You can't control anyone even your child when they are of legal age with the right to do what they want to do whether its destructive or not. Parents can only do so much when they aren't obligated to full responsibility anymore. Many of these legal youngin's are still in their rebellious teenage stage and don't quite give a shit what anyone has to say. They go for the kill and do what satisfies themselves not others even if it's self destructive. So really... it doesn't matter what the parents think. They can't throw them in a cage.

Yeah, i'm totally aware of that, but that's not my point. CAOH musings are usually on target. But he (and some other posters) keep returning to this notion of the father and/or mother either worried or ignorant of their daughter's condition.

I would think this is the exception and not the rule concerning porn performer parents. According to JM almost all performers have been sexually abused, I'm just saying that I don't think there are innocent parents and families out there. that they had a hand, and if they had a hand, I bet more than half don't give a fuck about it, or if they don't know it's going on, they're still fucked up in their own way and their fuck ups have affected ther children.

I don't doubt a lot of people were abused growing up but there's also a lot of people who were brutally abused growing up and aren't even in porn. I wonder why they're not in porn.

But you can't just throw every single person into one category with the assumption everyone got abused to the point of only resorting to porn. That's pretty silly. It goes deeper than that.

Believe it or not but majority of the men and women in this industry has their own unique story whether its bad, sad, good, warming, refreshing, brutalizing, whatever and they all happen to be fairly interesting from the ones I've listened to or read about.

I find the resistance to the notion that parents/siblings would be upset to discover their young female relative being systematically sexually brutalized on media preservation devices to be simultaneously int5erest, disturbing, perplexing, and arousing.
