Here are two newbies we shot interviews with for the Peeperz Xcast. We interviewed Kaylee and did a BTS shoot at a G/G scene with Alexis and Natasha Starr. The show will be posted this friday at peeperz.com

I think I like Alexis except for the tats. Kaylee's face reminds me of some other pw but I don't remember her name. I only see one tat so that's a plus.

I like the awkwardness of this picture. I was looking at the others and wondering "man, are girls really so narcissistic these days at such a young age?" then I saw this one. This girl is self aware. She knows she is attractive but not perfect, and I think she recognized at some point how strange it was to be in her situation.

Of course I could be all wrong but that makes no difference in the theatre of my mind.

To me, she looks slightly insecure. So, she's enjoying the fact that someone finds her naked body to be attractive enough to actually photograph. Like, "Oh gosh, they think I'm pretty!..." Looks-wise, she reminds me of the Jenna Maroney character from 30 Rock.

It's funny how so many porn girl really want to be stars and are into screwing on camera. However, there are insecurities about certain body parts and they wonder if they can hold their own looks-wise with the top names in the biz.

What I dig most about Kaylee is that she looks like the high school cheerleader who has decided to explore her sexual side after graduaution, and do it on camera. To that point I think the fact that she doesn't look like the "typical" porn star is her greatest advantage, though she might see it as a disadvantage.

I was going to comment with a link to Alexis' agency profile and say that upon further thought I think she's was ugly, until I double checked the link. There's another new pw named Alexa Bay. Alexis may want to change her last name so she's not confused with the ugly girl.

Why do these girls change their names once they start? Raven Bay I understand because of me and she changed before she really got into the thick of things, and Anissa Kate was smart enough not to use the Kym K. name after all. The AK name was distinct enough in my opinion.

But I see Kaylee Evans is now AJ Applegate, here too. I get that she thinks or someone told her she looks like Christina Applegate, but wouldn't something like Kaylee Applegate make more sense?

It's different from a Kara Mynor/Shawna Lenee thing where she had to reinvent herself after her suicidal gesture. She got implants and died her hair and really glammed herself up, or a Tucker Slain/Nate Battle where he tried to hide that fact he doesn't understand what No means.

The Anissa Kate thing happened when she was first being promoted by the peeps at Harmony Films. They were trying to cash in on her likeness to Kim Kardashian. So much so that they wanted to call her Kym Kardashian. For legal reasons they changed to Kym K. They eventually re-thought the promotion and
stuck with Anissa.

As for Raven– I met her as Alexis Bay. She, like many newbies, pick their name on a whim and really don't consider if someone else has the name or how common the name is. When things started to take off for her, she realized that their were a million girls named Alexis in the biz so she wanted to change it.

She has the dark hair and wings in her back so she want with Raven.

Kaylee/ AJ I am not sure about. I will get back to you on that one.

Here is AJ's (ex-Kaylee) response to why she changed her name.
It sort of goes along with what I said about porn stars rethinking their names once they start to make a "name" for themselves.


I changed my name because there's too many Kaylees and Evans in the business and everyone tells me I look like Christina Applegate- so I stand out in peoples' minds more when I tell them my name. It was the perfect time to change it too because I recently did a bunch of DVDs in LA.

The web stuff has a much shorter turnaround time since there's no disc to press or case insert to have printed, in addition to distribution. I think the quickest I've seen a date of production on a film to the time the dvd was released was two months.

Raven Bay had 9 web scenes and 2 DVD's.

AJ Applegate (the former Kaylee Evans) had 17 web scenes and 7 DVD's. Included were at least 8 anal scenes, one visit with Mike Adriano (and at least one more he directed but did not perform in), and a Kink scene which may have involved her being anally fisted.

AJ is the clear winner, and Raven has been kind of a disappointment. I figured it would be the other way around.
