to sign contract but give no guarantee of work.....sounds like a real deal, huh? then to top that off he wanted it stated in the contract that I would have to do free shoots once a week that I would eventually get profit sharing off of from his content site. I did accept jobs from him for a while, non-contract, most of which were private perverts that just wanted a model to play with for a day. It was like he was the little pimp to all these girls, and he was pimping the girls out to geeks that can't get girls so they hire the "models" from his website...."

Collin collects both a percentage from the models and an agency fee from the people who hire them, a practice that is illegal in many states, and those free once a week shoots that he wants...he sells that as content and of the 4 girls I spoke with none of them had ever received a dime in payment. Then to add insult to injury he also sells the photographs as stock photos and the girls he insists cannot do hardcore while under "contract" to him find their photos being used in hooker ads in such magazines as Xcitement and Nightmoves.

Even though he claims "his girls will not do boy/girl I have shot over half the girls he has claimed to represent. They come to me for work and if they pass my interview they get it.

Collin operates a company in Atlanta called Agency Glamour and is a reasonably good photographer, provided you like that 80s fashion look. All this aside, from everyone I have spoken with Collin is less than honest....stay away from him. If you want work in Atlanta contact me I know everyone who shoots here and I will be happy to provide you with work that matches your comfort zone and you won't have your family reading ads in the paper with your picture proclaiming that you do incalls and are the "actual model pictured." Oh ya...and you don't have to pay me.

Scumbag #1 gets thwarted:

Ok Mike, U have my total attention. Michael Allen e-mailed me with that same script. He said the $$$ would be in cash & it was a weekend deal. I was 2 be paid at the close of each day. The pay was $2500.00 cash. Now he wants me 2 fly 2 Canada 4 the 4th & 6th of April. It was a face 2 face meeting. I was suppose 2 perform acts with him & other men. 2 see if I looked good on film. Plus I'm a very busty southern girl, so he said that I had 2 be fitted. Now there wasn't any $$$ 4 this, because it is really an audition. He also said, after shooting with him, I would be set. He has people that will know me after the shoot. Now the weekend trip is.......4 seven long day's in Jamaica with him. The last time that we spoke, he talked about our room, Not mine.......OURS!!! The name he is using is Center Fold Search. We were 2 stay @ Hedonism 3. I was supposed 2 keep all the out fits that he had made 4 me. He calls often, I suppose he calls 2 get off. I am the Rennie Bonhart that was I repeat used to work part-tme for Collin Towers in 2003,I have had my disagreements with Collin Towers,yes!but he is no scumbag when it come to business at least in 2003. I have not seen him in almost 2 years.When it comes to anyone do you take Mike South as gospel.He mentions me as a scumbag as well. It is funny I have worked with many girls who felt when I worked with them I was very professional and yes I have worked with girls like everyone in the business that are either bad models or the problem model the two types that will always find bad things to say about the person they are working with when they get on set and do not really want to do the agreed upon job etc.Yes I agree there are bad agents, producers, directors and the light girls and everyone else need to take the personal hear say and do there own homework and hang these guys out to dry. I will say yes I am a small east coast company not rolling in the L.A.$ every girl knows when booking with me. A lot of my shoots have been backed by larger companies I do shoot for and the pay is very good for that, in L.A. prices that I have been told are and know girls get that for certain jobs.In fact I have worked with girls who have said they would not work with Mike South. I called one agent to try and book a girl to come to Atlanta and do a shoot once, the only thing she heard 1st was a actor/ producer in Atlanta wanted to book her for a shoot her reply was if it is Mike South you can forget it and this young lady now is one of the hottest ladies in the business.I would like to say I am not now working on being an agent as well for any girl it is to much of a problem. I have been thinking of getting back into it; however, I do offer leads to other jobs for girls working with my production company and to help them do other photo or footage for them if they want, or even set up a site.It is up to them.I am seeking another contract girl; however, who can have possible ownership in the company working together as it grows, Furthermore one girl I worked with is Felicia Flint which is a very good model one of the best I've worked with let me say I have never ever managed her she did some video work for me and a company I shoot for which we shot at Collin Towers studio. I will go on to say I do not know her feelings about Mr. South or if she has ever worked for him. I mention her to let you know if I was such a smugbag could I have booked her. I also would if she or any other model who has worked with any of the 3 of us write on this board there honest feedback.I would like to get to the meat here Mr. South with his ego has a way of using his pull and his board as a way to get back at people he has a personal falling out with whether bad or good people.Mr.
South and I fell out when a model I had discovered and had under written contract with he had her break the contract after we also had a verbal agreement dealing with this talent.He did the same with Mr. Towers with many of the models he had contracts with; in fact, one of them being Cori Love.I had this contract in my hands because remember I worked with access to all his paperwork this contract Mr. South also signed.So if I were to put down all I have heard about Mr. South bad I could go on and on.As you can see there is no love lost between the two of us I am looking for him to feedback on this it would shock to me if he did not. I used to take everything he said as gospel(like a lot of people in the business seems too) also maybe that's why I only had a verbal agreement with him.I had been holding off 3 years on this child like bashing but seeing this here again was too
much I decided I needed to clear the air.When I see someone I do not think I know or that knows me putting me on this board in such light.I am also not defending or saying anything bad about the others you mentioned as scumbag(Skumbags)I have not worked with them in any way or come across any girls that has said anything about them. I will do my homework.
