Modeling Work

Modeling Work - 12/11/07 12:16 PM

Notice To All Female Models In The Adult Industry....

We aren't sure exactly what's going on but It seems, as of late, Agencies can't be bothered to tell model about the Magazine work as it doesn't pay as much as movie scenes.  However, it means a lot to your credits and presence to appear in the top magazines and possibly be on the covers. All the big name stars in the Industry have dozens and dozens of magazine credits to their name, this is how they build their stature as a Star. Time and time again we have notified various agencies that we wanted a specific model and they either don't respond at all or get back to us two weeks after the initial contact.

You still need the magazine and internet presence to promote your movies and your dance gigs and we are pretty sure you always need good photos of yourself.  Magazine sales are down due to the internet so model fees are being negotiated with either monetary compensation or content trade for your websites.  It's your choice which of the options you thinks benefits you more.

We have recently experienced models complaining that they have never been in a magazine and I can only surmise that  the agents don't bother telling the models about the jobs because they would rather book them out on movie sets for scenes as hardcore scenes pay much more than glamour shoots.  If you are sitting around wondering why you aren't getting magazine shoots, this could be the problem.

We invite you to personally contact our studio for magazine layout work.  This is a safe and friendly environment and we have been in the industry for 26 years.  The pay varies depending on the magazine you are being submitted for or as stated you can pose in exchange for your website usage. You are here for a period of no longer than 2.5 hours including make-up.

If you are sitting around looking for work submit your photos... Front and back, head to knees, with contact information.  We are especially interested in new models and or models that have not shot for a particular magazine in the last year.  We will submit your photos to the editors for approval and we will get back to you within a week if you are approved.  You will leave the day of the shoot with check in hand.  No waiting two weeks for your money.

Shit, wish that was the case with me. The Randalls and the Barely Legal dudes are pretty quick at swooping up all the new hotties right as they enter the biz.

Re: Modeling Work - 12/12/07 09:41 AM

I've been shooting for magazines for 26 years now so you can assure that I shoot for most all of them. Some of my clients have several magazines and they decided where they are going to be published... It's not up to me. My reputation and experience speaks for itself. Sadly most girls don't give a shit what magazine they shoot for or who they shoot for, all they care about is the money. This is news to you? The young girl magazine market is the only one I don't shoot for and it's my own choice so the Randalls and the Barely Legal people are welcome to that market. I prefer to shoot women, not girls.

Re: Modeling Work - 12/12/07 09:50 AM

Rest assured that every time we post on Craig's List we get at least 50 women wanting to be models. It's not a matter of not finding talent. We have plenty.
The problem is that when a client requests a specific girl that they want, we call the agent and they don't respond. It's never been spec work at our studio. As stated before, they get a check at the end of the shoot. No waiting for two weeks or waiting to see if the client approves the model. When I shoot, the layout is already sold.

Ok, maybe I will help you with this one.....

I take it you shoot for this website-

http://www.taylorwane.com

YES, NO ???

you haven’t informed anyone of your credentials as of yet....brief but very vague comments about your past 26 yrs in the biz.....and as such there are a few "hacks" who will say ANYTHING to get some unsuspecting inexperienced girl or woman naked. As it has been written before in this forum...give some evidence or indication that you are actually legit.

Laurien, you might want to stop using craigslist to find models. Model quality girls don't exactly use craigslist to get adult jobs.

Have you tried using the newer agencies? You can find a few pretty ones there and those agencies are so new that they can't afford to turn down work for their girls.

You know, I'm still having trouble believing that agencies turn down mag work for their girls. Look through High Society, Hustler, Penthouse, etc...those porn girls are all from major agencies.

Laurien's okay people. I've met him and Taylor a few times in Vegas and they're fine by me.

Ask and ye shall receive, Laurien. You can shoot Deb for the AARP Bulletin and her daughter for a Weight Watchers ad.

Re: Modeling Work - 12/12/07 05:02 PM

Thanks for the tip Gia but we've been using Craig's list for a long time now and do very well with it. I suggest others try as well. Don't know who told you the quality of models from there is low. Not true. We actually get less jaded models who are actually excited about shooting for the first time. Like I said we are looking for new girls as well. No point in shooting the same model 10 other photographers already shot. The magazine work is limited and the editors like the new.

I shoot for all those magazines you mentioned and many of those girls I have shot. As I said, lately, it is getting harder to book them. I'm sorry if you find something hard to believe but why would I waste my time with a post for no reason at all? Unlikely. By the way Gia, do you still pose?

And in response to the other question, do I shoot for www.taylorwane.com, the answer is yes. 100% of those layouts on the website have already been published in magazines. I'm also the one that shot Taylor for the cover and centerfold for Penthouse magazine and I could not begin to count the box cover shoots I've done since my start up days at VCA for Gregory Dark.
Any models that want references can get direct contact info from me to the editors to confirm that I'm legit. Just because (you) haven't heard of some one doesn't mean they aren't well known to others.

This wasn't meant to stir up shit but I guess that's what happens here. It's only meant to be an avenue for people to be aware of work out here and that some agents are not doing their job... big surprise huh?

Thanks for the thumbs up Conky... I love that pic....

I've been masturbating for around 26 years, and I don't troll around XPT looking for hints.

Re: Modeling Work - 12/21/07 10:57 AM

I did say I didn't mean to stir up shit but my post managed to raise XTP's favorite turd to the surface. FYI, Chrissy, we use that email account separately from Taylor's fan base because for obvious reasons. People who want work use that email account. Fan's that purchase merchandise use another and so on. I do have laurienphoto@mac.com that my clients use. Of course you wouldn't know anything about running a business, so I wouldn't expect you to get that. No erect cock waving in front of your face here Chrissy so shut the fuck up and move on. I don't need someone that makes a living taking dick in their ass, sucks on tranny cock and cries when someone refuses to work with him telling me about backbone. In response to an agency having magazine covers on the wall, I'm not even going to comment It's too stupid to address.

I'm one of those editors who has been buying/using Laurien as a contributing photographer for years. Just in our publishing group, we've run pictorials he has shot in Genesis, Swank, Velvet, Busty Beauties, Gent, Plumpers, Black Lust, Swank Confidential, Ultra for Men, and a ton others. Their work is always top notch with the models looking great, he knows how to shoot girls for print, and I've never had a problem with any of them.

I believe that models might not be told, or models turn down print. The first is because I have had "discussions" with certain agents who have told me that print is too much trouble for the money. I don't see it, but it was said to me, so I can see Laurien's point.
