We have a choice to make. I am sure you have seen the political ads.
I would remind you Mitt Romney has said he wants to put a porn filter on every computer sold. A Romney DOJ would no doubt greatly hamper the entertainment we all enjoy.
Romney is a tool. I think Obama will win handily, so I am going with a protest vote for whoever the Libertarians put out there. I'm getting sick of having to decide between a pile of crap and a bucket of shit.
Romney is collecting way more, he's saving for the final push, and Obama is spending his like it's taxpayers money, but since it's mostly from public sector unions, it is. Boring is the best damn thing Romney could choose, no one will pay any attention. The "You didn't build that" bit is burning him badly with people who have done something with their lives (aka no one here).
Wait until he finds a VP, after being turned down by a few. Then once the Dems eviscerate that person, they will stretch the lead.
Romney probably has 2 choices for VP: someone bound to say something stupid or someone so damn boring that no one likes them.
do they have to pick someone that's already in an elected office?. I mean at this point it's just such a shitshow of lying cunts pandering to the masses that they should be allowed to pick an athlete or musician or celebrity and let it play out.
I think Romney should pick Cunnilingus Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahce as his veep. Woman and a spade. Are you serious, Cit? I really don't see Romney winning. The fear machine has been racheted up so high regarding the gop. Mebbe I'm wrong. I though McCain would win....

The Libertarian candidate is Gary Johnson, former Republican and former governor of New Mexico. I know Gary personally, as I had some business dealings with him just before he took office in New Mexico. He's a great guy and I would love to see him in the Oval Office.
Gary Johnson would be a terrific President. However, Gary Johnson is not the nominee of a major party, and therefore cannot win the election. Our choice is between Mitt Romney, the guy who would put a porn filter on every computer sold, and Barack Obama, the guy whose policies seem selected to ensure you'll never be able afford to purchase another computer because you're unemployed and on the dole. My vote's going to Mitt.

Funding is apportioned on the basis of votes received, which is why I prefer to throw my vote away on a libertarian like Paul or Johnson. One of these days a Republican candidate is going to realize "hard right on economics + hard left on social issues = electoral success".
*add* or possible electoral failure. I love this country but it can be so freaking weird. The guy who believes that owning an assault rifle is a constitutional right is usually the same asshole who believes betting on college sports makes jeebus cry. And don't get me started on the fuckheads who want to let gays get married but too much salt or sugar in junk food...whoah, well that is just beyond the pale.
Speaking of Illinois politics, in that fashion I received two already filled out voter registration cards, the other day, one for my dead mother, and the other was for my dog, Red. I'll give you one guess as to which party affiliation was preselected.
Too bad most people would rather have a paycheck than a welfare check.
Exactly.
So what does that mean? Are you turning against President Obama, too?
Fuck these fair-weather voters. Because its a black guy he's gotta be the 2nd-coming or else it's hit the road. Yet any white guy can screw up and get forgiven and voted back.
Dunno, Reagan turned shit around in two years. Obama ain't turned shit around. People vote with their wallets, they don't give a fuck about skin color. In reality, all this fuss about skin color is just a sideshow.

Barack Hussein Obama Jr. is half white. And he was essentially billed as the second coming leading up to the last election.
Why is it if someone doesn't like something he says or does, they are instantly branded a racist?

BTW, I'm not implying that President Obama has "screwed up" in any way. In fact, he has been a solid and productive C-in-C. The economy was devastated. It is going to be a while before it comes back..and there isn't anything any one President can do to fix that. It just takes time. You can't make companies hire people or decide to expand.
Devastated? Please. I'll agree with you that the POTUS can't "fix" the economy, other than being the head cheerleader. But what he can do is threaten more taxes, threaten more fees, threaten more regulations, threaten more fines and push the theory that successful businesspeople didn't create their own success and that their success somehow belongs to...well, I think we all know who he thinks it belongs to. Does all that make businesses feel like expanding or hiring people?
OK, tri. Here's where you tell us he didn't mean that people don't build their own success, that it was taken out of context. Oh, and that it's racist to call him on his stupidity.
The fact is the man has never had a real job, other than as a teacher and community organizer. Oh, and 18 months in Congress. Put simply, he wasn't, and isn't, qualified to do the job.
Is the other guy any better? He's had a job. He's met a payroll. Richer than God, but he's closer to real people than the current POTUS.
Neither are the best person for the job. So for me it boils down to ideology. Give a massive portion of your income to an unwieldy bureaucracy to trickle it back to you in "services". Or a system that still steals your money at the point of a gun, but not as much. Porn, weed, guns, abortions, race, "free" health care. Just distractions. Let me keep the majority of the fruits of my labour and I'll work out the rest myself.
He's been terrible on weed. Worse than Bush, insofar as he said he'd leave the states the fuck alone. I hope Johnson takes a ton of votes away from him on this. As for the homos marrying, he was more than happy to defend DOMA (which fucking CLINTON signed into law, don't let progressives snow you with this "Sally Ride's partner doesn't get benefits" bullshit) when the Dems had control. http://www.americablog.com/2009/06/obama-justice-department-defends-doma.html
He can pull the 'they're the bad guys' bullshit, but he's essentially been Bush lite on a ton of issues. Hey, how's the Gitmo closing going?

It's amazing how things cease to exist when the press isn't yammering on about them. It went horribly because for some reason, one that I'm sure he's still stymied by, no one in Kansas or South Dakota wanted a prison full of crazy Jihadists on the outskirts of town.

I'd rather have a million lazy niggers on welfare than give one cent to a white collar criminal ......barrack obama on paper though is pretty much identical to george bush. he continues to push the same policies keeping gitmo open....democrats serve the same corporate masters.
It is pretty fucking hilarious how the public health care option that the republitards hail as socialism is basically the same shit proposed by Newt Gingrich when clinton was pushing a much more "socialist" universal health care plan in the early nineties
It was at this point in your post I realized you where a worthless fucking waterheaded pile of dog shit that should be drowned to death in a sewage pond.

Obama getting elected was the 2nd worse thing to ever happen to Cindy Sheehan.
I believe Romney can get the unemployment rate down albeit a Faustian bargain.
Are you fucking nuts or trolling? The guy who made his millions liquidating failing businesses? So by creating new jobs you mean 14 hours a week at burger king or the temps the unemployment office needs to help with the even increasing mountain of paperwork? ooooh referencing Faust you're so learned
That's way south of me. Still a pretty big fuss. Apparently the billboard is owned by some right wing group in southern Idaho, and they're pretty well known for "edgy" billboards. It's a bit of a bullshit premise, because Obama is a POTUS in wartime. Plus, wasn't his Nobel not for stuff he'd already done, but the stuff he was "going to do"? Fantastic pic of the President, tho. Mid sneeze or mid shit.
They go by driver's license here. That's how I got tagged a few months ago. A great trial. Wish I'd have gotten picked. I'd have hung the dipshit.
Good to see you, by the way.
I'm not quite sure how they pick it here, but I've always heard that registered voters are high on the list. I'm not too worried. I'm just gonna go in there, tell them that my job does not compensate me for jury duty, and that's there's no possible way I can focus on facts when the most weighing matter on my mind is "how the fuck am I going to make rent this month?" Worked for all the scrubs that I know that got called in. Except one. He wore a band T-shirt of a dead chick with a cock in her mouth and was immediately sent home and not called back.
I'm retired, for now, but private sector technical jobs are not hard to find.
I think the Romney/Ryan budget would further decimate state and local government services and jobs. Going back to the policies that got us into this mess would take us back down, instead of on a slow recovery path like Obama. We would be at about six percent unemployment if the Republican Congress hadn't squashed every Obama initiative and if it weren't for the Boosh tax cuts.
Romney won't win, not with Ryan's Medicare proposals alienating old folks. Forget Florida.
No it isn’t easy to find private sector technical jobs. I know, that’s the field I work in. It’s even harder to find private sector manufacturing jobs. The amount of private sector job creation isn’t even keeping up with population growth. More people are on welfare than ever before. Obama has not reversed the course, he’s slammed down the pedal and put it in overdrive. Printing more and more money to pump into the economy (90% of which went to his union cronies) all the while increasing the regulation burdens on the small businesses that create the jobs we need to get ourselves out of it. Obama’s proposed tax hike will not only increase taxes for the wealthier private citizens you think are so evil, but nearly a million small businesses. Tell yourself whatever you need to, but most people vote with their wallets, regardless of age, economic class, or even political affiliation. Governor Walker of Wisconsin would not have succeeded in his recent recall election if nearly one third of union households weren’t able to recognize the folly of the public sector union situation in this country and vote for him.

Don't even bother. You have to have a fundamental understanding of economics to even begin to understand this stuff you posted. Libtards have no understanding of this shit, only emotional reaction to libtard talking points.

A "slow recovery". Fuck me, you people are so fucking funny. Oh no...services cut. Whatever will we do? How were people able to survive without without services? Oh, goodness.
We're looking this cycle at a very fundamental decision about our society. Are we a nanny state or do we expect people to take care of themselves?
From 15 years in the "helping" sector when you get down to actually providing services to real individuals, you learn two things:
1)The way we provide for people who really need it...the elderly, the sick, the folks who lost their job and need a hand up, is a fucking sin.
b)There are a lot of people who are able to take care of themselves who simply refuse to. And speaking from the trenches, it's a large majority.
I came to the conclusion that we could really help the lives of people who need the help if we cut off the people who are able to take care of themselves.
The fact is there are only so many services to go around and we're racing toward a tipping point. We don't need to dump the nanny state programs. what we do need to do is take a serious look at who qualifies for them. Until we do, we'll just continue to flail uselessly.
I'm voting for Obama, because I don't want Mitt's hand in my wallet for $500. I will also make sure that everyone in the family will vote for Obama and some neighbors too, because I will give them some free photo paper in exchange for a vote in favor of Obama.

I was going to make a joke about 'falling off the wagon' to maybe explain such idiocy, but that would be a dick move. Seriously though, wtf?

First, Alex do you have any health insurance right now?
Secondly, most of your family or neighbors (notice he didn't say friends) are probably illegals or felons so that's a moot point. But it's good to know that those who are able to vote have such low standards that photo paper from Staples can sway them.
No way. Because Romnelle would be a butt-ugly tranny. But I would not mind being the ghetto ass inspector that would go to the ghettos and enemize the ghetto butts by the order of Obamacare.

And so on.
I don't see him being a good sport when this fleshes out the first Wednesday morning in November.
This Akin guy is obviously a moron, but ironically I don't see the talking heads on the Right falling over themselves to excuse this dipshit's behaviour. You know, the way the Left does with every degenerate that parrots their party line. It never mattered how horribly Bill Clinton or Ted Kennedy treated individual women as long as they were for abortion.
What gets me is the whole if you don't like Obama or make fun of his name you're automatically racist or how Democrats go and feel the need to type WILLARD MITT ROMNEY all the time.
I'd heard that^^ advertised on Medved. I figured it would be a straight to DVD Clinton Chronicles thing. Apparently it's at #4 for weekend box office. Awkward.
@jig They have nothing else. They can't tell folks what they're really about. But they're hinting more than they ever have before.
I think this election will be the watershed moment for the next 25- 30 years. Do we want to fundamentally change this country to the European Socialist model? Or do we continue to reward and encourage achievement? That's why the "you didn't build that" meme has caught on.
Bush was raked over the coals for his failures in business. Romney is the Devil because of his success in business. By people who have never run a business.
Apparently it was #3 but the numbers have been "adjusted" I guess it's based on pre-sales or something. I don't claim to understand how they rank these things. If you want to see it you might have some trouble finding a listing anywhere but the movie website listing, because of a "glitch".
This year the options for president are down right abysmal. I’m not voting for the Mau Mau or the Mormon. Omonkey was never going to get my vote that commie isn’t even an option. Romney is way to phony and slick for my taste. I smell northeast liberal all over this guy. The Republicans needed to nominate a strong tea party candidate that actually stood for something we need a leader with strong principles. Romney is a shill he’ll say and do anything to get elected. I’m planning to vote down ticket and leave the top blank I just don’t trust that Mormon.
If Newt would have had the money he could have captured the republican nomination. I really think he could have brought the fight Obama. Romney has voted as a democrat before. I can’t vote for a man that brought us the blueprint for Obamacare, a man who was for fag rights when he was governor of Mass. The man speaks French for God sakes like I said; I’m going to leave the top of the ticket blank.

Me too probably. The problem with having a tea party candidate is the cries of racism would drown out every other issue whether valid or not.
I've been reading some biographical stuff on Marx. What a loser. I've never read Capital or Manifesto, because it's all theory. I prefer to learn about it put into practice. He was basically a wannabe artiste' with no talent. A ne'er do well who lived off the largess of his aristocratic friend Engels.
That thing is twice the woman that the First Tranny of the United States could ever hope to be.
You know, with the Negro male's predisposition to sucking cock on the dl, it makes me wonder if the whole Janet Reno look that My Michelle is rocking isn't just a matter of hiding in plain sight. I'm beginning to think that she's Hussein's tranny beard. It makes perfect sense and all know it. I'm looking at you, tri, you dl tranny lover, you.
I'm having trouble with this "belonging to the government" thing. I doubt what they were saying was we're owned by the gov. I think they were using "government" as a replacement word for "community". I consider the government to be a part of my community, but it certainly isn't in and of itself the community. This is one of the fundamental differences between the two sides. In my mind , the government should be a help to the community, not the other way around. Which is exactly the Liberal/ Dem thinking. They need us to fork over more and more to return it to us in "services". After they've taken their cut, of course.
I think Bornyo and H2C will agree with me, I had a marvelous time Thursday evening watching Obama be declared the Lord and Saviour. One of my favourite parts was when Jeremiah Wright talked about the white devils and spoke in tongues right before Biden bowed down and kissed Barack's bare feet and then started thrashing himself with a belt. That dyke who flopped around more than Rodney King in a swimming pool was funny too.
Mother Jones. Now that is fucking hilarious. There's a voice of the masses fer ya. Are they still pushing that people in the 1st and 2nd Worlds don't shit right?
Didn't bother to watch. Did he say they were anything over than uninformed fools that would happily buy a bag of magic beans? Oh, wait. They'd happily let someone else pay for their magic beans, because they'd be put in the Community Garden that Jane was able to volunteer at because of free health care.
Seriously, no one here quotes Limbaugh. Mother Jones is certainly no more relevant or less of a joke.
Mother Jones is more of a joke than Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh's a blowhard and an insufferable dick, but he is, in the main, quite trenchant in his analysis of what the left is doing wrong. Mother Jones inhabits a paranoid alternate reality. The Admiral's hippie parents were subscribers.

It was late so I wasn't really on. How about Mother Jones being as big a joke as Alex Jones?
I never got the Fluke hubbub. I live in a country with socialized medicine, but i am more than happy to pay for my own fucking birth control. I mean, I'm the one doing the fucking, no?

I come on this board and talk about porn, sex, politics, race relations, whatever.
What I don't do is insult family members of people who I don't really *actually* know. Because I know at the end of the day, I'm only talking to their "online" persona. Who knows how close or accurate this is to how they really are (though it often provides some pretty good clues).
Bottom line: You don't really know who you're talking or anything about their real lives. So you draw certain lines and you don't cross them.
I was like what the fuck is Wamber Lamps. Then I Googled it. It asked if I meant Amber Lamps, which Urban Dictionary told me was from the Epic Beard man fight, which was great.

During the Health Care Debate, this Sandra Fluke girl was the cheerleader for taxpayer funding of sexual "protection" for college students. Apparently she needed $3000 a year for rubbers, the Pill, whatever her "protection" of choice is. Or she'd have to quit school. She was/ is basically a moron on the level of Antiquelens (jondra?). She wouldn't never been heard from again except the by the 10 people who subscribe to her YouTube channel. Then Limbaugh called her a "slut" on his show. Liberation is all well and good, but you can't pick on a girl if she's a good no makeup wearing Leftist. Stupisity ensued.
^ The thing that irritated me about Fluke was that to get to GeorgetownLaw and stay in Georgetown, plus doing enough political activism to be invited to testify on the hill probably meant she didn't have the time to slut around.
On the day that the Obama will win, I will celebrate with fried chicken, grape soda and other ghetto cuisine.
I had Popeye's the last Election Day and I'll probably do it again this year. My theory being that if Obama loses, it'll be hard to get fried chicken there for a while. What with all the rioting that'll probably take place.
I'll have to run it by tup but that might replace nates current sig. Thanks frank..

