The term meltdown is thrown around these boards much like the term hero is in the real world over run of the mill feats, ala lebron james scores 56 points in a game, or a fireman saves a person from a burning house that isn't at a dangerous stage yet, or harvey milk stands up for gay rights and puts himself out there as a gay political figure.
But every now and again there is an act of real bravery that reminds us all of what a real hero is, well the same can be said for a real meltdown, and christian is on the path to having a jesus dying on a cross for our sins type hero meltdown. It has all the pieces. Its early days but its already put the bree/eric one to shame. but yes, the money helped get me into a better financial place, which i have never looked back. from paying off debt, student loans, and getting my credit back to the good kind.....falcon helped me with all that. working as a teacher and then in a nightclub did nothing but tread water and slowly sink into a financial debt abyss.

six years later, life couldn't be better. I have a huge nest egg saved up. I have no credit cards. I just bought a new car (honda crv), i pay all my bills online, I am almost finished paying off my student loans, and as more and more male performers are hurt by the economics of today's business, I am making more money than i ever have in my life. i have absolutely nothing to complain about.

If you have alot of them, sure it is. I'm not talking about the average "utility, rent, phone" bills, but the more luxurious stuff that wasn't quite budgeted properly. I don't necessarily care to divulge my personal info, but I have over $65k in debt that I juggle every month. It's not pretty, and I'm paying finance charges out the fucking nose, but I'm happy. I work to provide for my future. I don't need a new vehicle every 3 years (I have 2 now), and I have somewhere new to go on vacation (timeshare) for the next 30 of my working years (and than some). Even some of my camera upgrades were financed 18+ months ago. Some where useless investments, others were worthwhile. Nonetheless, I'm still paying for them, and doing my best to ensure they aren't taken away from me as a result of repossession. That's ALOT to be proud of, it's better than buying a vehicle that I can't afford & having it repo'd, which would destroy my rather excellent credit.

I'm not in NYC, I am in NJ. I was in Brooklyn a week after the storm. Didn't see or hear anything too bad.

At the Jersey shore, I heard of a guy that was using a canoe to go from house to house in a neighborhood of flooded multi million dollar homes and looting what he could get (jewelry, tvs, etc). Some people were planning to confront the guy, until they noticed a shotgun in his canoe.

After about the 3rd night, I heard stories out of Belmar, NJ of lots of people having their generators stolen. Chain became a premium product.

There were probably more incidents at NYC gas stations than of actual raping and pillaging.

my internet and cable was suspended for abit due to an asshole neighbor changing our long distance provider.but yeah black ops 2 came to my door the day of delivery.i finished the campaign the next night.i wouldnt have beaten it so quick unless i had forgotten you can set up multiplayer with bots.which i remembered the next day.anyway im back.
