Sledge Hammer R.I.P.? - 04/13/12 12:28 PM

Just heard that male performer/Katja Kassin's ex husband Sledge Hammer was excessively tased by police and died. Is this true?

“We believe there was excessive force used and investigators and attorneys will be called to get to the bottom of what happened to Marland Anderson,” Curtis said. "Stoney Curtis will see to it that he does not die in vain."

We? Who the fuck is Stoney Curtis?

Stoney Curtis - mediocre director of smut.

Re: Sledge Hammer R.I.P.? - 04/13/12 05:07 PM

I think Stoney just produces these days. I haven't seen his name in directorial credits since that Hot Bods and Tailpipe bullshit. I think Brandon was in a couple of those. Driving goofy muscle cars with his goofy mug. Sledge Hammer kinda had that likable George Foreman "puddin' time kids" look about him. I always hated him as a performer.

Re: Sledge Hammer R.I.P.? - 04/13/12 05:08 PM

Well, Brandon is an expert on goofy cars.

Re: Sledge Hammer R.I.P.? - 04/13/12 05:21 PM

All joking aside, I first met Sledge on Stoney's set for Hot Bods and Tail Pipes #2 (1997). He was really cool to know. He didn't deserve to wind up the triple x Treyvon.

I actually agree, which is why I tossed out the joke before anyone else could. Some threads simply don't deserve to devolve into an argument about your shortcomings.

Re: Sledge Hammer R.I.P.? - 04/13/12 05:46 PM

I agree. I worked with Sledge several times and he was always very positive and fun to be around. That is pretty rare in mopedom. Sweetheart of a guy, he will be missed.

The "Stoney Curtis" is the classic move of any douchebag director who "auditions" a new whore, but never puts any film in the camera.

Re: Sledge Hammer R.I.P.? - 04/13/12 08:23 PM

Stoney Curtis was the Tony Curtis character on the Flintstones.

I doubt weed made the depression worse, especially if he didn't have depression, but schizophrenia. But anti- depressants will fuck over a schizo quick as shit. I've seen it in action within the last couple of months and it's really nasty. The closest thing I can compare it to is tweaking...but way worse.

Bad deal all around.
Posted by: Jerkules

Re: Sledge Hammer R.I.P.? - 04/13/12 08:33 PM

Depression, anxiety and paranoia all lead me to believe coke was the culprit not weed, and it would magniry any underlying mental problems exponentially. Of the three, only thing weed ever gave me was paranoia, and that was only when I didn't smoke much and went out in public, like the mall.

Come on bro, give us what you remember from the story, and what the police report said.

Oh, and after seeing the guys picture, I'd guess steroids or withdrawals from steroids mighta had something to do with his mental state. Poor bastid.
Posted by: Steezo

Re: Sledge Hammer R.I.P.? - 04/13/12 08:53 PM

I know they threw the book at me, but the only thing that stuck was resisting arrest. Also, they REALLY do not like it when you pull out the taser wires. I don't think I was supposed to be able to do that, but it happened.

Re: Sledge Hammer R.I.P.? - 04/13/12 09:00 PM

It was just a big, huge mess. I can tell you from the audio recording of the event that when they hit you with the close-up taser (the one they press against you that clicks), you will let out horrible squealing sounds that you won't remember later on.

Where's Monica Foster to tell us the dangers and obvious short-sightedness of pairing whores with schizophrenic mopes? The guy must have been on quite a strong anti-depressant to just go balls up like that. I got ten bucks that says the toxicology report will show us how much Mr. Hammer enjoyed doing his Keith Richard's impression. Fuck you guys. I'm going over to ADT to soak in the lulz that are most probably going down.

Excessive weed smoking would be rough on a schizophrenic due to the paranoia it can cause. I have a cuz with it and bipolar as well.

Re: Sledge Hammer R.I.P.? - 04/14/12 10:23 AM

Was this guy coloured? It's so hard to tell anymore.

It's a shitty deal, but the cops don't know any background on the guy when they get involved. The dude looks like a monster and if he's raging, for whatever reason, he had to be brought down.

Whore gf, blow, roids, wrong meds, mope or not, the guy had people who loved him. Rough thing all around.

My girl was reading me the Nashville guy's story. Fucking hilarious stuff. I think the overly long layover policy in the nation's ground travel system is to blame. Occupy Greyhound!

Actually my comprehension is great and I can also read what the cops didn't say. We'll have to wait for the toxicology report before any hard evidence is available.

Firstly its incredibly sad news to hear of the passing of Sledge Hammer. He was probably one of the most accommodating, friendly performers in the business, and shame on the people (like that idiot who posted the taser gif and have2shit) who have used the opportunity of his passing to stick the shovel in the corpse's back.

However, Sledge was a great guy, but he clearly had problems and it does him a disservice to paint him as a completely innocent party in his demise. His friend Maya who has come out and said she was with him "4 to 7 times a week for 4 years" said that he never used steroids or drugs is complete and utter bullshit. Once again, a great guy, but a great guy with serious problems (mental and substance)

@Jerk

Monkey is obviously still grieving. Whether it's a vagina, an anal cavity, or even an interstate rest stop bathroom, when two mopes rub their penis together, and look into each others eyes, a deep bond develops. It's really not for us to understand or even condone the why, but we need to respect the what was. If Monkey or the rest of the mope community or whoever needs to believe that the LAPD actively looks for suicidal black men to murder for lulz, then we should allow them to in peace. Let them light their candles/wear their hoodies for Sledge-on.

What other stats do you have to prove your success? 600 count sheets? A hotplate and a microwave? Van De Kamp pork and beans? 2 ply toilet paper? Livin the dream, mammy.