God bless you young people.
Here's how old I am: We used to say Reagan and Carter should play a game of Asteroids, winner take all.
Don't sweat it. It'll come out tomorrow that it's out of context and Obama was just repeating what he heard Romney say. And the amen sisters in the press will crow it from the rooftops. They need this guy to win like Lohan (any of them) needs a cocktail. If Mowgli (I know, but Obama's not black, either) doesn't doesn't pull it off, I'm more worried about the talent at MSNBC burning and looting than I am tri's kind.
Fuck, Mitt was one freshly spray tanned motherfucker today.
Rats are starting to jump ship with the election approaching. Sensing there will be no cabinet seat to be had, Tim Pawlenty has taken a lobbyist job and resigned from his spot as Co-chair of Romney's campaign committee. Last one out, turn off the lights.
Four years ago I was convinced Obama was only going to be a single term president. Then the GOP displayed 4 years of inept and nominated a guy completely out of touch with the citizens of the country.
Christie in 2016. Dude is either so void of bullshit or so good at bullshit, that 2016 is his to lose. All he has to do is pick a VP that rates mediocre or better.
Asked about the Fast and Furious program at the Univision forum on Thursday, President Obama falsely claimed that the program began under President George W. Bush.
“I think it’s important for us to understand that the Fast and Furious program was a field-initiated program begun under the previous administration,” the president said. “When Eric Holder found out about it, he discontinued it. We assigned a inspector general to do a thorough report that was just issued, confirming that in fact Eric Holder did not know about this, that he took prompt action and the people who did initiate this were held accountable.”
In actuality, the Fast and Furious program was started in October 2009, nine months into the Obama presidency.
Previous programs involving ATF agents allowing guns to “walk” across the border so as to trace them were run during the Bush presidency, but not this particular “field-initiated program.”
White House officials did not respond to a request for comment after the falsehood was pointed out to them.
More in link. The idiot needs a teleprompter 24/7.
B. S. Pawlenty left because he was expecting the VP nod. That's why he got out of the race so quickly during the primary. Then turned around and picked Ryan, must have really chapped his hide.
As far as the election being over, the polls show the two tied or Obama having a very slight lead. And all the polls have been over sampling Democrats by about 10 points. They do this shit every election to try to discourage Republicans from voting. Remember how Scott Walker was supposed to lose his recall vote and ended up winning by 7 points? Just think of the 2010 republican landslide victory and assume even more pissed off Republicans will come out and vote this time around.
I've seen 11 point skews in some swing states and they still have only a 5 point lead for Obama. There is going to be a lot of shocked faces on the morning of the 7th. There is a Gallup poll out today that says 60% of people don't trust the mass media to be fair or accurate in their reporting. that's going to blow the fuck up on the 7th.
We're all getting to see how totally in the tank every member of the news media is besides a few people on Fox and a handful of talk radio hosts. No matter what's going on worldwide, switch on MSNBC and they'll be doing a story on Romney and how awful he is. I switch it on sometimes just for fun just to see how many seconds until I heard Romney's name or see a graphic on the screen about him. And there is literally nothing under the sun that Obama could say or do which would get him any negative press right now on MSNBC or the other networks.
They have so much invested in Obama. They're the ones that got him elected in the first place. When he goes down they are going to take such a hit.
Oh, I will be watching MSNBC on election night. I'm hoping to see the thrill up Matthews leg turn into a shooting pain down his arm as he clutches his chest and slumps over in his chair. Schultz will have a full on emotional breakdown.
That's just it. I don't know what they do or how they recover if Obama loses. He was supposed to be the savior for our nation and he's totally failed at everything. There's just no way for them to discuss the issues with any credibility anymore.
I don't think he outright lies, I just think he doesn't know. He lives his gimmick of being the "smartest person in the room". Which is fine, if it's close to true.
Could be possible, the foo has been hob-nobbing with celebs and campaigning for 4 years now to really know anything other than knowing how to push through his agenda, but he must know something about it since he invoked executive privilege to protect his homie.

I still think Obama is going to pull this one off. I don't like it but that's the feeling I get right now. I would love to be wrong just to watch Ed Schultz swallow his tongue during MSNBC's coverage. That douchebag makes Matthews seem like William Buckley by comparison.
The U.S. Suffered Its Worst Airpower Loss Since Vietnam Last Week and No One Really Noticed
Quote:
The Taliban attack on an air base in southern Afghanistan on Friday drew coverage for the way the insurgents cloaked themselves in U.S. army uniforms to gain a tactical advantage, but few have taken note of the historical proportions of the damage inflicted. John Gresham, at the Defense Media Network, has published a detailed account of the attack on Camp Bastion, in which two Marines were killed, six U.S. Marine Corps jet fighters were destroyed, and two more "significantly" damaged. Those facts were all carried in most reports, but if that just sounds like a typical damage report from a decade-long war, you're wrong. Gresham explains the devastating damage done to VMA-211, the name of the Marine Corps attack squadron that was most affected last week, noting that it is "arguably the worst day in [U.S. Marine Corps] aviation history since the Tet Offensive of 1968." Or you could go back even further. "The last time VMA-211 was combat ineffective was in December 1941, when the squadron was wiped out during the 13-day defense of Wake Island against the Japanese."
Funny how almost no one in the mass media has covered this.
It doesn't matter who gets elected. Congress, like the fucking twelve-year-old kids they are, took their kickball and went home a long time ago. I love how wrapped up everyone gets with the goddamn presidency and never, ever looks at congress, where the real corruption lies.
My guess is that you're talking about the CBS/NYT swing state poll? For that to be true there would have to be a record Democrat turnout. Biggest in modern political history.
Florida:
In 2004 the vote was R+4. In 2008 the vote was D+3 CBS/NYTs is reporting that in 2012 we will see D+9.
Ohio:
In 2004 the vote was R+5 In 2008 the vote was D+8 CBS/NYTs is reporting that in 2012 we will see D+9
Pennsylvania:
In 2010 the vote was D+3 In 2008 the vote was D+7 CBS/NYTs is reporting that in 2012 we will see D+9
I want no tears from you the morning of the seventh.
I have a 1K yearly death pool with several guys which will end midnight 12-31-2012
My list was heavy with political leaders and So far I'm way ahead with Gaddafi, Kim Jun, and The Syrian Leader Bashar Hafez al-Assad headed down the same road. We give points based on age and method of death.(murder, suicide, Od, or combination of two or the trifecta which is a $100 bonus from all participatns)
One guy has Obama and I think I'm about to loose 2k.....
Dude is getting elected and some other dude is gonna set things right...
I think legally if Obama wins and gets it before he takes his oath then the Speaker of the house is Prez...
The left was crying about an assassination when Obama was elected. What of that actually came true? None. Not even a half assed credible attempt. If he is killed though it will be Islamic terrorists and it will be Biden that gets the office, which should be all the assassination insurance Obama has ever needed.
if he is taken out before he takes oath for a second term then Biden cannot take office because He wasn't elected. They can't call a "special election" so Bidens term ends January 20th 2013 thus the office falls to the speaker of the house who is more than likely to be current speaker of the house. All though I could see a Cardinal Like election happening in the House on Jan5 up until the 10th of January to select the speaker. Hella TV coverage. People talking about a coupe.... The Whole system goes to shit...
That doesn't sound right. Biden is the duly elected Vice President of the United States, he still would be if they win. Boehner is no longer the Speaker of the House once this Congress closes and there won't be a new one until the new one convenes and they elect one. Sounds hazy enough to get the SCOTUS involved.
Section 3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.
It would be a shit storm....
Something I can get behind....The destruction of our current form of government...
If Obama won the election Biden wouldn’t be the Vice President Elect, he would still be the Vice President and still be doing his duties in the Senate accordingly. If as you assume the Republicans take the Senate, then it most likely will be Romney that takes the election and becomes the President Elect and I don’t see any problem with a Republican Congress giving Paul Ryan the go ahead to accept the duties of the President.
Please. They've kept together the best core group of players in the NBA for many years now. They had their three best players make the Olympic team, more than any other. We're not just talking about a great team, we're talking about a dynasty in the making.
Best core for years? Where them championships at then? You are lucky I am a white fool, that only has a passing interest in the NBA. I'm sure Blackules would school you if he was around.
pretty sure blackules won't be needed here unless he's got a standup routine that can " learn" wasshisface how to deliver a line without making the general population want to puke or take up arms.

So far the Western Conference Championship and three Olympic gold medals. It's a young team and not one mired down in it's own self perpetuating malaise like some others professional sports teams that could be mentioned.
Dude, all joking aside, you NEVER pimp your team on a conference championship, league pennant, nothing like that. All it shows is you made it to the Finals and lost.
Maybe it is residue from your college sports fandom, where winning your conference might mean something. I know you Okies aren't really up to snuff on pro sports, but pro sports are all about rings. Medals don't mean shit either. Maybe in Hockey, where the rest of the world is actually competitive.
All that said, they do have a very nice team, and I was rooting for them over Miami. Just don't go jumping the gun on them.
So you haven't pimped your team since 1969. Maybe what they need is a little more fan support.
Anyway, we're getting away from the original idea of this thread which was for the alt ID POTUS (yes I know who you are) to bolster his delusions about an Obama victory.
@ Nate Where are you getting this? I'm going with a second term POTUS dying scenario, natural causes...political assassinations give me the willies. So, the POTUS keels over right before the ceremony. At what point, previous to that, is he not POTUS? As I understand it, a second term is a seamless continuation of the first term. At no point between election and moment of inauguration is the POTUS not the POTUS. The same would be true of the VPOTUS. There would be a seam between a POTUS dying and a VPOTUS taking the reigns, but no bigger seam than is written into the Constitution.
You're right, I think, for a POTUS- elect. Same scenario, first term POTUS- elect dropping in the moments before the ceremony. I'm pretty sure, since the VOPOTUS- elect hasn't been sworn in, that at the moment of power change the Speaker would be the nominal Head of State.
Dude, don't get me started about Woody. Woody is running the team almost as poorly as he raised his daughter. We were him picking up a fucking phone from having Bill Cowher as our head coach. They say the 2 most important spots on an NFL team are Starting QB and Owner, we got an empty uni and an empty suit at those spots.
Romney is killing it in the the debate tonight. Obama sounds like he's still running for his first term election as if the last 3.5 years of his crap Presidency never occurred.
yeah it seems the romney-bot did pretty well for itself. I fucken love the fact that they found the absolute whitest motherfucker on the planet to run against monkey business.
you ever get the feeling you're living in a scripted movie?.
This was a landslide. Even MSNBC is saying Romney was better tonight. Bill Maher thinks Romney won. The only spin they can run with is if they maybe try to pick apart Romney on facts. Maybe Obama should have given more than one press conference a year where he lets reports ask questions. Going on The View is no way to prepare for a substantive debate.
Oh, I'm not saying Romney lost the debate on facts. I'm saying that's literally the only angle the media can take if they want to defend Obama and slam Romney. Romney won this debate. CNN just showed a poll of their viewers with 67% saying Romney won vs. only 25% for Obama. The only thing they can do now is try to claim Romney was lying.
OK, then I guess Romney is a more dynamic liar. Obama seemed like he had a bunch of memorized talking points that he wasn't straying from no matter what. He even repeated some lines from his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention.
For example, he tried to outline Romney's tax plan as having $5 Trillion in tax cuts and kept going back to that number even after Romney had flat out said, "That's not in my plan. I'm not doing that." It was actually kind of funny to watch someone who's supposed to be such a great orator get out-talked by the stiff white dude.
You guys do realize that at this level of politics they are "the face" and we're "the heel", right?. it's bought and paid for at a corporate level which includes the news source that gives you the percentages and tells you what to think. they are "news programs". that doesn't mean it's the news.
I'll be happy when Obama stops spending all the money the country has and just goes away. I'll be happy if a guy who knows how to run a business and make millions from investments is running the show rather than someone who has never run anything in his life outside of academia.
As far as the news media goes, they're almost all in support of Obama, so I don't see what your point is there.
What happened here tonight shows that if you put both candidates out there for 2 hours and let them present their ideas without any spin by the media, the public overwhelming prefers Romney. There's a reason Obama doesn't take questions from the media or go anywhere without his TelePrompter. Shit, he even brought one to give a speech at an elementary school.
I'm voting based on who would do a better job at running the country. Mitt Romney actually looks like a guy who people would work for. Obama is an egghead professor who gives prepared speeches about shit he doesn't comprehend. The problem is, people keep telling him he's a genius and he actually believes it. Tonight was the first time he's really been exposed for how inept he actually is at his job. He's gonna need to play a lot of golf to clear his mind after this performance.
not sure who you're referring to but whoever it is thats where my votes going.
bush jr had a shoe or shoes thrown at him somewhere in arabia.someone there didnt like him too much so they let em fly and he dodged them and had a laugh about it.if bush jr was good for something it was comedy.
He's standing like a 15 year old girl waiting to be asked to Spring Formal.
i thought at that age this would be after wiping semen from their mouths in the back of whatever johnnie the jocks dad bought him as he hands her,her shirt back.
Tatty, I'm still voting for Johnson. It won't matter in my state because Romney will win in a landslide here. Hell, I would vote for either Clinton before either of the numbnuts that debated last night.
DIANE SAWYER: Let me turn to you right now, George, nobody knows politics better than you. Here it is, bottom line, was there a clear winner tonight?
GEORGE STEPHANOPOLOUS: I think Governor Romney was definitely more crisp in his presentation. He was leaning into the debate when President Obama was a little bit more laid back. I think he was able to be aggressive without being offensive. So, even though there were -- I didn't see any knockout punches. No breakthrough moments or major mistakes. I think Governor Romney will get the boost that challengers usually get. The big question, did he do anything to dramatically change the trajectory of the race?
SAWYER: [after some chatter about Twitter reactions to the Romney's comments about Big Bird] I want to turn to Matthew Dowd, a key strategist for both sides of the aisle, at different points in his life. Is George right?
MATTHEW DOWD: Well, I think this -- we all try to make comparisons to these races to previous presidential races and this race has been so eerily familiar to 2004 and tonight was another example of that. it is as if -- very much like Bush-Kerry. Bush came in with a lead, not huge, he came in to play for a draw and John Kerry came in to win. The exact same happened tonight. Mitt Romney came in to win this debate with passion and it looked as if the president came in, as long as I play for a draw, I keep a lead and go forward. if that's the case, I think a very close race just got a lot closer.
SAWYER: Really? Played for a draw and succeeded?
DOWD: No, the president played for a draw, but the guy that comes in and plays for a win usually gets the victory.
STEPHANOPOLOUS: Does a tie go to the challenger?
That's right he's spinning a tie. There are people who will believe that too. It will only grow from here on out.
yeah it seems the romney-bot did pretty well for itself. I fucken love the fact that they found the absolute whitest motherfucker on the planet to run against monkey business.
I'm waiting for someone on MSNBC to try to explain this away by saying that winning a debate is racist.
It's like SATs. The questions were skewed away from the life experiences of a well heeled, private school educated, Hawaii born mulatto with an absent post- Colonial Socialist father and a mother who loved any man as long as he wasn't her race.
If only one of the questions was "can you sink a 3 pointer?".
^^^ Exactly. Bitch knows she just got evicted from the White House. I would love to have heard the, "You ain't nuthin' but a damn fool, sucka!" rant that Barack got once they were home.
Seriously, the card has been overplayed, but I don't expect this gay kid to understand that. It's what he's been taught his entire life.
So the problem is the POTUS, being "Black", can't be confrontational because of some "black tax". OK, I've never heard of that before, but OK, I'll play. If that's true, he is simply unable to do the job. Not his fault, of course, because it never is. It's the fault of racist white people who can't handle an angry half breed. Bullshit whining.
It's really the medias fault. They've babying him for five years now. He wasn't prepared for someone to come out and actually confront him on every single point he was trying to make. Not only that they've been making Romney out to be this know nothing elitist, who is completely out of touch with everyone and everything, but in reality he is very savvy business man, who knows how to take command of just about any situation and get his point across. I think a lot of people saw that for the first time last night.
This guy makes $30/hr at a minimum, ya know. For an unskilled job, ya know. Ya know, it's a union gig, ya know. So, ya know, you have some guy making $30/hr, ya know, whining about how rough he has it, ya know. His, ya know, body's going to, ya know, give out when he's, ya know, 60, ya know. And its, ya know, Romney's fault, ya know, because he doesn't, ya know, give this guy enough hugs. Ya know.

We truly are a cursed society.
That is the shitiest, piece of shit ad I have ever seen. I wanna find the cunt who made that ad and shit on him. Fred Flintstone could do a better job.
first 30 seconds.... paul ryan proving he's a fucken no talent meatbag.
In the VP debate next week, Ryan could have a Tourette's attack the entire time and do nothing but swear, and he'd still be a lesser idiot than Biden. I dare say we could send Panzer to talk about the enema tank for 90 minutes and he would come off better than Biden.
I wouldn't say is Biden stupid. I'd just say he has this innate ability to say the most inappropriate things at the most inappropriate times, like that Obama is planning on raising taxes by a trillion dollars, when there are cameras recording him.
Funny thing about the garbageman video is Romney knows exactly what its like. He spent a shift working on a garbage truck in Mass. when he was elected governor. Did some other blue collar jobs too, just so he could see how it was.
Might sound like a condescending dick move but he seemed to have taken the experience to heart.
Who hugs their garbageman? If that mother fucker is so concerned with his body breaking down by 60, why doesn't he lose some weight?
Who even knows their garbageman? I work stupid ass hours, but those guys are doing their shit when I'm in bed.
But here's the point: Why should he lose weight? Why can't he just get a free check to go with his Gatorade and hug? It's government money, so it's free. Everybody wants stuff. Shouldn't it just be handed to them? It's Christmas in fucking October.
Here's hoping the Team 6 guy that wrote the book stars in a commercial where Barry invited them to the White House for beers, but never quite followed through. Where was their hug? They're the invisible people that keep America running. Obama doesn't care about the military.

