I never said that you were a doctor. I said "with another male doctor" which means that the doctor was male and that 2 males were involved in the anal exam procedure: you and the doctor (male).

Alex, every man should have a prostrate exam periodically, and a colonoscopy when he is 50. More frequently if there is a family history of cancer.

I know, the colonoscopy found my cancer early enough to have it removed without chemotherapy, radiation, or death.

Real men take care of their health. That includes prostrate exams.

Maybe, but the doctor has to be a chick and not a dude. If it was a dude then you should have said "no thanks".

So how does the procedure works? Do they enemize you out or do they work on the sooty chimney in raw? What kind of gear do they use: high-def zooms or standard primes?

For a colonoscopy, you spend a couple days prior taking stuff to make you crap, and only taking in fluids. You are very clean after the prep. The prep is the worst part. The procedure, you are drugged out, and then wake up. They insert a tube with a camera and go all the way to the end of your colon.

Important - they can also remove pre-cancerous polyps with the scope. I know for a fact I saved at least one man's life by urging him to have a 'scope, they removed 3 pre-cancerous polyps.
