My Mandy Morbid Shoot for Fox Magazine - 11/15/09 05:48 PM



I photographed and interviewed Mandy Morbid this weekend for an upcoming layout in Fox Magazine. I had an exact idea of what I wanted, even down to the lighting and mood, and Mandy delivered one thousand percent. I've never seen such a tight body with so many curves. She is breath taking! I'm so blown away by the pictures that I couldn't wait to share one little teaser shot with you guys.

The photography is better than the girl. The decor, the lighting, the mood were all perfect. When Mandy Morbid passes, she should bury herself with that photoset. She'll never look as good again.

I like the lighting. I love the whites and pinks in the tub since it reflects Mandy's skin tones.

Mandy, who usually looks super tough, pseudo-masculine and thus unattractive [to me], looks vulnerable and quite interesting.

I don't like her eyes as much as you guys, but, still, I can't look away from them.



I liked this picture the first time I saw it and the more I look at this picture, the more I like it.



I'd be interested in seeing the finished product.

I don't classify alterations differently. All should be avoided (including the bolt-ons) if possible. Take a look at the picture. Mandy has a beautiful face - and look at the eye color, she is thin with gorgeous tits, not to mention her skin tone.

Your pic of you got posted at the relapse board and Brett "The DOAD" Said you used to be in a grind band, maybe he confused you with with someone else. Watch me burn are descent. I'm actually a lot more fond of the other band the guitar player from WATCH ME BURN sings in, Fetus Eaters.
As far as female extreme singers go Mel M. from Fuck The Facts is probably my favorite. Katherine Katz from Shalome and the last couple of Agoraphobic Nosebleeds releases is ripping it up pretty fierce (She did some vox that Pig Destroyer song "Lost Cause" too) The chick from Harry Pussy was pretty manic.

I don't classify alterations differently. All should be avoided (including the bolt-ons) if possible. Take a look at the picture. Mandy has a beautiful face - and look at the eye color, she is thin with gorgeous tits, not to mention her skin tone.



It's nice to know you can at least recognize my natural assets despite our radically different tastes in style.

Can't please everyone.

I usually appeal mostly to the kinds of people I'd actually want to find me attractive. I think it works that way with most people, regardless of profession and hasn't really got much to do with personal insecurity. People love-love-love to use the word "insecure", like a crutch 'cause they don't want to think too hard about what else might be going on, it's so cliche. I'm not often that anxious about the way I look. It'd be hard to grow up with my body and my tits and not be aware that a lot of people think I'm pretty attractive.

Someone once asked me why all the eastern-european women in the garment district wore the "trashy" kind of clothes they did that seem better suited to teens. I would say obviously the men they want like that style.

Great photo, and nice technique, Gia. I really like the high-key lighting, and you kept good detail in the highlights as well. Will this set be posted online somewhere? I haven't looked at Fox in years, but I hope they nailed the repro on your work. (I worked in publishing for many years, and I've had my heart broken by color separators too many times!)