I'd heard that. Was it to see what it was like, or was it his dad telling him to see how the other half lived before handing over the combination to the family vault?
What high school or college gigs did Barry have? I honestly don't know whether he had any or not. If he had none, he was a Little Lord Fauntleroy. If he did, it was a condescending dick move. That's the problem with the various "qualifications" we demand our candidates have. When they're applied across the board, no one can even begin to live up to them.
I saw the Gore thing on something last night. I love the camera's quick zoom on him when he said "I'm gonna say something controversial". It really sold the drama of the moment. Until the moment devolved into idiocy. It was kind of sad, because you can tell at the end he realized it didn't sound as good out loud as it did in his head.
I've only seen bits and pieces of the debate, but what I have seen has been a trainwreck. The President's inability to maintain any eye contact is really disturbing. What if he had to go face to face with one of our real enemies, like the guy who runs Canada?
So Obama was awful at yet another thing and you feel required to cover for him by blaming the moderator. Look, he sucks. At everything! He's an awful President with horrible ideas and he's in over his head. He needs to just go away. Blaming everyone but him for every problem he's handled with incompetence doesn't change reality. At this point liberals are just showing us that they'll mindlessly vote for anyone who's a Democrat regardless of their qualifications or job performance.
Obama has done OK. He inherited a potential meltdown, averted disaster, GM is alive and well, OBL is dead and the Al Qaida leadership is the most dangerous job in the world. The economy is slowly heading for a solid recovery. We are out of Iraq and getting out of Afghanistan. Health care has been expanded to millions. Gays can serve openly in the military.
I don't agree with everything he is doing (let's close Gitmo and get some legal guidelines for drone use). He needed to sell the American people on health care and play tougher with the Republican obstructionists. But on the whole he has done a good job.
I hope he has coat tails and gets a mandate, that the deal to avoid the fiscal cliff in December includes some revenue. We need to get rid of the Boosh (worst President since Mussolini) tax cuts for the rich and get some more jobs stimulus programs to repair infrastructure and add cops, teachers, etc.
Wind down the war and invest in the future, this country will come back strong in his second term. Piss away the slow recovery on tax cuts for the rich and start more wars, and we will be fucked.
See, Chuck is the most myopic poster on this board. Obama's $1 trillion stimulus, which was almost entirely spent to prop up public sector unions, of which he is a part or at least makes his salary/benefits, has allowed the government worker unemployment level to remain under 4.3%. So in his eyes Obama saved the economy, it doesn't matter to him what the private sector and the majority of Americans had to endure to make that happen, he just doesn't care.
Most of these Obamatons aren't going to wake up until long after he's gone, either way, or he's fully removed his mask. I liken these members of the populace to the early 1930's Germany citizens who let the Nazi's come to power. They just can't see what's coming.
The fucktard who claimed Romney carried crib-notes into the debate has recanted but you won't see those headlines.
Obama is a big bucket of fail and H2Cit probably described it as closely as anyone could get.
I have clients, two to be exact, with whom I have huge outstanding contracts. They are pending. And those two have told me if Obama wins and Obamacare and Lord knows what else a lame duck term brings goes through, they are fire-saleing their businesses and retiring. There is no way they can survive. I've never heard that before. Ever.
Who the fuck is Gary Johnson. Is he the wheelchair bound uncle you stick in the corner at the Christmas party?
As I've said before on this board, I know Gary Johnson from some business I did with him just before he became the governor of New Mexico. He a very smart, principled and ethical guy. I would love to see him in the White House. Unfortunately, he'll be in the White House, only if he takes a White House tour like the rest of the tourists.
first 30 seconds.... paul ryan proving he's a fucken no talent meatbag.
See you back here on Thursday night. Or should we call the suicide hotline now, and make you a reservation?
you can make the call and get a reservation but it won't be for me. If the first 30 seconds of that video didn't give you the douche chills at the very least then you need your head checked. heh

It could happen, if the Dow dropped 20,000 points, gas prices rise to $20 per gallon, and unemployment hits 35% before election day.
I hate to follow myself up with another post, but I happened to check out NBC News' wesbsite. If you want to see how far they'll go to try to prop up Obama's debate performance, look at this bewildering shit: http://nbcpolitics.nbcnews.com/_news/201...the-debate?lite

Hyperbole. I'd put Obama's reforms on the level of maybe some of FDR's new deal stuff. No one is trying to compare that to the rise of the Nazis.
This is just normal opposition to the growth of government multiplied by the fact that a black man is behind it. Therefore, ingrained racism creates these hyped-up anxieties.

C'mon. This is that same "I'm moving the Canada" BS. The President gets re-elected. Some people will be mad for a while. Then they'll realize things aren't so bad. That if you got things on the ball, you'll still make money and have a fulfilling life.
Who the fuck is Gary Johnson. Is he the wheelchair bound uncle you stick in the corner at the Christmas party?
He is the best candidate out there. Which is exactly why neither the Republicans nor the Democrats want anything to do with him showing up at a debate.

And of course NBC will never, ever, ever point out that, according to Fact Check, Obama lied just as much as Romney did. We will colonize the moon before that happens.

What reforms, the government takeover of healthcare, that was supposed to lower cost but increased them, that's going to add 10 million people to system that is hemorrhaging doctors by the thousands or the bill that gave several giant Wall Street banks a blank government check to do as they will while destroying local banks all over the country? You're right about him being like FDR though, it won't surprise me at all if see him intern tens of thousands of American citizens into prison camps, without due process of law, with the only provocation being based on their ethnicity.
Who the fuck is Gary Johnson. Is he the wheelchair bound uncle you stick in the corner at the Christmas party?
He is the best candidate out there. Which is exactly why neither the Republicans nor the Democrats want anything to do with him showing up at a debate.
I did some quick research on Johnson. OK...not bad.
Big plus on wanting to get rid of this silly war on drugs. If anything, that has been a destroyer of low-income black communities. Insane and unfair sentences that have completely X-ed out generations of black males.
Also getting F-ck out of Afghanistan NOW instead of this "winding down" bullshit.
EDIT: Also, he doesn't seem to be beholden to the Christian Conservative stuff that Ron Paul seems to cling to.
But yeah ... he can't win. So it's better to have the next bext thing: President Obama.
I'm not one of those people who believe there is no difference between the Republicans and Democrats. Get a Dem in there and push him more left instead of throwing a vote away and having a Republican win.
C'mon. This is that same "I'm moving the Canada" BS. The President gets re-elected. Some people will be mad for a while. Then they'll realize things aren't so bad. That if you got things on the ball, you'll still make money and have a fulfilling life.
Despite having that *black man* in the office.
Have you not realized how bad things are RIGHT NOW? Obama is shouldn't be in charge of anything. If he gets re-elected things are only going to get worse. I guess how things are right now aren't so bad compared to how they will be. Do you honestly think this country is better than it was 4 years ago?
@tri Thanks so much for jumping in and playing the race card just in time. His color doesn't matter a bit. His ideas and policies are wrong. Wrong fiscally, wrong for human nature and on the wrong side of history. Him being white would not change that fact.
As for Big Bird, let's put on our real life glasses for a sec, chuckles. Do you believe for a second that if PBS were shut down tomorrow that there would be any detrimental effect to Sesame Street? You're a fool or a liar if you say yes. Sesame Street would, and has, done great in the private sector. But that doesn't fit your bullshit agenda, does it?
All the PBS shows worth watching would do fine in the private sector. People would pay (by watching commercials) for Sesame Street, This Old House, New Yankee Workshop, etc. It's pretty well proven when these PBS stars move out and merchandise in the open market.
PBS and NPR will be just fine. This will be a good test. Liberals can finally put their money where their mouths are and man up and make up the difference in funding out of their own pockets. If that doesn't happen, and it won't, CPB can make up the difference selling back episodes of their successful shows like NOVA and Sesame Street. They already do that with This Old House and they already take corporate sponsors.

Couldn't agree more. I could reject 2/3 of his platform (I don't btw) and he would still come out looking better than the other two. And he's a self-made dude with experience in government. AND he fucking climbed Mount Everest.
But yeah ... he can't win. So it's better to have the next best thing: President Obama.
I first kinda became 'aware' of US presidential politics in 1980, when it Anderson was the 3rd party guy. 32 years later , fuck all has changed because people keep buying into the argument about 3rd parties being a wasted vote. America is almost down to 1 in a lotta ways. It's a shame. Woulda loved to have seen him in the debates.

It's like Romney told Obama: You don't pick winners & losers, you only pick losers. That sums up pretty much the entire Democrat platform: Propping up losers & failures with other people's money.
Remember when Clinton had his girl troubles? "We're not hiring a Pope". We're not hiring a Fonz.
Mormon's were a bloodthirsty lot. Google Mountain Meadows Massacre. They dressed as hatchet packers and slaughtered a little village that had hurt Brigham Young's feelings. Mormon neckties, Blood Atonement. The Danites were the Protectors of the Faith that had no problems spilling the blood of dissenters.
when you're living a lie that big(Mormonism)you'd better be ready to roll. that is some preposterous in your face bullshit those dirty freaks are pulling off.

The PBS is a crock of shit.
It still surprises me that there are people that haven't figured this out. I mean Siskel & Ebert were on PBS 25 years ago.
when you're living a lie that big(Mormonism)you'd better be ready to roll. that is some preposterous in your face bullshit those dirty freaks are pulling off.
They lived in a pretty rough neighborhood then. It certainly wasn't a one way street.
As I get it, it's their own universe. They become God. That's why the importance of a Temple Blessing marriage. If the blushing bride doesn't get her secret name, she might not get through the veil to they Universe.
Raised in Northern Idaho. Know just a bit about the LDS. j
I guess that's better than a bunch if virgins. after ten or twenty punching holes would get old and then there's all the bitching.
being a god sounds like a much better deal plus you've already raped a bunch of broads working through the whole polygamy deal so I guess you have to give em props on being more progressive with their bullshit promises.
POTUS stopped to meet people waiting for him, where he did the requisite hand-shaking, high-fiving and the rare baby-holding before going on to chat with proprietors at Turczyk's Meats and the adjoining Larry Vilstein's, Christopher Bakery and Edward Badbuster & Son. He then asked the proprietor at Rolston Poultry how business was going. "Terrible since you got here," the man said. Pool could not get close enough to the Rolston Poultry man to get his name or political affiliation. POTUS didn't appear amused by the sentiment.
thanks for reminding me.i actually remembered last week but forgot this one.just made a note and stuck it under a film cannister.cups are on the way.im assuming they dont have some kind of image policy right?like theyre not gonna get mad at me for some dick drawing related stuff?i have some ideas for other ones too.

I don't know what they policies are.Probably one of those things that no one would care until someone flagged it. Who knows, tho?
If that were the worst of it. Nothing more intolerant that than the tolerance of do gooders.
No matter how this thing plays out, I'm loving watching the loyal opposition go batshit over the possibility that the Boy King might go the way of that other great leader Jimmy Carter.
I hope it's all up to Biden...he's had his foot in his mouth for the last 20 yrs. Ryan is pretty sharp in a Young Republican kind of way- policy-wonky enough, smart enough, and current enough to connect with swing voters. If Ryan can avoid appearing smug he should do well.
Yeah, he's smiling too much. Ryan just scored a pretty good zinger telling Biden that he must be aware that the words don't always come out of his mouth right.
This looks like a wash to me, so far. Neither one seems able to build any momentum with their replies or deliver a point solidly.
agreed steezo... this is all an exercise in how gullible the average american is. go team, yes?.
i like the way biden just doesn't give a fuck... he knows his role and realizes win or lose theres a huge payout coming. much like ryan knox these guys make it on the backend.
That shit got boring and I've already switched over to Thurs. night football. I don't think this debate will move things much one way or the other. The media will most likely call it a Biden landslide victory though as they're probably desperate to prop up Obama at this point.
I agree with that too. I am only disappointed that Ryan didn't say "all due respect, but shut up" Ryan has allowed him to walk over him. I guess he thought the moderator might control some of this. Oh that's right- OBama was a guest at her daughters wedding.
Oh that's right- OBama was a guest at her daughters wedding.
Actually it was her own wedding to her first husband. Of course, no one at ABC News seems to think that fact could represent any sort of conflict of interest though. I would say she's doing an OK job tonight of remaining impartial. She is almost certainly an Obama supporter though.
This is the teacher who bullied a 16 year old for wearing a Romney shirt to school in Philadelphia. She also released a statement. She should have been terminated but the union put a stopped that.
Quote:
“First of all, I’m very sorry for all the chaos and negative attention that has surrounded the school in the past couple of weeks. What I meant as a light and humorous remark during class has developed into a huge conflict between students, faculty, parents and neighbors. My words were never meant to belittle Ms. Pawlucy, or cause any harm, and I truly regret that we have come to this point.”
“I firmly believe in the right to freedom of speech and expression. I have always taught you to be unafraid of who you are and to be unafraid to express your beliefs. Anyone who has ever been in my classroom knows that when we have disagreements we are expected to talk through them, and work out our differences in a civilized and calm manner.”
“Because I have always encouraged you to resolve your differences through conversation, I’m very disturbed by the negative and hateful words and messages that have been directed at Sam Pawlucy. The bullying of Sam — on Facebook, Twitter, or otherwise — has to stop.”
“I hope we can take this whole unfortunate incident, and use it as a lesson in how to agree without being disagreeable. Freedom of speech is everyone’s right. But let’s use it to have discussions that help us to better understand each other, not rip each other apart. I hope we’ve all learned that lesson.”
“The Carroll students that I know have always supported each other, even when they have disagreements. This is a very rough time for Sam, and she needs that support from you now more than ever. Let’s get back to being the school where we care for each other, and where we show up for school on time, in uniform and ready to work!”
“Have a good day, go to all of your classes and get all of your credits now!”
Let me guess, the messages directed at the student are like the ones being sent to Stacey Dash?
OK I missed the majority of it. I watched the first five minutes, then got a phone call that went on forever, and watched Biden, with the TV on mute, pull faces for the rest of the time.
Colour me shocked at her colour. I absolutely hate teachers. I'm so full of the "poor" teachers, not getting payed enough, and the Blood Libel of teachers buying supplies out of their own pockets. It's a bullshit lie, but it's so jammed into our heads day after day that it's a goddam fact. A fact that is not to be questioned. Teachers are the most spoiled, most smug, most self satisfied "professionals" going.
Biden didn't shit on the table or call his boss a "clean" Negro, so he won by a landslide.
It's pretty clear that Biden's objective was to shore up the base. He probably did that. The problem for team Obama is that it is the independents and until-recently-undecideds who are moving to Romney in droves. Biden's performance did nothing to change that.
Early post-debate polls are showing that Ryan was the winner by about 10-15%. That just isn't good enough.
At this point, if Romney pulls down Ohio, he should win the electoral vote. Most polls are showing Romney with a small lead in Ohio. In the past week, Obama has lost Florida, North Carolina and Virginia. He's probably going to lose Colorado and Nevada also.
Sounds like Ryan won the debate. Most of what I've read are comments on how Biden smiled too much and came across as cranky, condescending and disrespectful. Oh well, sorry Obama.

I kind of expected the condescension and rudeness from Biden -- it's just who he is. I really didn't expect him to take it to the extreme that he did, though.
He also didn't say anything about the housing bubble being the source of the financial crisis. Of course, he opposed auditing and regulating FannieMae and FreddieMac. He also voted for the CRA, which was the genesis of the housing bubble.
Biden is a lying sack of shit and there is no way to spin out of that simple fact.
If that were the worst of it. Nothing more intolerant that than the tolerance of do gooders.

Man I hope that doesn't happen. The world does not Obama sticking his nose up the U.N.'s taint for the next thirty years.
I'm really amazed at the common sense on this board. A bunch of porn fans that for all intents and purposes would be considered libs by most can't stand the dems as they exist today. Barry you beat me to it on the comment on Chucks post. I can't for the life of me understand why anyone in their right mind would support Obama.
I've thought that too. I wonder what the percentages of left vs right vs undecided/ apolitical are of members. It'd be interesting to see how closely our population resembles the population in general.
Speaking just for me, the tradition R opposition to porn doesn't bother me. The genie is out of the bottle on that one. Same with my other bugaboo weed. They're both luxury items...entertainment, I guess. And both will be available no matter who's running the show.
I've spent most of my adult life in non profit and I've seen not only the holier than thou attitudes of committed leftists, but the actual damage that do-gooder programs to the people they're claiming to help.

