No Smoking in Amsterdam

I heard on the news today that the Netherlands government, in order to curb cigarette smoking in public places put a complete ban on smoking. This unfortunately will affect the popular "cannabis cafes". I personally have always wanted to go check one of these out. Now I'll never get the chance <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />.

A Cannabis Café is not exactly considered a "public" place in Amsterdam.
Open, yes, but not "public" as, say, a street bar or a movie theater.

<- that may be right for the rest of the netherlands but not amsterdam, its one big cafe at night with so many fucked up people coming out when its getting dark that you might be scared <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
