How about putting a commentary feature on the Gag Factor DVDs with Simp or Cumalloverher (or Jim Powers) adding their thoughts?

Most may laugh at the concept, and I also ready not to long ago from Gia Jordan herlsef that the idea of providing a narrative soundtrack to a gonzo porn release sounds weird at best, but it's something which I myself have thought about for the longest time.
See in mainstream Hollywood fame, some directors and actors actually relish the idea of commenting over a film on its DVD release, simply based on the fact they can share little moments on the set when the scene was shot, and describe added details, etc.. etc...
I also heard that some adult porn DVDs out there also have an audio commentary track. Sadly, none of those are readily available in Canada on the open market...
In any case what could possibly make up a decent audio commentary track for a porn film?
1) The ladies; the women involved in the scene could provide her thoughts on the scene itself, the set-up, the production side of things off camera, her own thoughts during the scene, etc.. etc...
2) The director / producer; these guys could provide more data and info about how the film began, the production troubles they ran into, who was a darling on set and who was black-list worthy, etc...
3) Anyone on the commentary could also be offering their own reviews about the scene/release they are watching. I know myself I've often provided live commentaries to folks who would watch DVDs in my porn collection; as they'd be scanning the DVDs in my collection, I would bring up annecdotes and specifics involving various aspects of the performers and/or production surrounding a specific release.
It's not a bad idea, but I suspect there isn't a market for such bonus material right now. One thing's for certain, I would love to hear BTS commentary by the performers and directors of certain porn lines available out there

PS: just wanted to point out that JM Productions are incredibly difficult to find in my area (Mtl, Qc, Cdn). In fact no matter how many titles from JM Productions I order through my local distributors (I deal with direct distributors almost exclusively), they NEVER get ANY JM Productions. So suffice it to say that most of the products released by JM doesn't make it way past the border... Or at least, it isn't being promoted nor distributed openly in our city here... Why not ask your favorite local porn shops to carry JM? Perhaps they don't because they don't know there's a demand for it. Or you can just order the movies from here.

Hi Gia; I don't wish to change the nature of this thread/post but I will add this to the subject; In Canada, porn isn't what it is in the USA. Although we are apparently open-minded folks who aren't too hypocritical about our adult entertainment (of course there are idiots/morons/retards all over the globe...), most video shots or sex shops who carry porn DVD titles just aren't knowledgeable on the subject. In fact, their own porn knowledge barely leaves the "Jenna Jameson" or "Pirates" grounds, which means that they are pretty much ignorant to most of the good or beter porn available out there. Once I asked a retailer about Tiffany Mynx; he didn't know who she was even after I pulled out 2 DVDs in his section for ID purposes. I once asked about "HomeGrown" videos, and they had no clue. Ignorance and lack of interests is an unfortunate reality in the so-called porn "industry" within Canada... But I could go on and on about this, which I won't for the moment. Let's me just say I challenge almost anyone (ALMOST) in the city of Montreal who has greater knowledge of the porn industry than I have... I'm not "that" good per se but I have yet to have encountered another person within this city who has 1/2 the knowledge I have accumulated thus far...  Also, my own distributors, i.e. the guys from whom I buy most of my porn, can't get everything. Apparently there are some USA companies (like Rosebud or Red Light District or even older Anabolic/Diabolic for example) who don't distribute their stuff in Montreal anymore simply because of faulty payment from re-distributors. So this means that because some idiot running a sex shop doesn't pay his bills, the fans are stuck facing the fact that most of their porn is not even crossing the border anymore. And last but not least, I find myself shopping online now more than ever especially when I find a site which sells some titles for dirt cheap for lack of interest (according to their own market research), whereas if they would distribute their stuff in Canada, one fan would be a regular customer at least! I like to see what the so-called local selection stocks for kicks and a laugh. My own collection beats almost any shops' selection hands down.
Also; it's easier to order through sources you already know than to take a chance that your order will be intercepted and detained and finally never delivered by the Canada border patrol and postal services; importing porn through the mail is risky for me; my address is already of a "being watched" list....

But of course! Allow me also to point out I come from a pre-WWW world where the prefered form of porn consumption was VHS and DVD rental and purchasing... And it is still my prefered method thus far, except when it comes to specific and custom requests handled by the stars in WWW porn sites; now THAT's worth every penny! Cheers!  Butterman

I don't know where u live in Montreal but I live there and I have no problem getting most of the recent release from major porn company like elegant angel, evil angel and many other ones, don't go to sex shop they are over priced for dvd's go to xxx video club, many in the East end of Mtl and some of these place even have viewing rooms...

What I mean to say is this;
1) In Montreal we don't get (amongst other lines) the Peter North Northstar lines all that much, don't get any Rosebud releases, JM Productions and Platinum X Pictures stuff appears to be rare enough. Most of the time it's the more generic edited for canadian content we get. Things have improved other the last few months I've noticed
2) Every thing depends on location; my 1/2 bro Zef in Magog finds some used DVDs over there which were sold out in MTL long ago. Different video shops and other places seem to stock up on similar yet slighlty varied stuff.
3) The delay between USA street dates and Cdn street dates has decreased making new(er) releases still fresh enough by the time they hit the shleves in MTL; I just don't want to pay $40 for Lex The Impaler $4 you know?
4) Sex shops ridiculously over price their DVDs, except after 1 month's release or so, they start throwing last month's new stuff in their liquidation and package deal bins. I often find stuff like that at ridiculous low price; recently found a 10 year old DVD featuring one of Carmen Vera's 1st apprerances; I paid $2.49 for the DVD.
Finally; I don't go down to the East part of MTL all that much; I live more North West (but not the West Island). Plus I mainly deal directly with suppliers/distributors who offer me discount pricing and some decent selection... Well most of the time...
