NYC Nigga Hustlers - 04/16/08 06:25 PM

If you visit NYC then be sure to check these ones out:

Street Peddlers - they sell pretty much everything from a cell phone holster to the portrait of Marylin Monroe. They have this cheap table on the street and they have merchandise on it. Usually they yell out loud stuff like "Special sale! Designer handbags only $10, buy your's now!"

MSG Scalpers - These guys are allover the Madison Square Garden area and are on the ready to sell you a ticket.

Homeless Guy Who Likes Booty - Theres this homeless guy who sits on the staircase to the subway and always say "Pleeeeezeeeeeee, please, will you help me, please, ohh pleeezeee". I once caught this guy red-handed when he took a glimpse of some hottie's fine booty and he said something like "Damn! What an ass!".

Underground Nigga Rappers - these guys are also allover the city, a lot of them are in the Times Square area and are on the ready to approach a visiting tourist and hustle them for a home-legged CD-ROM.

Candy Hustlers - these dude are also a plenty and will aproach you on a street and ask you to buy either peanut M&Ms or Starburst, because that is all they have. They will tell you that sell candy so they can stay off the streets or support a basketball team.

Subway Performers - these guys usually travel in the packs of 2-4. Basicallly what they do is they perform backflips in the moving subway cars to the tune of some hip hop music.

There are mexicans playing their guitars and violinist in the trains and just plain old beggars, I dont know what trains you rode but I never saw any rappers or breakdancers since the 80's and I ride the subway daily.
Posted by: Uncle Joe

Re: NYC Nigga Hustlers - 04/21/08 04:45 PM

Breakdancers are usually found on the A and F train, the F train is less frequently.

Just seen the mexican serenaders on saturday at around 9AM. Theydont really count as Nigga Hustlers.

A lot of strip clubs there, right?

I think that the 8th avenue is considered as a homeless-person alley. At the 36th and 8th there is a pizza joint that used to have $1.00 slices of pizza less than 1.5 years ago. Now they are $1.99/slice.

As others have noted [Zenman?], there's a pizza place on the NW corner of 41st & 9th that sells pizza for $1/slice. And, it's still there at that price. It's not great, but it's cheap.

There's a nice farmer's market next door where I get better prices than in most Jersey stores [green peppers $1/lb, spanish onions 3lb/$1, etc.]. There's also a butcher next door to that which every week has something or another at a great price.

So Alex, there are good bargains in and around 9th & 42nd, but I don't recall any strip clubs.

I will check this pizza place out on saturday. 9th and 42+ should be a lot of stripping joints, theres a broadway around and to the wests there should b liek a bunch of strip clubs, maybe around 50s but from 42nd and on its whey they start, I think.

Re: NYC Nigga Hustlers - 04/22/08 04:28 PM

Private Eyes is on 46th (I think) between 8th and 9th. But it's quite expensive.

There's another joint on 8th that looks about as reputable as a used car lot run by Donny Long. I'd pass.

Beyond that, there really aren't any strip clubs in that neighborhood, Alex. Again, as other have mentioned, stick to the ones in Queens. More bang for your buck.

Oh, and if it's still in business, stay the Hell away from "Sweet Cherry Gentlemens' Club" in Brooklyn. Nothing good has ever come out of there.

Private Eyes is just off 8th on 45th. They give out passes on the corner of 8th & 45th since the so-called "Donny Long" joint, Lace II, is just a block plus south on 8th.

I've never been in either.

I didnt enjoy the mexicans because I was heading over to college and I was sleepy and wanted to nap and they were being loud. And they sing on Spanish, which I dont understand, and for all I know they could be singing about how terrorists will kill everyone.

It is very frequent that breakdances would dance and would exit the subway car, then a nigga bootlegger would come in and offer his "quality bootlegs" and exit on the next stop, then some beggar would come in and ask for spare change and exit on the next stop, and then chinese bootlegger would come in and offer DVDeez and AA batteries. Sometimes I think that you can run the whole shopping mall thru the A train's line.

Alex, trust me, you don't want to go anywhere near Sweet Cherry. And I wasn't even going to mention Wild West, hoping it had closed by now. That place, well, let's put it this way: Remember a few years back there was that cop who started drinking with his friends after his shift in the stationhouse parking lot, then spent the next 36 hours up drinking, only to run over an entire family of Hondurans on his way back to work? He spent most of those 36 hours at Wild West. 'Nuff Said.

Breakdancing acrobat kids thrive on the A above 59th St. They also smell, and every once in a while one wipes out or slams his head on the ceiling of the car.

The out-of-place mariachi acts seem to appear mostly during the summer. Musicians likely winter in Guadalajara.

The pizza place on 41st and 9th truly gets the job done at $1 a slice.

There's a PRIVATE topless/nude lapdance/sex-show joint hidden in the Times Square area that I hear is quality. It's $20 at the door--a "membership fee"--and BYOB. The remaining titty bars in the Times Square area all suck.

The fancy clubs are a waste of time and money, unless you have enough of both to wipe your ass with one-hundred dollar bills. You need to go to the Pussycat Lounge. 96 Greenwich below the WTC hole. Old-timey NYC strip dump. The good ones are all gone...

Alex, he wiped out an entire family of Hondurans, from the Abuela to the 8 1/2 month old fetus in her daughter's womb. Clearly, these people crossed the border in the trunk of a car, otherwise they would have been run over long before they made it to New York. But that's not the point, damnit. The point is that WWW was, is and has always been a refuge for scum and villany. Stick to the bars in Queens for now.