I have no idea why you would associate porn fandom with left-of-center politics. Utah is the reddest of red states, but also has the highest rate of internet porn viewing in the country.
It's the porn stars and executives who constantly bitch about Republicans. I guess they are still having flashbacks to the Meese Commission and Stacy Donovan.
I voted today. There was someone in the parking garage by the stairwell handing out Democratic sample ballots. I used it to see who was endorsed down ballot for judges and school board slots. The place was busy, but efficient. Lots of blacks voting. Democrats will probably do well in Montgomery County, Ohio again this year. I hope the library levy passes, the parks levies always do, so I'm optimistic. I voted for the bar at the end of the street to get a Sunday liquor license, and stopped by there for a Rueben sandwich after I voted.
Hard to take seriously folks who compare Obama supporters to nazi sympathizers, and guys with racist avatars. On a gag factor message board. Hence the .gif.
Elections matter. Why Obama? Many reasons - social issues, Supreme Court, a path for sustainable growth. A foreign policy I can mostly stand behind. Health care reform. We can afford to have a decent array of government services and a safety net. I can't see electing people who dislike government programs to run government programs.
I'll never understand how Boosh got close enough to steal the 2004 election. I was against almost everything he did.
IF I thought Romney/Ryan could get Congress to craft a budget that gave a 20% tax cut across the board, didn't hit the middle class, beefed up military spending, and still addressed the deficit without gutting the safety net and essential services, hell, I'd vote for them. It just doesn't add up, and I defy anyone to show how it can be done.
Not sure who compared Obama supporters to Nazi sympathizers. But that's OK. I don't think I have, but I'm a loose cannon. The Munster stuff is much more relevant. And let's be honest, who can take anybody here seriously with the avatars they have? Including you, Chuck.
I honestly don't give a fuck about Max Hardcore. He skirted the line and got bit. It would be like asking state licensed dispensaries to talk about the Obama DEA.
I'm all for safety nets, but as I've said, we need to have a serious discussion about who is eligible for safety nets and for how long. Until we're able to do that, we're just jacking off.
As for essential services, which ones have only been "essential" since the New Deal? Are free cell phones essential? Will the Union survive without PBS? Oh, I know, it's only a drop in the bucket. They're all just drops. But somehow the bucket is overflowing. That's a lot of drops. So we do nothing. It's just a drop.
A foreign policy that gives the representative of our government in Paris a more substantial security detail than the one in fucking Libya. Do you not think that episode gives our enemies all over the world a hard on?
No, Romney doesn't have all the answers. Not by a long shot. But the fact remains that President Obama has failed. It's time for a new employee.
Chuck is talking about Ohio in 2004. Boosh monkeyed with the electronic vote machines(that the lefties wanted after the hanging chad business) and stole Ohios electoral votes from Kerry.

No you wouldn't. Never. Not ever. Just admit it. Being liberal and mocking Republicans is going to be a lifelong endeavor for you. It's like a religion. Or, maybe an addiction would be the term that suits you better. You've replaced alcoholism with liberalism.
I love the Democrats' denial. No, it could never be that there's a problem with their agenda — the Republicans steal the elections. And therefore, because the Republicans are evil incarnate, all manner of dirty tricks are justified, including the Democrats' well-documented efforts to steal elections back from the Republicans. What a bizarre worldview.

I guess I had kinda heard about that, but I just figured it was sour grapes and no really took it seriously. There's no rhyming slogan about it.
@charin OK. The answer is that W's evil knows no bounds. Next question, Chuck.

We Conservatives don't have to replace one religion/ addiction with another. We can multitask. Our evil knows know bounds. I seriously cannot wait to oppress the poor after it's made legal in January.
What kind of sick fuck says that sort of thing to a 12 year old? The school system released a statement saying she was fired.
Quote:
Mark Belling discussed this story on his radio program yesterday. It’s another tale of a Leftist behaving badly.
The Leftist, a 78-year-old woman, a New Berlin school bus driver, has been harassing a student on her bus route because there’s a Mitt Romney yard sign at his home.
The child attends a Catholic school in New Berlin. He rides a Durham school bus. The company also provides service to the New Berlin public school district.
Belling read a letter from the 12-year-old boy’s mother, detailing the alleged abusive behavior by the bus driver.
Apparently, the Romney-Ryan yard sign bugs the bus driver and she’s been harassing the boy, making rude comments to him related to politics.
When the driver engaged the 12-year-old boy in a political conservation, he responded by saying that Obama is pro-abortion.
The bus driver allegedly said to the child, “Maybe your mom should have chosen abortion for you.”
Understandably, this really upset the boy. Other kids on the bus verified the boy’s account and are providing written statements.
The mom made her son’s school aware of the situation. She also went to Durham School Service in New Berlin and spoke to Michael Bennett, the manager.
Plus they feel a whole lot better coming up with ideas that allow them to feel better about themselves and pat themselves on the back than they do about coming up with ideas that actually solve a problem. Hence ribbons for every fucking disease known to mankind as opposed to actually giving money for research into a cure for them.
Whenever white liberals are about to lose an election they always threaten black riots.
Deep down inside (not all that deep, really), white liberals think of blacks as inferior people, always in need of guidance and "protection".
Liberalism in a nutshell. Except they think everyone but them are inferior and need their help. It's really an offshoot of the coddling the Baby Boomers got. They started the elitist nanny state, but their children have perfected it.
But if Fuzzy G say they gon' riot, they by God they gon' riot. I've got a case of East German surplus rubber tipped bullets for the AK. Between that and the Walking Dead marathon on AMC, I be ready.
It's just like the race card. The riot card has been played so many times it's impossible to take seriously.
Getting off the nation/ Presidential thing for a second. There's a possibility that my state may well be the first to outright legalize pot. I honestly don't know if I'm going to vote for it or not.
There's a 25+% excise tax at every level: manufacturer, wholesale and retail. There is also a thing that's confusing as fuck: apparently if you have a certain level of THC in your system, basically if you smoked a week ago, that you're considered to be impaired to drive. What the shitting fuck?
I mean, this is truly accepting the scraps from Long Shank's table. But on the other hand, it would historic...much like our sad excuse for a POTUS. And I really dump on people who voted for the POTUS for no other reason than his Colour. But it would be historic.
He's also ahead beyond the margin of error in Pennsylvania.
Obama has started running ads in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin. If he has to protect those liberal states at this stage of the game, it's all over and he knows it. His internal poll numbers must look like shit.
He gave up on Virginia, Florida and North Carolina two weeks ago.
Haven't seen any Ohio polls with Romney ahead, but a few showing him close.
On the other hand,Susquehana(sp?) has Romney ahead by 4(49-45) in Pennsylvania.
Heh.
Apparently, the Philly suburbs, which went for Obama big in 2008 are going moving rapidly into the Romney camp this time. That accounts for most of the swing in PA.
People comment on who won the debate Tuesday night, FOUR HOURS before the debate even took place. Finally the last person they showed questioned there being a debate Monday night.
I was trying to tell you that weeks ago.... for every person that thinks their educated and reasoned vote counts there's 15 half-wit mouth breathing skid marked stories of success via our educational system ready to shut you down.
It's ironic that the combined knowledge of Mankind (not Foley) is a click away, and people are getting stupider and stupider. I can't figure out how people can be "undecided". We're bombarded with information. Basic economics isn't rocket science. Business isn't rocket science. Government isn't rocket science. Say what you will about the Tea Party and Occupy movements, but at least they know what's going on. At least they know SOMETHING is going on. Something beyond "he's a nig"..."he's so cool"..."I get my news from the Daily Show". At least Chuck can express his beliefs. Maybe that's the thing that pisses me off. No one has any hard and fast beliefs anymore.
i think its because at the end of the day regardless of whos in charge, the countrys the same as it was with the previous guy.maybe they should let a bitch run the country next election.
I sent in my absentee ballot. For some reason my sister got 2 of them. Good for her. Americans couldn't possibly me much more of a joke. Americans who think politics in their piece of shit country might want to think a little harder when you guys are sending Canadian citizens several valid ballots at once.
The whole 2 party thing is a joke amongst countries with actual democracies.
Family members of mine who don't even pay taxes in your pathetic country get to vote twice. How many times do you get to vote?
Hey Jerky, how are your kids doing? Are of that age where you play "sneaky midnight uncle" with them? Pretty gross but what can I expect for a drug addict who can't keep a girl or family together but on most days posts on a message board at least once an hour. How are your children? It must hard not to have a meth head father in the picture. Are you allowed at parent teacher conferences? I bet that missing tooth makes you look like a loser. Kind of like you are, actually.
The US isn't a democracy it's a constitutionally limited republic. While I'd like to cut the vote away from anyone without skin in the game, people would scream it was racist or something and for some reason being called racist effects some negatively. I believe just eliminating all the get out the vote efforts, early voting, and absentee ballots (except for military personnel) would do almost the same thing.
Grab an atlas an point of a country in western and or northern Europe.
The US is a pathetic nation.
Or if you are able to locate North America. See that BIG country? Yup, the US is a festering bowl of dog snot in comparison. The US is crap compared to african nations like Madagascar...
But why am i even trying to help a guy who would have his shoes pissed on just for looking like shit?
I'm sure you americans are very proud of "black culture"...

Ha, Freudian slip you putting "me" and "joke" in the same sentence.
You know, you piece of nonproductive garbage, worthless leech on society, I love it that you keep prairie dogging here. It shows how caught up in the board you are and that it means sooo much to you don't make the Run Off By Jerkules list. Everyone knows I own you. Everyone knows you are a damaged piece of shit, just trying to makes as many people as possible live in the same misery you reside in every day, before the inevitable happens.
P.S. You have also shown yourself to be stupid as well as a complete pussy, taking a swipe at me in a thread I rarely read or comment in, and not thinking someone would let me know.
there's a certain level of commitment in the hanging process that you have to admire. pills and pistols are painless and quick. life at the end of a diy rope setup is a next level "take that" to the folks you've addressed your note to.
Hangers always have claw marks on their throats. They all change their minds. The point of hanging isn't to strangle, it's for the sudden stop of downward momentum to snap your neck. It's a game of weight and drop distance.
I had 8 different notes written. Manifestos, actually. Vile hatred in 7 of them. Love and appreciation in the last.
I have an issue with hangers.com. They sent me an e-mail that said in big, bold letters: "FREE SHIPPING ON ALL ORDERS!!!" There wasn't any fucking asterisk there that said "Except Hawaii & Alaska (the freak states)." It said ALL orders. I emailed with them back and forth for several days without getting them to ship me anything. Finally I just said fuck it. But I think they ended up changing their ads after that.

You're right,they did.
And intentionally or not, your post is the funniest thing I've read all day.
the voters in the south must really be conflicted.on one hand they can reelect a black president.or they can have the first spic president.i guess the lighter skinned one is the lesser of two evils.
There's Monday Night Football on plus a game 7 MLB playoff. No one is watching this shit. The Benghazi incident is Obama's most glaring failure in foreign policy and it's happening right before the election. Even the somehow miraculous sudden drop in unemployment and gas prices won't be enough to save Obama. And they'll be investigating this administration for years to come.
Cardinals peed on themselves in the third inning and the only reason the Bears aren't leading the Lions by at least four touchdowns is because they are the Bears. This might be the most competitive thing to watch on TV now.
Romney took it easy on Obama from what I'm hearing. I didn't watch it either. Already voted and I don't think this last one is changing anyone's mind. Also hearing Romney was more presidential and Obama whiny and condescending.
While prefacing a question for Mitt Romney about Pakistan during Monday's presidential debate on foreign policy, moderator Bob Schieffer had an unfortunate slip of the tongue, referring to Osama bin Laden as "Obama bin Laden."
Hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. No pony for you!
They need the Boy King to win so badly. I'm loving the fuck out of watching them turn themselves inside out to put the positive spin on every backslide he makes.
Chuckles, where is JetBlue taking you if this thing goes south?
I was looking at a cheap pistol grip mosberg the other day in a pawn shop. the cretin working there told me I should hurry up and buy it before obama gets elected and gun prices double. ........I have no closure to this story.

Same thing here right after the election 4 years ago. All the gloom and doom over gun grabbing Obama. It was hard not to roll my eyes in front of the guy.
Did my voting thing yesterday. Rs down the line, and I voted approve on the legal weed thing. It was a real nose- holder, but a little progress beats no progress. I guess.
Just stop it Chuck. There is no way in hell Ohio is going to see a +8 Dem or better turnout. Most likely it will be like 2004 and be a +4 Rep turnout. Obama is sunk. It's all over but the rioting.
Come on charin. That poll is a piece of shit. I'd rather go with Rasmussen who had the most accurate poll of the 2008 Presidential Election. 48% tied says Raz. PS: That poll came out today.
Christie will be elected President in 2020. Paul Ryan will suffer a heart attack during Romney's second term leading to him not running for the Presidency himself. It's always the fit ones who have sudden health problems, see Jim Fixx.
"Ahmadinejad you want to threaten us? Fuck you, you're done."
Stop with all these garbage polls. Seriously, the 'Time Magazine' poll?
ohh let em have their polls. anyone that bought into the camelot bullshit and beyond is a fucken stooge. even more so today with the bought and paid for media outlets.
I got caught up in Christie highlight clips on YouTube for quite a while today. I don't know if anyone would be interested, but there are a couple clips of him owning the fuck outta teachers.
You ever pay any attention to how many people these polls actually poll ? Usually around a thousand. No way they can be very accurate. It's close but much to my chagrin I think free shit, women believing they are victims and check drawers wanting free shit and to believe they are victims will win out. The Obama presidency is based on more lies than any I can remember in my 58 years on Earth. History will look back on this as one of the "blackest" eras [no pun intended] in U.S. politics. Obama has taken to openly calling Romney names now such as bullshitter and using epithets such as Romnesia. Low class scum would fit Obama better. Between kissing ass in the mideast and fucking the American people and the constitution in the ass it's no wonder he has no time to prepare a speech and has to use a teleprompter. He's a real PIECE OF SHIT !

Please, little baby Jesus, let there be rioting. No better tv than watching malcontents mowed down like a bad neighbour's overgrown lawn. Mowed down by high tech non- lethal means, of course.
It might. White guy drives his Winebago into a CVS in anger vs. minorities rioting all over the place. When he does the perp walk for the nightly news he'll be screaming "It's Boosh's fault."
First Larry O'Donnell, then Shultze I think(just to prove no one can out-retard him).
Speaking of retards, Howard was pretty funny this week remarking on Coulter's calling Obama one; how it's going to hurt Mitt because Obama is surging with the retard vote.
Nothing funnier than watching the American public dance to the strings of a system that was set up for failure. If someone put a gun to my fucking head and forced me to vote, I'd go with the Independant candidate, although, cynical as I am, I probably don't trust whichever suited asshole is representing that party. The White House and Congress are eternally corrupt. Aren't we all just looking out for ourselves, anyway?
Still, it is misinformed to refer to Ohio as a toss-up. Mr. Obama is the favorite there, and because of Ohio’s central position in the Electoral College, he is therefore the overall favorite in the election.
RCP polls, no recent poll shows Romney up in Ohio. Obama up 2.3 on average.
Oh boo hoo. So Ann Coulter bashed retards by comparing them to monkey boy Obama. Fräulein Coulter isn't saying anything shocking to anyone supportive of a Romney/Mormon/Aryan new world order. In a war between retards and monkeys and white men, the white man will win 9 out of 10 times. So bring it you brown honey boo boo bitches!
My suggestion to Romney...Change the mattresses before you move into the White House. There's no telling what diseases this chimpanzee Obama might leave behind.
God only knows what that jungle bunny Obama, his horse face shemale wife and their two brown brats have been doing in the White House. Even the fucking dog is black. The White House chef probably has 3rd degree burns over half his face and hands from making fried chicken every fucking night.
Rasmussen is a republican pollster but he is still pretty darn accurate. More so than nate silver I'd say.
Got to admit I'd prefer a more libertarian/republican candidate than Romney but watching the 40 year progressive paradise drop into the toilet after one mediocre term is going to be freaking sweet.

Nate Silver is a Jew wigger who kisses Obama ass crack every chance he gets.
Don't worry about Romney. He's sixth generation Mormon so he's got 150 plus years of undiluted Aryan blood in his veins.
If one of those black orangutans tried to take my Romney 4 Emperor sign, I'd fill his behind with buckshot and send him flying faster than the spinning rims on his niggermobile.
That's weird how the last Job's report forgot to include California and ended up showing a big drop in jobless claims. They never corrected it either. And this Friday's jobs report might have to be "delayed" because of a big, bad storm. Such strange timing. I'm sure an outraged media will investigate these shenanigans. Just like they're holding Obama's feet to the fire on the preventable tragedy that unfolded in Benghazi, Libya.
Also weird and strange was when Obama flat out lied during the debate about calling Benghazi a terrorist attack, was called on it by Romney and then blurted out, "Check the transcript. Check the transcript." After which the moderator, Candy Crowley (who conveniently had a transcript handy) also flat out lied in support of Obama's lie. It almost seems like objective journalists would have a problem with all of that.
And now they're floating stories in all the liberal newspapers about how this storm might require them to somehow delay the election. They will go to ANY length to try to get this motherfucker reelected.
Hurricane Sandy is single handedly knocking out the grease ball Jersey Shore Italian demographic and the Newark negros. Come election day the wops and jigaboos will be too occupied with drying out their hair salons to actually go vote. New Jersey might actually end up siding with the crazy Mormon bastard thanks to a bitch named Sandy.

You really don't get how hilarious being called out as a hater by Jigaloo is, do you?
You just insist on spewing your shite. Fine, carry on.

Not that I can't appreciate a good one but the key words there are a good one. This one would get faceraped by a small part of a piece of furniture and Eric's ex's cat.
Since Oregon maybe swinging Romney's way, the AFL-CIO felt it necessary to send out a mailer to some residents. That's some mighty subtle intimidation there.

