Like I said, I'm all for freedom of expression and even brought it up earlier today that no photo should be removed just because some may find it unappealing, but this is over the top, irrelevant to the thread, thread hogging/attn whoring, and IN THE BELOVED LUNCH THREAD nonetheless.

The LUNCH thread sucks and is on par with any of the mind-numbingling retarded ADT threads in their Beyond Porn forums, so I was actually quite pleased to see it shit on (or is that "in"?).

While I'm neutral on Panzer, I think it's outrageous that Gia's authority has been publicly undermined by the site's owners. This is one of the worst things a manager can do to one of his supervisors. It's admirible that Gia is being a good sport and bending over backwards to create the impression that the management team has spoken with one voice all along. But puuuuuuu-lease! They could not telegraph their priorities any clearer. Gia's dignity means less to them than whatever Panzer's site visits contribute to total traffic. And after all she's done for this site! If this happened to me, I would tender my resignation immediately.

Technically, there's no censorship (like Loopnode pointed out): nothing gets deleted, only some editing of certain links and pictures (always available via download from XPT server).
But as long as you run the risk of a ban, it 'feels' like censorship.

Censorship is not only the deletion of text, but also the suppression of speech. Which is what boxing/banning is meant to achieve, to some degree. If you don't delete the text, but delete the poster of that text, then it's still a form of censorship in my opinion.
I'm talking more about what happened to Hyde, than to Panzer. Not that it's that important....this is just an internet porn forum. But it's a joke to say that this board is completely uncensored. I think you may be reading a little to much into the use of the word here. In comparison to the other boards this one is less censored, no board can be completely uncensored with the strict definition, there would be no mods, illegal crap would proliferate and there would be pics of Smartts dick all over the pages. The use of the word uncensored here is a marketing tool, but it also pretty truthful in light of some of your alternatives in this kind of board. It all comes down to the owners of the forum, what they say goes. I believe Jeff started the board to give people a place to chat about porn that wasn't like the other boards, he still want there to be rules though to make sure it isn't complete chaos. If people disagree with the way he runs this board (through tony and mods) then you could always try your hand at making your own forum like he did.

My initial post was pointing out that despite the 'completely uncensored' claim at the beginning of the forum, obviously certain things are not allowed here, ex. CP, so why was everyone freaking out about it?
The Max post was what is often referred to as 'a joke.' Apparently Fiend and what's-his-face took me seriously that Max's material, often posted by Eminence Front in the review section, should be removed. I was not serious. Nothing kills a joke like being forced to explain it.
