well, as was to be expected another girl has tested positive. it seems the assholes who bitched about them releasing names have got their way as ANV is reporting that AIM is not allowed to say who.
i know we have a pretty good group of insiders here.. anyone up to the task of finding out.... this needs to be know, as we now have a whole new first and second gen.

Yeah just got confirmation on a third case. sharon mitchell was on cnn saying that today confirmation came in and that this girl was in the first generation list and after her encounter with darren james was with 5 individuals and those 5 were now comming in for further evaluation.
Man, this things really getting out of hand.
How often do these things happen? The last outbreak
was in the 90's wasn't it?

This is rather pathetic... to keep information from the industry who has a right to know. But anyways... this is what I find interesting...and sad...
Lara Roxx.. fucked Darren on 3-24... so did JESSICA DEE which I believe is the one that just tested positive, not only her but Annie Cruz and Mark Anthony worked the same day on 3-24 with Darren James. Hopefully their bodies are fighters and dont have the HIV.
Then Dynasty is just a day later. Keeping in mind the 24th is exactly two weeks after they suspect Darren getting HIV, not good at all. not good. I have a feeling the situation is only going to turn out to be worse.

That's what I figured... so I have a feeling everyone on the first generation list after 3-24 is gonna test positive cuz the next dates after go to the 25th, 30th and then into April. Ugh, what a shame.
Jessica Dee after working with Darren worked with four other guys starting on the date of 4-7 which means it had been a good two weeks since she worked Darren for the virus to harvest.. i have a feeling those guys on the 2nd generation may have HIV too. Let's hope not.

Man, I really hope this doesn't turn out to be as bad as it could. It's already horrible.
I thought, per AVN, that they were withholding her name because they already had a list of everyone she had worked with, so they didn't need to announce it.
The AVN article says in that situation that AIM is legally required to keep the name confidential.
Who knows? There are always conflicting reports.
Did AIM in fact release it, or did it leak?

And as for worrying about other people getting it...the people that fucked her are on the second gen list already.

Lots of people get "promoted" from third generation list to second generation, etc. Also, the quarantine clock just got reset for a lot of people.
A bigger question to me if some companies desperate to restart production quickly (Vivid?) have to hold off a bit longer.

The last active performer to test positive I can think of was Tony Montana (1999?). There don't appear to have been any secondary infections. No telling where he got it but assumptions is that it came from outside porn since no other positives could be found.
Before that was the Marc Wallice outbreak in 1998. Tests were mandatory then as now but Marc was faking his tests. Rumors suggest he may have been HIV+ for many months or even a year. There were 6-8 positives at that time, all women, but no confirmation tying them all to Marc (Delfin and Jordan McKnight tested positive the year before and may not have been related).
John Stagliano tested positive in 1997. No secondary infections and John says he got it from a private encounter with a Brazilian tranny.
My memory gets fuzzy before that but Barbara Doll turned out HIV+. So many contradictory rumors here I’ll repeat no more, but there appear to have been no other related infections in porn. I think she may have retired a few months before? No clue where this came from.
At around the same time – 1995? – Roxanne Hall had a false positive test. This leaked out before all of the confirmatory testing showed she was in fact HIV-. In that era test specivity (rate of false positive rejection) was not nearly as good as it is now so this is believable – you’d expect a couple of false positives per hundred tests at that time.
Anal, especially anal creampies, are a lot more common now than before and that increases the risk (maybe substantially; I can’t find current risk estimates). This means that a modern outbreak is likely to spread further before being contained if early-testing technology doesn’t improve.
That’s a remarkably good track record in my opinion. Unfortunately success breeds complacency and in any case the risk can never be reduced to zero.

what throwing me off is that some names are not on the"list" but i saw their names come up on other porn gossip sites as not being on the list.
hell the list that everybody keeps refering to don;t show 65 names it got some actors names twice.
so don't nobody really know who got it and how many actors might have been exposed.think about the actors we haven't heard from yet, the ones that get tons of work everyday. hell it was a girl who had look like she had cancer and red pimples all over her knees and barely knew how to speak english and guess what directors was booking her left and right.