What the fuck are you talking about Oregon as a battleground state? I don't know what's more embarrassing, your homosexual Tim Tebow avatar or your suggesting Romney should waste assets on Oregon.
Obama has been having to spend a great deal of money in Oregon lately not to fend off Romney, but the liberals switching to the Libertarian candidate promising legalized pot. I don't know what's more embarrassing your homosexual lusting for Tim Tebow, or your ill informed opinion.
As long as you have Tebow as your avatar, you got nothing to talk about you ignorant sperm burper.
Now the ignorant douche bag is desperately trying to cover for his very wrong opinion. Now get back to work, time to fill your pockets with singles and your stomach with semen.
Oregon? If Obama is dumping money into Oregon he's lost the election.
He's been dumping money into Minnesota, Michigan and Pennsylvania instead of Virginia and Florida. His internal poll numbers have to look like shit if he's trying to defend Minny, Mich and PA less than a week before the election. He's fucked and he knows it.
It's these Bible thumping inbred Southern closeted homosexuals like have2clits who whack off to pictures of Tim Teblow all day long that ruin the Republican Party for the rest of us. These faggots would elect Joel Osteen President if they could.
Another example of a stupid fucking colostomy bag who doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. Are you sure not a liberal? You're as poorly informed as one.
How is your voting history a "public record"? Maybe that you're on the rolls, but not what your vote is. But I guess unions aren't in the business of truth.
Unions are in the business of lawless intimidation. They couldn't survive without it.
Relax. First thing Mitt will do is get rid of the unions. Offer those overpaid underworked bitches (including teachers, police, firemen, etc.) their jobs back for $10 an hour. If they don't like it, then fuck 'em. We're going to get rid of unemployment benefits too. So their choice will be simple. Work for a lower wage or starve.
At this point, I don't care how we win, whether we do it by outspending the other side, stuffing the ballot box or with a little help from a natural disaster (proving once again that God is a Republican), that filthy negro bastard Obama needs to be voted out.
Romney is going to win in a landslide. He's got the Mormon Mafia Machine behind him. These people are awesome. They vote once in their home state, then jump in a bus head to a battleground state, reregister there and vote again!
"It is no secret that Glenn Beck believes that Mitt Romney is a George Washington/Abraham Lincoln type figure running a campaign that is being guided by God so the world will know that He is in charge.
And that is why Beck is so confident that Romney is going to win this election, as he explained his theory yesterday that any poll showing that Romney and President Obama are tied in any state really means that Romney will win that state by three to six points, resulting in a landslide electoral vote victory of 321-217 for Romney, which "would be a mandate [and] a giant, giant spanking."
As for Biden, he really is the gift that keeps giving. But I'd imagine they're all getting pretty loopy at this point.
The stormfront poll is surprising. For the most part they think all politicians are pawns of their Jew overlords.
If the Boy King pulls it off it'll be a squeaker. And it won't win without the help of the courts. If Romney wins, it'll be by a significant margin. No idea which way it'll go.
Am I the only one that thinks the African Prince seems sort of peeved at having to ask to be re- elected? After a lifetime of being told how special it is, it just can't seem to understand why a good portion of folks think it needs to get it's speaking tour on.
The first video - he wouldn't have fooled me, I know Obama did these things, and I oppose them. Romney would be the same or worse on these issues. I don't know if we will ever have a President who will give up power when it comes to terrorism. Even immoral, illegal power.
I agree with the third party candidate sentiments. I would vote Green Party if I wasn't in Ohio, like he says. I wish we had instant run-off elections and public financing. And the Presidential Debate Commission is a joke.
Bill Maher says: If you're thinking about voting for Mitt Romney, I would like to make this one plea: black people know who you are and they will come after you."
We only need this win as a bridge to Jeb Bush in 2016 or 2020. All of the important decisions (Supreme Court appointments, the abortion issue, nuking Iran, etc.) can wait until then.
Looks like the fucking storm has increased support for Obama. Fucking cunts.
Bull shit. Sandy was a gift from Baby Jesus to the GOP. She wiped out only predominantly liberal districts. It was like God performed a tactical surgical strike to gut those liberal bastards and punish them for murdering the unborn.
Talked to some people on a doper forum this weekend about the weed legalization in Washington. Polling is running high 50s to low 60s percent for legalizing. It sounds like a pretty done deal. Hooray, I guess.
I wouldn't get your hopes up. The proper with marijuana legalization referendums is that all the people supporting them are too busy eating Cheetohs and watching The Cartoon Network to actually go out and vote.
There was an idea floating about a while back that Obama might decriminalize marijuana right before the election to try to bring out the youth vote. It's basically legal up here in Alaska as long as you're chilling at home.
My nephew and a few friends got so high in the garage the other day that one of them freaked out and they called 911. My sister let the cops in and then the EMT paramedics came and the cops actually checked the weed out and gave it the thumbs up:
"See those red hairs? That means it's the good shit! You can't OD on good marijuana, so just always use the same dealer. Don't ever use Spice or bath salts. Only smoke at home. Tell your mom everything. BTW, we have some Doritos in the car if you have the munchies. And you should give the rest of the weed to your mom as a finder's fee for dealing with the situation."
I wouldn't get your hopes up. The proper with marijuana legalization referendums is that all the people supporting them are too busy eating Cheetohs and watching The Cartoon Network to actually go out and vote.
That's just a wive's tale. The fact is that people have been fed 75 years of propaganda. Even when boomer's kids started hitting their tenns, the argeument changed to the weed "you were smoking was 100 times less powerful than what your kids are smoking". And boomers, being idiots, bought it.
10+ years of medical being allowed hasn't caused the world to end and the rest of the country is starting to see that.

"The Sixth of November
Remember, remember, this sixth of November, The radicals’ treasonous plot. I know of no reason the radicals’ treason Should e’er be forgiv’n or forgot.
The Sixties were waning, and Leftists were claiming That radical changes were due. Their Marxist solution was armed revolution: The Weathermen made their debut.
The radicals raged on the national stage, and Horrific explosions ensued. Their bombs were dramatic, but also erratic; They sometimes killed radicals, too.
The Leftists grew older, the underground, colder, And so they came in from the cold. “Subvert from within – in the long run, we’ll win,” said The Leftists, determined and bold.
And thus it began – this nefarious plan – and The radicals slowly took charge: Complete infiltration of all education; The long institutional march.
The journalist schools would produce useful fools, for The Left would need media shills. And Hollywood, too, would assist in the coup, with Its slick propagandizing skills.
“Community action” would build a new faction; ’Twould organize proles on the street. A smooth politician would front for the mission, And run for the president’s seat.
The radicals’ goal, which they proudly extol, is A communist U.S. of A. Collectivist schemes lead to brutal regimes, and For this do the radicals pray.
But Jefferson’s aim, with the charters he framed, was To guard individual rights. And “redistribution” was not a solution, But one of the evils to fight.
So let us remember, this sixth of November, Just what is at stake on this date. Will Jefferson’s dream, or the radicals’ scheme, now Determine America’s fate?"
It's going to be fun watching BSNBC on Tuesday night.
Chuck must feel a real sense of comradeship being among the like minded supporters of Obama such as brutal communist dictators Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. Islamists like this Turabi and Iranian genocidist Mamook Amadinnerjacket. As well as Chuck's American contemporaries like Honey Boo Boo Child.
Obama also took a campaign donation from Osama Bin Laden from a ip address in Pakistan with a listed occupation of "ex-Al Quaida Leader." I believe they listed the address as being Abbottabad, CA with an zipcode of 91101.

I've known one serious pothead in my life (well, one that I know of, I'm sure there are a lot more that I don't). When sober he was a mathematics and engineering whiz, a complete brainiac. When stoned you could put his car keys in plain sight on a coffee table a foot and a half in front of his eyes and it would take two hours for him to find them. Not scientific evidence but I always put more weight into past real life experience than I do from scientific or medical book theory.
Alex, you understand redistribution of wealth don't you? Obammy is going to personally come into your house, take all your food and coupons and trinkets and give them to other people.
Homeless people will have your rectal thermometers and Whopper coupons for free.

Can't vote w/ a green card Alex you gotta be a citizen.
Do they still have practice voting in Brighton Beach? They used to set shit up just like voting booths so people would know what to do when they became citizens.
The 2 things most looked forward to things about becoming a citizen were voting and being able to go to the Motherland for an extended vacation, usually a month or 2. I'd see people's eyes light up talking about home and visiting with people they hadn't seen in 10 years.
Anyway, today is the day. One group pops corks, and the other gets butthurt. My money is on the spook.
Alex you do have to register in advance to vote. Just showing up doesn't work. Often when you get or renew or change the address on your picture ID there is a box to check to register to vote.

It said at least 25 days ahead. I thought I could just show up, put the check sign next to Obama, get the fuck out and buy some Kennedy Fried Chicken.
I live in the shit hole known as Sacramento, CA. All the Mormons here are voting in person in California AND doing mail in ballots to Nevada. Why suppress negro and brown person vote when you can just stuff the ballot?
It's bullshit that all you hear about is "voter suppression" against Democrats. What about all the things Republicans have to endure? First you've got the negros, most of whom smell like zoo animals, in line to cast ballots for continuing welfare checks. Then, you've got the fresh off the boat chinks in line - how do these people even have citizenship? - speaking their ching chong language on their cell phones with the stupidest ring tones imaginable. You've got homos making out in line, wetbacks eating bean burritos farting all over the place and then - when you finally get to the front of the line - you've got some old stoner hippie in a tie dyed shirt with his hair in a fucking pony tail directing you to a polling booth that smells like a diaper changing station. The pen they give you probably has ebola virus on it from all the monkeys who touched it before you. All of this goes unreported but despite all this Mitt will still win.
Great. I fucked up. I uploaded my two required files and then read the next line in the instructions that said I have to complete the Voter Certificate and Identificstion page. Except I didn't get one of them. The 2nd required file labelled "Affidavit" was apparently that form. I was supposed to fill it out, sign it, rename it and upload it otherwise it won't count. I uploaded the unsigned document and I can't go back and change it. Grrrrr!
And they won't count my vote if I go in and switch it to the fax in or mail in option. So, I effectively just threw my vote away. I have an email into the nationwide online voting center, but I don't they can fix this. So somebody out there please vote for Romney twice.
I am a citizen, but don't people have to register in advance for voting, or can I just show up at the voting site with my passport?
Sounds like you are saying it didn't have one for the last 4 years.
Just imagine how many more lavish vacations, rounds of golf and appearances on The View this coke head will have when he doesn't have to worry about another election.
Anyone who votes for this guy is as dumb as the chair they are sitting on

The dumb ones are the ones that are voting for Romney, who does not give a fuck about America; only for tax cuts for himself and his rich friends. The bastard said himself that he does not gives a hoot about 47% of America. You gotta be either rich or dumb to vote for Romney, and half of America is dumb bunch of motherfuckers.

Jesse Jackson Jr. won re-election to Illinois' 2nd Congressional district by a landslide Tuesday night, beating his two opponents, Marcus Lewis and Brian Woodwoorth.
As of 8:50 p.m., Jackson had captured 68 percent of the vote with 62 percent of precincts reporting.
"My deep and sincere thanks to the people of the 2nd Congressional District, I am humbled and moved by the support shown today," Jackson said in a written statement. "Everyday, I think about your needs and concerns. Once the Doctors approve my return to work, I will continue to be the progressive fighter you have known for years. My family and I are grateful for your many heartfelt prayers and kind thoughts. I continue to feel better everyday and look forward to serving you."

Yes, because Obama has shown so much love for the US of A. With his friendship to Rev Wright and Bill Ayres, to his wife never being proud of the country, and wondering what all the fuss was over a flag. Of course, let's not forget all the people he gravitated to while growing up who proclaimed their desire to see Capitalism fall. And you can see how much good he did for it by setting record debt numbers, increasing the unemployment and food stamp collectors. And let's not forget the whole credit downgrade. Yep, good ole' Barry Sortero sure did a lot to help Americans
Well it is official, 4 more years of the schvoogie. We'll see what he can do with 4 years where he don't have to pander worrying about re election.
Chris Christie in 2016. Call yer bookies. Watch the YouTube clips and tell me he won't make the empty suits next to him look like fools during primary debates. North East, Dago, fatty will be 45th POTUS.

You thought she walk all jankity befo....SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! Michelle gonna be wore the fuck out tomorrow. Bitch gettin some 2 TERM nigga dick tonight.
Nation building: A euphemism for imperial occupation and unimaginable devastation. Over one million dead and millions more injured and displaced. Thanks for your courage and grit! Someone hand this shitbag a Nobel! “We have given Iraqis a chance to shape their own future!” You fucking asshole. It’s a smooth talking public relations pile of horse shit. A re-branding as fucking useless as a transition from republican to democrat. The song remains the same: War is peace and blood glistens on a thermite dusted peace prize. A standing ovation from a previous administration

Four more years of economic misery. The people of Ohio have spoken for everybody and chosen impoverishment. Get your guns and ammo. Stash em in a safe place and get ready to fake the break and theft of them so when the feds come knocking looking to collect them from you, you won't have to surrender them.

So you are saying pandering to people that enjoy blunt reality instead of mealy mouthed politician talk is a bad thing?
He has done a good job in Jersey so far. Capped property tax increases, forced tough cuts in the budget, stood up to the teachers union, saved us from that tunnel money pit, wasn't afraid to reach across party lines and work with Obama the past week. What more could you want in a Governor? Vouchers for hookers?
People of Ohio chose the guy that saved their jobs rather than Mr. Outsource and Hide Profits Offshore, stunning.
You still got the Thunder to root for, have2.
You mean the guy who stole thousands of retirees pensions, who worked for Delphi, whose only sin was not being union? The boom in Ohio is from natural gas fracking. Too bad that will go away along with Virginia's coal mining industry. The EPA have a ton of new regulations ready that will effectively kill both. Now that Obama can be more "flexible", he may be able to take away my Thunder, but he can never do something truly awful like make me a Jets fan.
As for Christie winning in 2016, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Two RINO's in a row and two losses in a row equals not much chance the more conservative members of the party will even vote Republican, if they keep the party together at all.
I don't know this RINO you speak of. Explian. Wait, Republican In Name Only? Romney is a tool, fuck him. How is McCain not a real Republican?
If they can get the more conservative people out of the party and bring it more towards the center, then they should be able to get voters to cross party lines and actually win an election.
If the party straight up fractured into a Kook Party and a Republican Party, it would be the best thing for all of us.
They have been bringing it more towards the center and these are the results. Two moderates and two defeats. Romney lost because he couldn't get the more conservative members of the party out to vote in sufficient quantities. You can put them down all you want but conservatives outnumber liberals in this country 2 to 1. It's either going to be a real conservative next time or a party split.
If there is such a high # of ultra conservative kooks in this country, then the GOP should have had a Kook candidate, slammin the bible at stump speeches, going on and on about how we could have a nigra running the country.
The truth is the bible thumping loons are a small percent that GOP candidates have to pander to to raise money, thus cutting their own throats by alienating Moderate Liberals that would cross party lines to vote for them.
And you pulled a good Tritone by ignoring my question: How is McCain not a real Republican? When you hide yer face, you show yer ass.
Bitch please. McCain is a moderate like Romney and Christie. A part of the establishment of the party that picks and chooses who gets to run and win. Pick Christie and it's another loss. It is estimated that in the 2008 election, 30 million evangelical Christians stayed home on voting day and Obama won the election by 10 million votes. keep them home if you want, but don't come crying to me if you're paying eight dollars a gallon for gas or can't get in to see a doctor because all the waiting rooms are filled with dead beats.
All Government employees should realize that the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service. It has its distinct and insurmountable limitations when applied to public personnel management. The very nature and purposes of Government make it impossible for administrative officials to represent fully or to bind the employer in mutual discussions with Government employee organizations. The employer is the whole people, who speak by means of laws enacted by their representatives in Congress. Accordingly, administrative officials and employees alike are governed and guided, and in many instances restricted, by laws which establish policies, procedures, or rules in personnel matters.
Dude, if they are evangelical christians, before they are AMERICANS, then FUCK THEM. If they are so hardcore loonie that they can't vote for the lesser 2 evils in order to further their vision of what the country should be, then they should all die in there fucking sleep.
THEY ARE WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. Republican party aint no Jeebus party. GOP is the party of less government in my life, as opposed to Dem "nanny state". Those FUCKING LUNATICS will not be happy unless the GOP becomes the "government shoves the bible down yer throat at every turn" party. FUCK THAT.
And those fucking mental patients will NEEEEVER leave the Republican party, because if they did they would never be paid attention to again on a national stage.
I would like to add that if anyone out there is a Republican before you are an American or a Democrat before you are an American, then you are truly a fucking asshole that is too stupid to deserve the privilege of voting.
McCain, as badly as he was trounced, got more votes in 2008 than Obama got in 2012. Romney is 2012 got less than both. Obama received nearly 10 million fewer votes in this election than in the last.
This map from the New York Times shows that most of the country moved to the right last night, but enthusiasm for Romney was so low that he couldn't overcome a wounded Obama.
Do you really think that a national election can be won with out getting people to cross party lines while voting?
Do you think that the Evangelical Kooks didn't vote in primaries?
Do you actually think a Caribou Barbie/Joel Osteen type of ticket has a chance of getting anything besides laughed out of the room? Maybe not Caribou Barbie, how about that Bachman dunce that thinks you can Pray Away the Gay.
I do find it funny that yesterday Romney was sliced bread, pussy and the Polio vaccine all rolled into one, and now he is what is wrong with the GOP.
Good luck with the Thunder, I'll be rooting for them to win, unless they are playing Brooklyn.
Anyway, on to other matters. I got Christie for the GOP, who the Dems gonna put up to ride Obammy's coattails w/ the economy on the upswing? The cycle should be coming out of the trough 2014-15, unless Qualitative Easing bites us in the ass.
Looking over their 2016 GOP odds http://www.oddschecker.com/specials/poli...lican-candidate, I tell ya, I am liking the sound of a Christie/Condoleeza ticket. She has the foreign relations experience that he would need in a VP, and would draw in spook voters that are sad they got no Obama left to vote for. After 8 years w/ GWB, she can be labeled a Washington Insider, which the Big Guy would need. Yep, this is the ticket I'll go with, unless a tenured Mid West congressperson, that aint a bible kook, jumps out at me.

