In my neverending search to shoot newer talent I have to admit that when I don't go through an agency I will check out sexyjobs.com and hardcoremodeling.com Both sites are pretty easy to use and have had success with both sites. However, there is a growing trend that is starting to get on my nerves. I have had a good number of conversations with potential female talent, and when I mention that the shoots are usually b/g b/b/g or b/g/g they cut in with the "I only will shoot with my boyfriend!" Now if you were one of the bigger names out there, and you wanted to do that, then I would be cool with it. Or if the boyfriend was established talent as well. But when they tell me, "oh he has never done any porn before, but I know he is good in bed" it makes me want my money for the phone call back. I will only hire male talent that has great reference from an agency, I have worked with before, and has a great reputation with female talent. Why would I hire your boyfriend who is not aim tested, never shot anything before, let alone with as many as 10 people on location?!?!?

Sorry for the rant, but newer ladies to the industry, or if you are thinking about getting in, get over the "i will only work with my boyfriend" thing or don't bother getting into the industry at all.

I agree totally. I have hit both sites as well. The whole I work with my bf shit is a time waster. I dont even bother anymore. I just tell them right there it not happening. If they insist, see ya.

I agree that is frustrating. I send out a newsletter monthly to all the talent and I have told talent if they post they are willing to do b/g that means the employer wants to hire you to work with male talent they have. I suggested if they work only with a boyfriend or husband they should state that so employers do NOT waste their time.

We work with trying to make our site better always and we added on a NEW travel page for employers to see when talent is traveling to an area near them. Feel free to msg me if you have any suggestions I am always open to them.

We stopped booking girls who "only do their boyfriends" a while back.

Last one was Samantha Ryan and her bf Kurt Lockwood.

I've shot Kurt before and he was a good performer, but fucking his girlfriend, Samantha, he looked about as bored as a person could look. Horrible fucking scene. No energy, no connection, nothing.

Never again. You're a waste of my time if I can't create the scene the way I envision it. And if I can't chose who I think is the best male talent to pair with the girl, then I can't get the scene that I want. Why bother.

If you can make any sense of what he types you MUST be drunk. So much for those ELA classes.

I understand him, only after I read it a second time. Its like when CAOH is , you kinda have to re-read it. Otherwise you won't get it.

I think elglorioso posts are fun as hell. Trying to figure out what he means in relation to what the thread is about is pretty entertaining.

El Glorioso is harmless. His posts are intresting and kinda funny. Just like Guapo, except I totally understand that homie.

Sorry but I had to comment on this one. We have shot Samantha Ryan and her bf Kurt Lockwood alot recently. Sometimes just the two of them and sometimes with another girl. The scenes are all very hot and very professional either way. I have heard nothing but great things about their performances together from other companies as well.

Then we must have got them on a bad day because Kurt looked like he wished he were somewhere else. I have never seen a man look more disinterested in fucking a beautiful girl.
Maybe they had had a fight the night before or on the way over to the location, I don't know, but it was a crappy scene and it certainly supported the "never hire couples" theory. It actually cemented the belief for me. Scenes performed by real life couples are the most boring in our library.
