XPT 2005 highlights and lowlights so far.... - 06/01/05 01:05 PM

Of course, feel free to add your own.

Highlights in no particular order:

Luke Ford and Air Supply.

Fake bono-ONE.

Monkey's return from his self-imposed exile.

James and Arab as Woodward and Bernstein.

This pic.

Da Burglar becoming a moderator.

Soopergrizz's avatar of a fat (maybe retarded) kid playing drums.

Luke Ford's photography.

Hurricane Jenna, particularly the Kami - Jenna Showdown.

Monstar's claim that he perfected his eyebrow grooming technique with a little help from a Sherilyn Fenn photo.

Mandy VS Genesis.

Brandon Iron being busted on his aliases.

Lowlights in no particular order:

dr.pornz.

Tricia Oaks

Monkey's self-imposed exile.

Kyoto's meltdown.

Real bono-ONE, otherwise know as ADTBigBalls.

The repercussions of Hurricane Jenna -- noahped, Liz the Bunny, etc.

Sammura.

I'm sure there are more highlights and lowlights, but my brain hurts from trying to think of all this.

BRAVO! those are all brilliant. Sammura's return wasn't bad she was the most powerful of the cage villains that escaped from the phantom zone.

I suppose praise should be given to the monkey king for making the good list by returning from his exile.

Of course that also means that he needs to be shamed because he entered his exiled to begin with.

Of course that also means that there is no shame at all because he returned from his exile.

I am rambling and making no sence. Hope somebody can make sence of this, cause I can't and I am the one writing this.

Re: XPT 2005 highlights and lowlights so far.... - 06/02/05 09:39 PM

I started this thread because I noticed within the last few weeks XXXPT has had a lot more lurkers. I only started checking the "Who's Online" page about a month ago, so I can't accurately gauge if it's more overall, but over the last few weeks the traffic seems to have raised quite a bit.

So, I figured if they stumbled upon this thread and clicked on the links, they could read some of the gems. I was hoping others would add their favorites, but you lazy, uncaring bastards haven't contributed. Fuckers.

Of course, this requires a .

It seems like the thread is doing what it's supposed to do. Just checked and someone was reading the Fake bono-ONE thread. That truly warms my cold heart.

Since the thread has gone up, there always seems to be at least one person reading one of the links. Usually it's more.

The funny thing about that is about three months prior to this, Bob filed a new SB-2/A with the SEC, but it wasn't on Edgar yet. In it, Bob says that he borrowed about $250k in short term cash from about 7 or 8 people to meet immediate operating expenses. In other words: fux0red. I have to admit that the fireworks when that company collapses are going to be fun to watch.

Re: XPT 2005 highlights and lowlights so far.... - 06/08/05 08:16 PM

it's porn, people wear gold-chains a lot and companies fold constantly, you think anyone will notice?

remember, they really never had shareholders so there's no outrage, just a bunch of "businessmen" scrambling to steal the most from the other last.

avi, at the end of the day, said all there was to know about the future of jkp in january-the weirdest thing was i saw him online reading some totally-nontangential post a month ago.

so, the only interesting thing left is whether this registers with the accountacops, they're a little-defanged now vs. january and i'm not sure who got ripped-off at the end of the day and whether their house is clean-enough to get outraged about it(you don't want to invite accounting-investigators into your life unless you've been ruined and you've never done anything wrong. ever.)the sheer-stupidity of public-outcry may save bob, everyone was out with torches and pitchforks demanding heads from anyone richer than them whose company tanked. so they give the sec flamethrowers and the oxley-shit to punish bidness. of course, companies are now dropping billions to be paralyzed by more accountants that don't how to interpret a new law and now people want jobs and industry not public-stonings of wharton-grads.(remember what they actually sent milken to prison for?). the sec is even telling people to relax with interpreting the s-0 stuff on filings these days. so other than c.montgomery friedland ripping off a legalized-prostitute and some financial-bottomfeeders, what's the real damage here?

good to have you back, i was worried the scientologists got you.

The suicide ones are great, we are due for one right about now with it being the holidays and all, this is when smartt really realizes how alone he is and confides in the board.

This place needs a hall of fame post section, somewhere its easy to find these posts.