Our economic problems aren't related to a typical business cycle. What we had in 2008/09 was a full-blown financial meltdown. You can't count on a cyclical upswing any time in the next four years. Frankly, I don't think Obama cares about economic growth. He wants to socialize the U.S. That is his sole agenda.
It's Quantitative Easing, by the way. After three rounds and more to come, I'd say it has already bitten us in the ass.
Christie in 2016 equals another Democrat president. The economy isn't going to recover because it can't with a trillion new regulations choking down small businesses. Europe is headed for another recession and we will follow. In a two choice system Romney was the best choice, especially economically, he just wasn't good enough to get the more conservative Republicans out to vote for him. Republicans need a candidate that can bridge the gap between fiscal and social conservatives. Despite what the main stream media has beaten into your mind there are people out there that live their lives as christian social conservatives that have no intention of shoving their beliefs down your throat.
Thank you for the clarification on the name of the policy.
Isn't hyper inflation the biting in the ass that could come?
Yes. We are already seeing commodity inflation. If you've been to a supermarket lately, you already know that. So far, we haven't seen the price/wage death spiral variety of inflation, that is only because wages are depressed and productivity has been more or less increasing. At some point, inflation will be an enormous problem. You can't just keep printing money with no long-term consequences.
After my initial response to your question, I came across this article on Zero Hedge. You might find it interesting.
Last night was an anomaly, just a minor bump in the road on our way to reclaiming our country. The good news is that when all the dust settles Jeb Bush will be our candidate in 2016. If you think overwise, consider the alternatives:
(1) Chris Christie - Obese fucker who still managed to bend over backwards to kiss Obama's black ass. 5% chance of being nominated.
(2) Paul Ryan - The female version of Sarah Palin, this ignorant dipshit couldn't even handle Joe Biden in a debate. That said, I still get wet in the panties just thinking about him. 10% chance of being nominated.
(3) Donald Trump - Living proof of a correlation between Alzheimers and hair loss, this fucker will still be looking for Obama's birth certificate four years from now. 15% chance of being nominated.
(4) Marco Rubio - A Telemundo watching Caribbean wetback who can't even read a fucking teleprompter and who secretly worships Fidel Castro. 20% chance of being nominated.
Jeb Bush and preferably Grover Norquist as his VP returns America to where it needs to be - back to the glory days of 2000-2008, which from an economic standpoint was the most successful decade of the 21st century.
Then you will have 30 million independent and moderate voters voting for the Democratic candidate. Demographically the religious right is shrinking with every election while the Hispanic block is increasing. Meanwhile the GOP does everything they can to pander to the shrinking block and piss off the growing one. Until they reverse this they are going to lose every election no matter who runs for them. It's not as much of a loss to have 30 million people who normally vote for you stay at home as it is to have 30 million people who would normally vote for you vote for the other guy instead.
As for 2016 the Republican party leadership will have Mt. Rushmore sized rocks in their head if the ticket is anything besides Christie/Rubio. I haven't the faintest clue who the Democrats will run. If Obamacare ends up being the fuck up it should be it won't matter.

I think you suffer from Jerky's disease and think if a candidate is appealing to the evangelical group that automatically makes him unappealing to the others. There are ways to bridge the gap. Go ahead and put Christie up, but it's been two moderate establishment republicans running with two more conservative VP picks and two losses so far.
@Nitneliun: I haven't paid attention at the grocery store as much as the feed store (too many items). Bag of horse feed that was $12.99 in 2005 is now $18.99. I'll check out that article in a little bit. Thanks.
@Cody: You blow any validity your post may have had by including Trump. He is a blow hard attention whore and would have his life crumble if actually subjected to a full vetting by the media.
@TUP: I just don't know about Rubio. Mostly it is my gut feeling that anything/anyone out of Florida is shady as hell.
@Doctor Boris: You wish that squirrelly Jew had a set of bolt ons and would let you suck his cock.
@have2cit: Please give us an example of what an acceptable 2016 GOP ticket would be to you. You can just throw out a couple names, bullet points on why they are electable are not needed. Thank you.

JFC! The election was just yesterday. That's like talking about the playoffs two games into the preseason.
I know I've expressed something close to a man-on-man erotic crush on Paul Ryan. And while he's still the only Republican politician I'd consider pumping iron with dressed only in our underwear, I realize the time has come to probably move on. What I really need now is a token minority who can fool the brown masses into following him and who can sweep me off my feet, at least until I come to my senses, since I'm not really into the whole interracial thing. So, for what it's worth, here's what Rubio had to say today: ________________________________________________________________
Senator Rubio released the following statement about the presidential election:
"It has been a privilege campaigning for Mitt Romney, getting to know him and traveling throughout the country on his behalf. When future generations look back on this election, I am proud they will count me among those who chose a path of limited government and free enterprise at a critical crossroads in our history. I am proud to have cast my vote for Mitt Romney.
"Now comes the hard part. America faces monumental challenges in putting people back to work, reducing our crushing debt and advancing our interests around the world.
"In the next Congress, I am committed to working on upward mobility policies that will ensure people who work hard and play by the rules can rise above the circumstances of their birth and leave their children better off. The conservative movement should have particular appeal to people in minority and immigrant communities who are trying to make it, and Republicans need to work harder than ever to communicate our beliefs to them. I look forward to working on these goals with my new and returning colleagues in Congress and hope the President will get behind our efforts." ________________________________________________________________
Does that have the potential to make me wet in the panties the way Paul Ryan has? Sure, but I'm still keeping my options open.
And personally pieces of shit like like charin can have the Country. I'm highly skilled and very well paid. I also work for a global corporation. I'm able to split as soon as an opportunity arises.
charin can have the USA with all the public assistance he can get. lol.
The Karl Rove meltdown on Faux was sweet, think of the million$ pissed away
Not as bad as the trillions the nagger in the White House has.
I hope you burn all the history books, because you're going to have a hard time explaining to your kids why you voted for the idiot who set the US on the road to Third World status

No it is not. It is like handicapping the Kentucky Derby based breeding and a race as a 2 year old. The next wave of party leaders are given the stage at the conventions, and exposure while campaigning for their guy. Obama went from stirring speech at the Kerry convention to 2 terms at the White House. POTUS is probably the longest he has ever held a job, no pun intended. Bobby Jindal crashed his shot at being the GOP's Great Dark Hope the night of Obama's first State of the Union speech. It is never too early to speculate. This is the new USA, the campaigning never stops.
Your real answer is that there is no one qualified or electable out of the GOP Kook Kamp, because they are nothing more than a vocal minority in the grand scheme of things.
No one was talking about Hussein in November of 2004. They were talking about the establishment, Shillary, like you're talking about Christie. Of course any Republican will have to be what they appear to be because the leftist hate grinder media will investigate them.
The two wars being bungled will always be Boosh's fault. Same with the fucked up tax cuts for the rich that helped give us the debt. The Boosh Recession will always be, duh, Boosh's fault.
If by things, you mean, economic recovery and restoration, that is Obama and the Congress. Obama took on responsibility for avoiding total economic collapse, ending the wars, and getting us headed in the right direction. He has failed to get Congress to end the tax cuts for the rich. I wish recovery, especially job creation, was faster.
The bullshit in the Patriot Act was Boosh's fault, along with Congress. But Obama is just as bad, he now owns it. He owns the killer drones.

I hope Gary Johnson stays busy and visible the next 4 years, runs as a Libertarian , and steals votes from both parties in 2016. I am getting tired of my (mostly left) political friends painting him as a nut. He was a fucking two term governor. My more right leaning american buds (who are more Goldwaterish) do not give a flying fuck about what gay people do and most of them like to smoke the occasional joint. I can't see them comfortably voting for a social conservative no-how.

So say we're in in 2016, the economy has gotten worse, more people on public assistance, the deficit has continued to increase greatly, the nation hasn't healed but is even more divided and pretty much imploded. Things like that. Is this still Bush's fault or will it be Obama's fault?
@Jig I said Obama and the Congress are responsible for the recovery.
What fucking recovery you're talking about? The only reason to vote for Obama is because of how much worse romney would have been, the enemy of my enemy is NOT my friend. Are you really proud of another empty suit corporate shill congenital liar? I had a perverse wish that Romney would have won just so people could see how far down the shitter it would go in 4 years so maybe, just maybe it could be the nail in the coffin of the republican party. The dems are only a few small levels less revolting....the only thing making them look any better has just been the far more ridiculous levels the republicans manage to move to the right every year.

I voted for Johnson on Tuesday and he has my vote in 2016 - even if I have to write his name on the ballot. In terms of raw numbers, no libertarian candidate has matched Johnson.
I'm not getting how a guy who has so far in one term as governor has suspended the Council on Affordable Housing for 90 days with the goal of dismantling it, abolished the New Jersey Department of the Public Advocate and the Office of the Child Advocate, used line item vetos to eliminate almost a billion dollars from the state budget, took on the state's teacher union, signed a tax cut that reduced funding of Temporary Disability Insurance by 190 million per year while reducing the payroll deduction of most employees by over half, vetoed a bill allowing same sex marriage, and met with Netanyahu is considered to be a moderate Republican. The guy is at least as far to the right as Reagan.
I love how the loons are using Christie thanking Obama for his help as an excuse for losing, but if they had a clue they would have realized Romney was an unelectable tool 4years ago and not paid attention to him this time around.
It comes down to three things for the more conservative Republicans really, gun control, illegal immigration, and global warming. On those issues they see him as a moderate.
California is the inevitable end of the modern progressive agenda and it is fucking ugly. The garbage piles up on the streets. Theft is rampant, particularly of copper wire, so much so that the native white and Hispanic farmers are building armories. No one speaks English. The Food 4 Less runs on food stamps.

No kidding. It's hilarious to read the rants of my liberal cohorts praising him post-Sandy. Months ago, they were calling him a fat fuck among other things..

What Christie? He is a Catholic and a Guinea, that is why the kooks won't support him.
anyone notice how little attention has been paid to Biden?. you hear and see Romney/Ryan and Obama everywhere but smokin joe is in absolute stealth mode.
“Be extremely subtle even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent s fate.” Sun Tzu
I tell ya, I like Biden. I called him as Barry O's running mate as soon as Barry got the nod in 04. He was the perfect running mate for a DC noob.
You know damn well if you had a case of beer, Biden is the one of the 4 you would invite over to shoot the shit with.
That said, his only chance in 2016 is if the Repubs take have2's advice and put up a Gingrich/Bachman kook ticket. The NY money will keep him from getting the nomination anyway. Hillary or Cuomo. Cuomo's family skeletons should be enough generations back that they won't effect him running. His father never sought national office for a reason......

Biden is a bad motherfucker...no doubt. sure Ted Kennedy has the most documented kills but I bet joe has way better stories. It wouldn't surprise me if he dinged Hillary back in the day.
I don't know. Joe could pull better trim than Hillary. Only way I could see it happening is if he was liquored up and she offered to blow him to get his vote on something in the Senate. Outside shot that he tapped it just to beat his chest and talk about how tough he is in the Senate locker room.
The name Kennedy brings up an intriguing question: Should Cuomo run in the Dem primaries, do the Kennedys help, after he outted his ex as nothing more than another philandering member of the clan?
California is the Dem model in action. High taxes, liberal and incompetent government, crumbling infrastructure, the welfare/entitlement coalition calling the shots and parasitical brown people sucking up the fruits of the labor of productive, hard-working people. It's what Obama wants the rest of the country to look like.
^^^ That was pretty good, actually. I can't figure out why, but this election shit really isn't bothering me at all.
Let me follow myself up. Almost all of my friends are liberal. I have family members who are liberal. People I love and care about are liberal Democrats. Basically, none of them are gloating over this election. I'm fine with maybe checking myself out on politics for the next 4 years and saying, "OK, you guys deal with all of this shit for a while and tell me how it goes and get back to me. You won."

With Uncle Ted dead, I don't think he has to worry.
I hated his father, but Evil Eyes has been doing a pretty good job so far, and not just on the hurricane mess.
Under the right circumstances, Marco Rubio - surrounded by caucasian Alpha Male advisers to continually remind him who's really in charge - might be acceptable President in 2016.
Food Stamps are now $100 more per month per person. Thanks Obama, keep that aid rollin'.
That's a great attitude.
Yeah, grandma and grandpa can now buy by $200 more worth of food per month now. Cheetos, Doritos, french fries, roasted chickens, ice cream, candy bars; you name it, its now possible with $200 of food stamps (fund stemps).
And how much of those Cheetos, Doritos, french fries, roasted chickens, ice cream, candy bars; you name it do they eat and how much do you eat or take?

Barry, you need to get a mold of that. You know damn well Barack O' Bonga would be a hot seller.
A mold of what?
I'm bummed I didn't get an Obama mask from the Halloween store before the closed.
I wonder how BO will handle his new problems in the Democrat strongholds of Washington and Colorado. Hell, dealing weed in high school is the only job he's ever had.
As for the election, no one has anything to be proud of. An uninformed apathetic electorate. A cheerleading and covering up media. A celebrity obsessed culture that thinks the government is a candy dispensing reality show. White guilt and the cynical race hustlers know how to produce and harness it. Threats of mob violence, which equals "democracy" when we're talking Arabs. How could this have ended any other way? No. There's nothing to be proud of in this episode. History will not judge us well.
You never curse the Darkness. You simply provide the Light.

That is pretty cool. I did stumble on this. $42, reputable manufacturer. Haven't looked up shipping. It'll be a killer, tho. Might be a fun investment.

First "shite", now "grok". Good for you, homes.
You're absolutely right. How foolish of me. It was a mandate from the American people. The media says so.

Carry on all you want. You really haven't a capitalist outlook if it fails to recognize a market because it's populated by darkies.
I'm all for perpetuating tin ceilings and "Toura-Loura-Loura." The fact is: If we want to maintain a shred of our culture, we're going to have to recognize theirs.
Do the math. I'd rather encourage blacks to adopt the classic "american" business model than have 'em revolt with the support of every disaffected white group.

Can you post a link? We don't like to spend more time there than needed.
Pick a political thread over there any thread and somewhere you will find Goldstein whining about disrespectful posts when he is the first one to eviscerate any poster he doesn't agree with.
There is also this Ron K. guy who is on a crusade to boycott Papa Johns because their owner has the audacity to pass along the increased business costs due to Obamacare along to his customers. I swear about 80% of the people that post in a political thread over there believe that the amount a business owner pays in necessary expenses to run his business has absolutely no impact on the profit he makes from his business.

I'll say the same there here that I said there.
Why is this a crusade to people? It's a business decision, not a cause. Businesses don't provide health insurance because they can't afford to, not because they don't want to or because "they don't care about their employees enough." Schattner's not alone, not at all. And I believe it's the franchise model that has forced Papa John's into this position. The last thing to do is boycott them. If anything, you should patronize them.
Stop reading HuffPo and Slate. Turn off Current TV, switch from MSNBC to CNBC, and tell Michael Moore to move to Canada ad take a look at the SEC filings, the earnings reports, the stock price. It's just business, people.
Furthermore, I'll add that anyone who criticizes wealthy job creators has their priorities screwed up. These people are the makers. They are the fuel that makes the engine of capitalism run as smoothly as it does. Meanwhile all those poor trash looking for handouts - including healthcare - are the takers. The problem is that the takers are outnumbering the makers. Some need to be deported, others deprived of heathcare so they mercifully just go away and a token few re-educated and incorporated into our ranks. It's a demographic numbers game but we'll get the math right before the next election.
The usual goons, including all the Admiral's ignorant family members, are up in arms about John Schnatter. The fools don't understand that Schnatter doesn't employ any of the people whose jobs are at risk, because he's a franchisor. It's the employees of his franchisees who he is predicting may lose jobs, if the franchisees determine they can't afford the cost of Obamacare. Schnatter doesn't have anything to say about it. That won't stop the perpetually outraged, though. None of them has ever made a payroll or had to worry about input costs.
The franchisee pays Schnatter 6% of sales as a royalty to pay for the use of the brand name and the recipes. Probably another 6% as contribution to a regional or national cooperative advertising campaign (those awful "Better ingredients, better pizza" commercials). So 12% goes away off the top. Then the franchisee gets to pay the useless teenagers and retards who work for him, at the state-mandated minimum wage which is at least 150% of what they're worth. He pays for ingredients, marketing collateral (boxes and flyers), rent and electricity. After all of that, there might be a buck to a buck and a half left over from every pizza for the shop owner to pay himself to work there 100 hours a week, after having invested $500K to a million to build out the store. (Better hope there's not too much debt.) When Schnatter says Obamacare might add 15¢ to the cost of a pizza, he's really talking about 10-15% of what few nickels are left over for the poor shop owner, who takes all the risk of failure if the phone don't ring and nobody orders no pizza.
At some point, it's not worth it.
By the way, the Admiral just came back from a trip to the UK. Wanna guess how much your $12.00 Papa John's pizza runs in the UK, where they have the kind of wonderful social benefits Obama's fixing you up with? THIRTY BUCKS. The cost of supporting all the freeloaders is a lot less pizzas for the families of those who work.
I make my living from regulatory complexity. More regulations mean more work for me. I'm wealthy, and accustomed to eight-dollar gas and thirty-dollar pizzas anyway. So I'll be fine. But I don't think that's good for Americans. That's what the dipshits have voted for, though: More work for me!

Obamacare or not, I'm for any measure that leads to people boycotting bad pizza, whether it's Papa John's, Pizza Hut or, ugh, Domino's.

'I love cheap pizza!!! Better make that $15 pizza to 3 for $9 and add 2 toppings for FREE on each pie!
Anyone that lives in Brooklyn and eats Papa Johns, Dominio's, etc, should be ground up and fed to the homeless.
I thought it went the other way around. Like the theory was that New York was grinding up the homeless and feeding them to people. I was talking to friend there back when Giuliani was in charge and she was like, "I don't don't know what happened to all of them. Maybe we're eating them?"
Anyone that lives in Brooklyn and eats Papa Johns, Dominio's, etc, should be ground up and fed to the homeless.
Don't even get me started on Olive Garden or the other "Italian" chain restaurants, like that shitty Macaroni Grill place.
I hate this idea, the area where I live is populated by the mom-n'-pop type of pizza joints, and there are no chain joints other than some crappy Dunkin Donuts. I want McD's, BK, Subway, Popeyes and Taco Bell to move-in and drive all the moms and pops out of business. Be sure to check out my blog to find out more about Dr. Bob drink.
Obamacare or not, I'm for any measure that leads to people boycotting bad pizza, whether it's Papa John's, Pizza Hut or, ugh, Domino's.
And there we are. Doesn't matter how many jobs it costs. Doesn't matter the collateral damage to companies that do business with PJs or the companies that do business with those companies. Good libs know what's best for the unwashed.
Could someone explain to me how boycotting PJs for not handholding their employees helps the very same employees the boycotters are trying to "help"?
There is an off chance that an individual can be dealt with using reason. There is no chance the masses can be handled the same way.
Also, there is a 90% chance that the people boycotting Papa John's have never eaten Papa John's.

Well, Barry, maybe if they hadn't decided to give away Two Million Pizzas as a promotional stunt, they wouldn't have to threaten to cut anyone's job, huh?
Your argument is specious. Anyway, thanks for rushing to the defense of the crappy chain pizzas at the expense of the small businesses the (R)'s pretend to support but throw under the bus. You think the minorities re-elected Obama on their own?
^^^There's your small business owners/Local Pizzeria Owners right there.
I think most of the real NY pizza places use a Grande brand cheese that's a mix of mozzarella and provolone. The places that make those little neapolitan pizzas are using either fresh mozzarella or maybe imported buffalo mozzarella from Italy. You're just eating shit pizza and complaining about it. Eat better shit, but do it less often.
Man I could use a pizza right now. I ordered pizza to eat with a crew I had working very late last weekend. No alternative but Dominos. First time I've had their pizza since they "re-invented" it, what, 5 years ago? It actually was not bad.
I ate at a place in Charlotte, NC today called "Fuel" which styles itself as NY Pizza. The slice I had was good but not outstanding. The Dominos was at least as good, as sacrilegious as that sounds. Though I had basically a meatlovers from Dominos and a ricotta/spinach/tomato/bacon in Charlotte.
Domino's redid their shit about a year or two back, I think. I don't eat it very often, but that about the only fast food pizza I will get. Maybe Pizza Hut once in blue moon. The Domino's artisan pizzas aren't that bad, either. Papa John's seems to put sugar in both their sauce and their dough and eating their pizza absolutely destroys my bloodsugar. It's like I can't take enough insulin. Frankly, the best pizza in Alaska is when I make it myself at home. Hmmm... Steezo's Pizza has a nice ring to it.
I do not like Papa John's shit all the recent politics aside. I don't like their crust or sauce or anything else about their food.
I used to like the old Dominos sauce- it had a very tomato-y kick to it that I like even though I'm apparently allergic to tomatoes. Seems they may have sweetened it down a little but the bacon on Friday's pies made up for that change. Little Caesars is garbage. Do not even get me started on a CiCi's.
Pizza Hut reminds me of the staid Toyota dealership in Updike's "Rabbit at Rest" novels. Left behind even though they are pushing wings hand over fist. Just clueless.
Pizza Hut is a "eat in" place. The others (Domino's, PJ, etc) are strictly late night delivery joints. All of them need plenty of toppings and gimmicks to hide the highly mediocre they have going for them.
Does Little Caesar's even exist anymore? I think I ate that once in the early-mid 90's.

There was one in Kmart that used to be on the Cropsey plaza around the same time that Roy Rogers was in the place that is now occupied by Wendys. I ate there once and I remember their crust with baked-on cheese bits.

Yeah it exists...They may be down to $10.00 for two larges.
The big stuff going on Down South now is "Hunt Brothers" Pizza. You'll find it in Mom and Pop C-Stores everywhere. Unfortunately it's a medium crust pizza for the most part though some have a thin crust available. Their gimmick is any topping on a large for about 9 bucks. They seriously lack for sauce, or a notable sauce. If there isn't enough tomato to make my forehead sweat I aint interested.

Steezo, as the only member of this forum who's actually spun pies in NYC, I'm gonna tell you to no one would waste provolone by adding it to the pizza mix.
I've spun thousands of pies in this city. That's how I paid my way through college. That's how I know this wasn't a photo-op:
The Little Caesar's up here has some walk-in specials on cheap ass cheese or one topping pizza's. They're always ready to go so you can just pop in and grab one. They're mediocre, but still probably better than Pizza Hut. Plus the Crazy Bread is still tasty. I only really enjoyed their pizza when they had the big square pan pizzas. They currently offer only the round ones up here.
I do believe we've derailed another thread with fast food talk.

Little Caesars? Heh. Another awful faux italian chain catering to the Panzers.

My mistake. I recalled that Grande has an East Coast blend and I assumed it meant Mozza/Provo. I went to their website and it's actually a blend of whole milk & part skim mozzarella.
Little Caesars is shit. Their thing has been for about 5 years now a large cheese or pepperoni for $5. Buy 1 or 20, still $5 each. And they're supposed to have them ready at all times so you can just walk in and get one. It's worse than it's ever been. The Crazy Bread used to be awesome.

Strangely, the single most profitable pizza location in all of America is located here in Anchorage. It's a place called Moose's Tooth. They also brew their own beer, which might add to their profits. I think they're....OK. I love their toppings, but I don't care for their crust.
I think they're just so busy that they can't put out a good product. From my experience, the most important component to a good crust is high heat, and they're cranking out way too many pizzas for the ovens to recover and have the adequate heat necessary for oven spring and crispiness.

Re: Election - 11/12/1208:56 PM
How many ovens they got?
You're essentially correct, though. It sounds to me like it's time for them to expand.
I have no idea about the ovens or what temperature they run at. I busted out a local sports bar/pizza place that was advertising wood-fired pizza when I walked over to the ovens and saw gas flames. They had to change their advertising to "stone fired," whatever the fuck that means.
They are expanding though, so hopefully that'll fix things. I don't even go to eat there anymore since you have to get one of those annoying plastic wait-list buzzers and sit around for an hour or more. They're ALWAYS packed. I get my order to-go and always get the same pizza: the shrimp fiesta. A white pie with lots of jalapeños and good-sized shrimp.
I can't eat any chain pizza's anymore. They make me sick, literally. Last time I had a slice of Papa John's at a neice's b'day party I got the trots almost right away.
The newest trendy Pizza joint in my hood is called 800 Degrees. It's owned by the Umami Burger guys and it is a HUGE hit. Picture doing a pizza joint like a Subway or Chipotle setup. Long service line, pick a crust and sauce, step down and choose toppings, step down and order salads and sides, step down and watch your pie go into an 800 degree open face oven and pop out in about 2 minutes. Step down and pay under $10 for a basic and $12 for one with a few toppings. Get a drink cup and step down to one of those new soda machines that have 120-150 flavors of soda. Find your own table and you're out in like 20 minutes. The kids go nuts for the soda machine. The line moves quickly and there is a line out the door all day and night. Great quality ingredients, fresh buffalo mozzarella sitting in water that is pinched off right in front of you, fresh veggies, nitrate free meats, thick cut salads in those trendy wedge shaped bowls, beer and house wine, soda gimmick for the kids....these guys are just printing money!
Watch the little video at the link I posted. Maybe I didn't describe it properly. They ain't makin no mistakes over there.

Okay, I watched it. There's a guy who knows his craft. I hope to hell he becomes the king of pizza where he is, but I also hope he never tries to create a chain, because that would demean what he's doing.

How is the argument specious? Does a huge gov implemented subtraction from the bottom line not hurt businesses? Please, enlighten us how an additional $300+/ month cost per employee helps a business.
Not entirely sure what your pic proves. I am pretty sure that the folks who work at my local (insert chain store/ resteraunt here) are local to me.
As for the 2 million pies promo, I'm sure you can't see a difference between a deliberate promotional decision by a company and a new tax spearheaded by a President who has no idea how a business runs and has never held a real job or had to make a payroll.
Yeah, Little Cesears does suck, tho. But they obviously have a customer base that keeps them in business. Don't like, don't go there.
Yeah, but for an Oompa Loompa, each bite is a slice.
BTW, we really need a deadpan icon.

More to the point, though: It's specious because Obamacare actually benefits small businesses. Companies with fewer than 50 employees are exempt from the responsibility to provide healthcare or be fined. Those with fewer than 25 employees receive subsidies if they chose to provide coverage. John Schacter's problem seems to be that it would lower labor costs for the mom & pop places.
In sum, you want to screw over small business owners, their families and the millions of people they employ in order to reward a Kajillionaire with poor marketing skills who peddles inferior product. You're chock full o'win today.
Except that Papa Johns isn't competing with mom and pop pizza shops anyway. They are competing with Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Dominos, and Godfathers type chains. Your pizzas at mom and pop stores already cost $5 more than at Papa Johns and the reason people go to these places is that the quality is worth the price. The people that go to Papa Johns have already decided they aren't going to pay that much for a pizza no matter what the quality of it is. They are looking for a so-so pizza at a good price not a good pizza at a so-so price.

The local McDs is owned by a local franchisee, who hires local people. I don't know about Hut or John's, whether they're franchises or not. To say there's no such thing as a "local" Mcds is just wrong.
Not saddling a kajillionaire with an unreasonable new tax isn't "rewarding" them.
So, what becomes of the the people working at a 49 or less employee business? Do they just die in the snowy streets of Pottersville? Or is there a safety net for them?
But beyond the nuts and bolts of the new System, could you (or anyone) tell me why it's an employer's responsibility to pick up your insurance? At what point did the mindset change from health insurance being a benefit to entice new and keep current employees to being an entitlement that your boss by God owes you? If the GOV sees health care as being an entitlement, why aren't they picking up the tab? I'm assuming it's because there would be no way in hell they could sell taking $300+ a month directly from every worker's check.
It's all moot tho. We're going to get to see it in action. Should be interesting.
Except that Papa Johns isn't competing with mom and pop pizza shops anyway.
From the article I linked to earlier:
Quote:
In a lot of lines of business, you basically have big companies competing with other big companies. But food service in general and pizza in particular aren't like that. Obviously Papa John's does compete with Dominoes and other large chains. But a huge share of the pizza market is held by non-chain operators. Some of them are offering a high-end product that Papa John's isn't really competitive with, but there's lots of middling-to-bad independent pizza out there in this fine country and its just as likely that the chains will expand by taking those places out as by competing with each other for market share. And now along comes ObamaCare to subsidize the competition. Not for any particular policy reason closely tailored to the goals of the law, but basically for the sake of a talking point—Democrats can say, accurately, that, far from burdening small businesses, the Affordable Care Act goes out of its way to help them.
I did a bit of googling and it seems that 65 percent of American pizzerias are independently owned. And, living in Brooklyn, I can personally attest to the fact that enough of them offer Panzer Pizza at Panzer Prices. So, yes, the chains do compete with the Mom & Pop joints.
Anyway, why shouldn't better pizza command a higher price? Should a Lambo cost as much as a Honda? Or does that argument only apply to the big guys, and not to the small businesspeople who built this country. 'Cause if it does, that's not capitalism. That's Oligarchy. Ask Putin about that.

I've read estimates that a full repeal of the Bush tax cuts will reduce GDP by 2.5 to 3.5 percent. When GDP growth is struggling to stay above 1.5 percent, a repeal would mean a recession. Not that we aren't heading to a recession anyway. Month to month GDP growth has been declining for quite some time and the fundamentals aren't improving.
With all of the coupons Alex has stolen from his neighbors...
Wait, I do that. Well, I fish discarded coupons out of the little trash bin we keep near the mailboxes. About a year ago, a nice little Italian place sent out $15 gift cards in a mailing. I think I gathered 8 or 9 of those fuckers.
I take a slice, peel off the cheese with toppings and put it on my face as a mask, and use the remaining slice with sauce to wipe my ass.
I had to quote this. And then you eat it, right?

Kasich was better positioned than Boehner to deliver Ohio. IMO Ohioans were put off by Willard's line of bullshit about Jeep production and other things.

The way his supporters were whining about it, I figured he would have gone to Papa Johns, which, as we all know, is not good Pizza to begin with. So much for Mitt supporting businesses "oppressed" by Romneyca. . . err. . . umm. . . Obamacare.
Only the finest for Willard, no Papa Johns mediocre pie. Willard might eat the pie from Two Amys, but it would have to be a special catering deal, he wouldn't rub elbows with the hoi polloi.

Re: Election - 11/30/1207:28 PM
So you're saying they can deep dish it out, but they can't take it. Makes as much sense as anything else.
They definitely can't take it. Isn't the latest wingnut trend internet petitions for secession on the part of several red (and blue) states. Obama's re-election has gotten deep into the heads of the wingnuts. Wouldn't be surprised to see some wingnut go Squeaky on the POTUS.
Certainly anarchists have an assassination history (Czolgosz, Zangara), but these days the violent imagery comes from the wingnuts. I am genuinely unsure as to whether Oswald was a lefty. Tend to regard him as an agent of New Orleans mafia.
Oswald was a lefty. It's seriously time for society to grow up as far as the JFK hit goes. An insignificant nobody snuffed a POTUS. With the exception of JW Boothe, that's pretty much the pattern of political assassinations in the Great Satan.
I'm sure for every piece of "violent" imagery from the right, a comparable could be found on the left. Of course, the definition of "violent imagery" would be a little subjective from side to side. Pimping fear of "the other side" is always a lucrative project.

JW Booth was a white supremacist and active Confederate sympathizer. Guiteau was a "stalwart" Republican, and murdered the "half-breed" Republican president, Garfield, in order to make the "stalwart" Veep, Arthur, POTUS. Guiteau also believed that Garfield ought to have appointed him to a high ambassadorial post. He was more than a little delusional. Czolgosz was pure and simple an anarchist, in modern terms a terrorist, doing what anarchists of the time did, assassinate heads of state.
Oswald was a lefty, he defected to the USSR and was active in the Castroite Fair Play for Cuba Committee. He shot at and missed one of the leading wingnuts of the era, a General Walker IIRC. He might have shot at JFK as a blow against imperialismo Yanqui, but Oswald also had connections to the NO mafia, and may have acted as their dupe (how else can one explain the Jack Ruby hit?).
That Ruby, while having the mob connections that a strip club owner would have, was out of his mind. His actions in the time between Dealy Plaza and him shooting LHO, are the actions of a man desperately damaged by the History going on around him. He saw his chance and took it. He also had the police connections that a strip club owner would have had. Splains a lot if you get your history from Ollie Stone.
I'll backtrack the LHO lefty thing to a point. He was an attention seeker, first and foremost. Being a "Marxist- Leninist" in 1959 was a great way to get attention. But he still had to snuff a POTUS to get there.
The Truman hit at Blair House was also not a wingnut job, but they certainly weren't right wing hawks. Although in today's climate Truman would be quite the right wing crazy. You can't hug your children with nuclear arms.
I think I'd almost stick JWB in the almost nut category. His end game, probably as important as defending Southern womanhood, was that he would be more famous than ever. Not just as an actorman, but as a full fucking fledged national hero. His diary writings while on the run showed how shocked he was that rather than tearing the Union asunder, the assassination brought the country together. I tend to think his "operations" for the Confederacy were overblown...mostly because he seemed to have that bigger than life thing going. He did some stuff for the Confederacy but I don't see him being the Mitch Rapp of his era.
In 1863, everyone was a white supremacist.
I guess maybe the problem is that I sort of assume that to take out a head of state, you have to be a bit unbalanced. To me, that late 1800s forward brand of European anarchism, much like today's hipper version, was a form of mental illness. Or stupidity. But that's me looking at history through a modern prism, which I always call others out for.
I think that we can agree that anyone doing any kind of political violence aren't speaking for us. And that it is never, ever a good idea. Unless it's at the Sewer Department level.
If you wanted to be successful, you voted for Romney. If you wanted successful people to pay for your free shit, you voted for Obama. The takers out numbered the makers, and the US of A is circling the drain. Thanks liberals and illegals
Wouldn't successful people in favor of illegals? Hiring labor as cheap and with as little concern for them as possible is the halmark of any successful business, it's as american as cream pies.
I think that we can agree that anyone doing any kind of political violence aren't speaking for us. And that it is never, ever a good idea.
What the fuck does this even mean? You wouldn't define violent revolutions that completely changed/destroyed or created new nations states as "political violence"?

That's bullshit. American employers don't want to overpay for labor, but American employers pay better than anyone in the world for skilled people who are willing to work hard. Trust me, I work overseas with American employers, and American employers pay wages that blow local markets away. The fact that American workers are no longer appreciably better-skilled than, and are demonstrably lazier than, the hordes of Mexican peasants streaming across our borders falls solely at the feet of the Democrat-controlled educational system and our lowest-rung workers themselves.
You get paid what you're worth. I make hundreds of thousands a year in a free market where I am inundated with competition. You want to make more money? Be worth it.
American workers are no longer appreciably better-skilled than, and are demonstrably lazier than, the hordes of Mexican peasants streaming across our borders
You contradict your self in your own paragraph. So you admit that the mexican workers are BETTER than most american works, so by definition they would be worth more to the employer because they are desperate enough to work harder for less money. I don't give a shit about what american companies pay sweat shop workers in other countries, that wasn't the point at all. I find it hysterical that you blame the democrats for the failing school system making american kids lazier because someone has a bad attitude towards the prospect of working their fingers to the bone washing dishes for shit pay. I hope you get both your arms and legs cut off and suffer sever brain damage and become of no longer any market value to anyone. Hopefully someone will pull the plug and not waste precious resources on your feeding tube and respirator costs. It would make perfect sense in a free market libertarian society. Anyone who said otherwise would be a communist, you simply wouldn't be worth it anymore

I was talking civilized countries, and targeting heads of state. You knew that, tho.

I'm not trying to be obtuse here but I don't consider a country civilized because it's industrialized.
Only thing I see her doing is trying to help returning vets and their families. You're thinking of "Shillary." I think fugly learned that lesson and decided against being a co-president.
How about we get back to talking about how Boehner-One wants to sell out the rest of us to protect the Billionaires?
They've chased Morsi's ass out of the presidential palace in Egypt. Would that we Americans could get it as together as those Muslims and chase our piece-of-shit President out.

If we could just dump a shit load of anthrax or ricin there, the winds may take it to Palestine and Israel and we could do a lot of good. We would have unfettered access to dig at Giza and find the Atlantean library under the Sphinx's paw.
Anyone with a brain and airfare got the fuck outta Egypt when the last guy got the boot.

Not only did he sneak back in as it were, but he has taken the initiative. Muslim Brotherhood counter-protestors seemed to have the best of today's protests.

Problem is that the opposition can't seem to agree on anything except that the Muslim Brotherhood has to go. The longer it takes 'em to decide how to fill the void, the harder it'll be. Unless the army steps in.
How about this. We work on developing some sort of goat AIDS and let it spread through the middle east. Take out the food supply, and let em all kill each other over scraps of chicken while the region starves.

Re: Election - 12/05/1208:45 PM
As long as we can keep it contained to that region. I wouldn't want it to spread to other goat eating countries like Greece. Steezo's family has enough to worry about as it is.
Is it Greece or some other country where instead of flipping people off, they make a motion that is supposed to be throwing shit on someone? Sociology class is long ago and I forget.
Just googled about flipping the bird and the story that came up said giving someone the middle finger dates back to Ancient Greece and that the gesture was a way to insult someone by telling them they take it up the ass. I don't know about any oddball gestures over there, but I have heard guys making hissing sounds sometimes. It's something they do to girls, but I think they also hiss at guys that they hate.
Oprah, please. Everyone uses the Kool- Aid analogy. For "winning" you folks certainly seem upset. But I smoked my first legal bowl on the patio last night, so maybe I'm just especially gleeful.
I assume so. It's a really weirdly written law. Huge taxation at every step...like 25% each on the grower, the distributor and the retail. The Liquor Control Board will regulate it, but they seem to think it'll take them a year to get the apparatus in place. Until then possession and use are legal, but buying or selling still isn't. My attitude is that the LCB already has tax collecting and regulating powers for liquor, so they should just have to design new forms and hire some new employees. If it's going to take them a year to do that, they must be high.
I was wondering last night about the legality of selling "used" pipes and such. And can the word "bong" be used in a head shop?
One of my shameful secrets is the acceptance that an Obama operated Justice Department will more than likely take a stand back and watch approach. In the next election cycle, when the rest of the world sees that the world hasn't ended, the Federal gov will have little choice but to accept it as a state's rights issue and reschedule weed. Given the choice, tho, I'd take small gov/ low taxes over weed.
You are dreaming Barry. Presidente Marco Rubio will send in the Feds on Inauguration Day and you will be the first one busted. I miss all of those cool emoticons.
Seriously, don't count on the GOP respecting state legalization of marijuana. They value their born again base too much.
The emoticons aren't the ones from the last forum software, but still there once clicked on "Switch to Full Reply Screen." You can also hover over them in the Shout Box section once clicked on "Smileys" to see their code.

"Presidente"? Only a little racist, but you're getting there. Welcome aboard. I'll introduce you around at stormfront.
Lotteries. Casinos. Ordering liquor online. Micro- distilleries. At the end of the day, the evangelicals will soldier as they're told. Especially after 4 years of this tribe. I'm saying that in 2 years Cali, Oregon, Nevada (maybe), Montana, Arizona (maybe), the other medical states and Vermont will most likely legalize. Domino effect.
The first one? I can just see Rubio...sitting in his cabin at Bohemian Grove, surrounded by Mr. Burns and the ghost of Lee Atwater, just rubbing his hands together about getting "that fucking doper on that porn board. He's been a thorn in my side since Seattle Hempfest 2008. Fucking tomato waterpipes". They swear a lot amongst themselves.
But I think you're just having fun with me. For all my problems with the law, I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl about it. Mostly because it shows that the System actually does work. A majority of people in a state actually set aside 75+ years of lies and changed a stupid law. I still believe in the System, as corny as that sounds.
I was being facetious. Not paranoid enough to believe that the Feds track us with black helicopters or whatnot. Have to decline the Stormfront invite since I am a race traitor by virtue of being willing to fuck nonwhite women. Next time you're on Stormfront post something about the attractiveness of Vanessa Del Rio, then I might go there just to see the reaction. Just kiddin'. You are ok Barry. Fire up a bowl for me.
My racism is much more complicated than I let on. Me personally, I love fucking non- white girls. I'd like to troll stormfront, but it's pretty heavily moderated.

Which is how we wound up with Coke.
It's one thing to torment Tritone. It's another to make it board policy. The people whining about spellcheck might take that into consideration.
I never had a problem with Coke. He was a good poster. I don't care about politics or biases or racism or whatever as long as they're fun. What I like about here is that you can say the things that would get you pelted with stones in the real world.
We were packing to come home and the chick turned on Fox News. After 20 mins I said "hey this is just people trying to be mad about something can we change the channel?"
Fox News was at it's best in the first Gulf War. It kinda blows since, but no more than any of the other "news" channels.
Gosh, an institute we've never heard of before has popped up and published a "study" which "proves" what all liberals already know — conservatives are not just dumber than liberals, but positively stooopid. The Intelligence Institute assures us that Fox viewers' IQs are considerably higher than the threshold for mental retardation, but we know what time it is. They're just being polite. And we know the study cannot be biased, because the Intelligence Institute is a conservative think tank. What's our source for the Intelligence Institute's bona fides as a "conservative" think tank? Why, the Intelligence Institute itself, which has zero presence on the Internet and has produced no scholarship other than this widely-reported study which proves Fox viewers are sub-human.
I've never met a real-deal, in the money, republican that watches Fox. All the people I know that watch Fox religiously, are also the ones that watch wrestling and think it's real. I've seen more lower-class, redneck, scumfuck idiots come into my store and talk about the "Obamanation" and the "nagger president", then they talk about how they watch Bill O'reilly, Glen Beck, and Sean Hannity, as they're ticking these people off on their fingers like their making a solid point. It's a shame. The republicans really need to quit catering to the pundits, they can't re-build their ugly image without disavowing the idiots that play their trumpets.
I watch the Five and Red Eye. I'll watch in the morning for the top o' the hour news and go to Fox if there's "breaking news". I figure for breaking coverage, all the big news channels are about the same. I know wrestling isn't "real" or "fake". Fatz and jig know what that means.
Harry Belafonte wants "Marack Bubama" to act like a 3rd world dictator and put anyone who doesn't agree with him in hail. Poverty Pimp Sharpton giggles in the background.
Amazing. He was really close to being lucid. First time since the mid 70s.
The hilarious thing is that for 50 years we've listened to malcontents like this clown go on about how their free speech rights are being trampled under the jackboots of Republicans. But the second they get in power, they realize that jackboots are pretty comfy after all.
I remember some bunch of goofs on the old Morton Downey show doing the same thing to let Reagan have a third term.

^It happens any time a POTUS gets a 2nd term. Some get laughed down harder than others. Fact is: If it weren't for Hitler and Tojo, FDR would never have gotten a third term, either.
What did some people do when they discovered they were taking home less than they were just two weeks ago? Some blamed George W. Bush. Here are some things (not in order) from the article, the comments are worth reading too.
Quote:
“What happened that my Social Security withholding’s in my paycheck just went up?” a poster wrote on the liberal site DemocraticUnderground.com. “My paycheck just went down by an amount that I don’t feel comfortable with. I guarantee this decrease is gonna’ hurt me more than the increase in income taxes will hurt those making over 400 grand. What happened?”
“Really, how am I ever supposed to pay off my student loans if my already small paycheck keeps getting smaller? Help a sister out, Obama,” wrote “Meet Virginia.” “Nancy Thongkham” was much more furious. “F***ing Obama! F*** you! This taking out more taxes s*** better f***ing help me out!! Very upset to see my paycheck less today!”
“_Alex™” sounded bummed. “Obama I did not vote for you so you can take away alot of money from my checks.” Christian Dixon seemed crestfallen. “I’m starting to regret voting for Obama.” But “Dave” got his dander up over the tax hike: “Obama is the biggest f***ing liar in the world. Why the f*** did I vote for him”?
A whole new wave of Obama supporters still don’t even know: They’ll get their first 2013 paychecks on the 15th of the month. So when you’re shooting the breeze in the lunchroom with your grumbling co-workers on the 16th, just ask them, “Who’d you vote for in November?” When they say Mr. Obama, just tell them: “Well, you got what you voted for. You did know he was going to raise taxes, right?”
Can't get enough Maoist rebel news videos fuckos? Well that's just great! Here's a few more little tidbits to choke on, mix it with some lye in your bud light you pigs.
Fuck the troops! The Eagle cries like a cunt once again. I guess Rambo doesn't relish the prospect of coming home to live under a fucking bridge with a few VA flu shots and hardtack to go with that refrigerator box blanket and cinder block pillow.
Trying life without the meds. Seems to be working.
Do you think Have2sit get's a fucking hardon at the thought of getting a job as a screw in one of Bobby Jindall's McJail's in what was once a nation state that used to exist called Lousiana that is now a giant Gulag? He probably has wet dreams everynight at the chance to crush nagger's skulls all day with a billy club for $9.50 an hour.
Sorry. The only skulls I crack belong to progressive pinheads like you. Don't go away mad though, just go away with this song that always reminds of you.

Video in the link. She's been a poll worker for 25 years. Her granddaughter also cast two ballots in the election. At least four absentee ballots came from the woman's address, and the handwriting on all of them was similar.
Quote:
CINCINNATI - The Hamilton County Board of Elections is investigating 19 possible cases of alleged voter fraud following months of investigation after the 2012 election.
Twenty-eight subpoenas have been issued as a result of the investigation, which includes 19 Hamilton County voters and nine witnesses who still need to answer questions to satisfy the board.
The board started with 80 suspicious cases and now are down to 19. Officials say the majority of the cases turned out to be simple misunderstandings.
Melowese Richardson, a Madisonville resident, first learned of the allegations when approached by 9 On Your Side reporter Tom McKee Wednesday. Even though she admits to voting twice in the last election, she said the news came as surprise.
"I would think that something this important would come to me first and that I wouldn't have to be enlightened about this through you," said Richardson.
According to county documents, Richardson's absentee ballot was accepted on Nov. 1, 2012 along with her signature. On Nov. 11, she told an official she also voted at a precinct because she was afraid her absentee ballot would not be counted in time.
"There's absolutely no intent on my part to commit voter fraud," said Richardson.
According to BOE records, her name appeared on an absentee ballot list prior to Election Day. The board's report states poll workers should have updated the signature poll book by flagging "absentee voter" next to the names of those who appeared on the list. Upon investigation it was found that none of the voters who appeared on the list were flagged, which included Richardson. The staff could not locate that supplemental list when asked.
Richardson voted at the Madisonville Recreation Center where she worked as a paid worker on Election Day.
She has worked the polls since 1988. Richardson said in her youth she would accompany her mother, who also worked at the polls, even thought she wasn't old enough to vote at the time.
"I, after registering thousands of people, certainly wanted my vote to count. So, I voted. I voted at the poll," she said.
The board's documents also state that Richardson was allegedly disruptive and hid things from other poll workers on Election Day after another female worker reported she was intimated by Richardson.
However, Richardson claims she was the one intimidated while doing her job.
"I think I was intimidated because she's new and wasn't doing her job very efficiently and like I said, I've been working the pools for several years. I let her know how it should have been taken care of," said Richardson.
During the investigation it was also discovered that her granddaughter, India Richardson, who was a first time voter in the 2012 election, cast two ballots in November.
Documents show when India was contacted on Jan. 17 concerning the two ballots, she denied voting absentee.
She stated, "No, my grandmother filled that out and voted my ballot because she didn't think I would go do it, but I did. I voted provisionally at my polling place on Election Day," according to the report.
Richardson admitted to sending one of her granddaughter's ballots in the mail.
"I did let her know that I was getting the absentee ballot for her and sending it in. I had to get her Social Security number for that. I assumed she forgot or was just excited and she went to the polls herself," said Richardson.
Another claim is absentee ballots for Montez Richardson, Joseph Jones and Markus Barron all came from Richardson's Whetsel Avenue address were received by the board the same time as Richardson's and the handwriting on all four of them was similar.
"Markus Barron lives here. Joseph Jones is my brother. He's here from time-to-time. I am Montez's power-of-attorney. I voted for her in her absence," said Richardson.
She said she thought all of the votes were legal. The matter may still wind up before the Hamilton County prosecutor.
"Have they never heard of a simple mistake? Have they never heard of overlooking? Mailing in a ballot or registering to vote at a precinct after you've forgotten that you mailed in a ballot?" said Richardson.
Two hearings will take place on Feb. 15 and Feb. 22 where those accused will have a chance to speak. Richardson's case will be heard on Feb. 22 and she says it's far from over.
"Absolutely. Absolutely, I'll fight it for Mr. Obama and for Mr. Obama's right to sit as president of the United States."
Eat rancid shit siphoned from a porta-jon and asphyxiate while felching rush limbaughs asshole you fucking neocon chromosome horders. There's not a dark enough pit of hell waiting for you.
Ignorant bullshit video but I'm LOLing at the hipster puke wearing the Swans shirt. Gira would probably bitch slap him then whip him around by his beard like a fucking wet noodle (to paraphrase the Honky Tonk Man, greatest intercontinental champion of all time)
^Stop sucking Koch cock already. That "statistic" is bullshit. More importantly, free birth control pills mean less people on welfare, even if it takes a while to get 'em to take 'em.
Goddamn, sometimes you assholes are counterproductive.
Yes, but Miss Flook did say that her birth control cost $3000 a year. No one called her out on that number, even tho the real story was no one has ever spent $3000 a year to stay unpregnant. Ever. Weekly pap schmeres are not a necessity.
Barry, stop trying to have it both ways. It's Tritoneian. Either you embrace these little bundles of joy, and the hundreds of thousands of dollars that each of them eat up in welfare, court costs and incarceration, or suck it up and pay the much smaller sum for abortions and Vag RX.
You sound more like Barry the President than Barry the Pirate with this penny-wise, pound-foolish doubletalk.
Like I said, it's not about free family planning services. It's about the face of free services coming up with nonsense about how much she has to shell out for these services. From the President calling her up to offer support to Limbaugh calling her a slut. No one called her out for fudging the numbers...or lying as I prefer to see it.
Honestly I couldn't give a fuck about free planning services. The toothpaste is out of the tube and society is OK with that. My problem is forcing institutions to offer services that they don't want to...for religious or whatever other reasons. There are plenty that gleefully do provide these services, so there's no reason to hassle the Catholics and the Mormons...unless you just don't like them and demand that they bow to the way you think society should be. And let's be honest, Flook had an ax to grind.
It's a bit lazy to say there's only bundles of joy and welfare recipients. I was a mistake and not including getting unemployment twice, I've never received a penny of government assistance. And I doubt my story is all that uncommon. Being a bastard doesn't make you a dirtbag. Just like coming from a decent family doesn't guarantee you won't be a dirtbag.
