What I mean is that after everything I've been through, and after what I've seen people close to me go through, it would be irresponsible for me to have anything but compassion for her. As much as I'd like to point and laugh at her for being in the state she's in right now, I choose to take the "those who live in glass houses should not throw stones" route. Though I was never a hardcore drug addict, I was/am an addict. The substance I abused was just different (and legal, not that it makes it any more acceptable). For those of you who can't relate to her problem, you are so fortunate! And I am by no means trying to ride in on some kind of sober high horse, as everyone is entitled to their opinion, and my past certainly does not warrant me to have any right to moral superiority here.

I had a high bottom, which means I never sunk to the depths that Chasey has. I wish I could shake my head and simply say "I don't get it-- why throw away such beauty and popularity for drugs?" But I do get it. That's why I have compassion.

But Lance is right, there is help, and it is everywhere. In those terms, I don't understand why she doesn't seek help, because I did-- it did take me several tries before sobriety stuck, but I wasn't about to give up, because I really didn't want to throw my life away. Unfortunately, recovery is for those who want it, not just for those who need it.

Anyhow DL is an ass for posting this video, but I hardly think that surprises anyone here.

That was fucking entertaining! I have little to no sympathy for retards on drugs... My life got fucked over a couple of times because of people around me using the shit, yet everyone always says, "oh I feel so bad for him/her," fuck that shit. Everyone knows what happens when you start doing drugs in the first goddamn place. It's not a government secret... seriously.

Plus help is everywhere if you do fuck up and get hooked, but only if you really want it. Till then the sympathy meter is reading 0.

2) People do drugs for one all encompassing reason (every other reason is secondary to this): Drugs Make you feel GOOD, mmmkay? From Booze, to Pot, to Meth, to Coke, to Smack, to Pills, etc. But it is the law of diminishing returns at work again...the more you do and the longer you go trying to maintain that good feeling, the less it actually works and the more your body's chemistry morphs into something different that NEEDS the drug to simply function.

Life is not fair, and all people are not created equal. Some people are able to live long producitve lives while functioning as users or even addicts. They are able to enjoy the pleasure of whatever chemical they like without wrecking their lives or others. It may be a case of stronger character, higher intellignce, greater constituion or all of the above. Simply put, some people can "Have their cakefarts, and smell them too..." I think the character aspect is the clincher....if a person is basically a GOOD person inside, not totally selfish and with some work ethic, they are more likely to be able to have the VICE of chemicals and not have it be a total trainwreck. It is by no means absolute, but it is a big factor.

BUT...when the person who decides to enjoy chemicals in their life happens to be a selfish, damaged, lazy or otherwise corrupt person like Chasey apparently is, the drugs simply accelerate the negative aspects of her personality and result in a terrible spectacle. Chasey is 37 and has been doing this for a long time...I remember reading before that she has OD'd a number of times. She simply LOVES the feeling the drugs provide her, even if those feelings now only last a short time and result in her being a detriment to others the rest of the time.

it is the classic story: A long time ago when she was young, Chasey discovered several things...1) Drugs make you feel great .. 2) Porn is a easy way to make money ...3) Drugs make it easy to make PORN .. 4) Making a lot of porn allows you to make a lot of money which allows you to buy a lot of drugs ...5) During those times when she is OFF for the day and doesnt have to shoot porn, she can go to upscale places while totally high, and that false sense of "Having it all" while she shops on Rodeo Drive or in the Nord makes her crave that life even more. When she goes to a club totally high and feeling GREAT, she dances the night away thinking she is set for life, doing porn, doing drugs and living how she wants to live....but by age 37 where she is now, all she is doing is "CHASING" those early heady days when life was fucking great, but because she is essentially a selfish person, thats all she cares about and fuck everything or everyone else.

Chasey stopped maturing when she did her first drug at age 21....(? I am guessing?) she is a 21 year old girl in a 37 year old hags body.

But truthfully, Holly's way is ultimately the best way to go...it is no skin off anyone's back to cut people some slack especially if you are not vested in the person in any direct way. What harm is it? I have enough sympathy to go around for everyone, but I will only give my Money/resources to those who truly need it, like NICE whores with kind dispositions

At the end of the 2nd vid he says he can see her lighting up a crack pipe in the car. That would fit with the tweaking, aggressive behavior, bad teeth, sunken face,etc...So my guess is she prob takes a lot of stuff,but crack is her fav.

Chasey is a pitiable creature. Holly is basically right, but I would add to Holly's analysis, that IMO Chasey Lain has some serious psychological issues co-occurring with her addictions. This ought to be a cautionary tale to all of us as to the devastating consequences of using narcotics.

Back to Chasey... I am finally getting my slacking self caught up on this. I have her in my 2008 celebrity Death Pool, so I am flabbergasted to see how good she looks. Seriously, I need some points. Seeing her in any condition other than dead isn't how I want to see her.

i agree with 3sb-- i figured that type of behavior had to be pretty common. i mean, shit, that was me every time i had to get to the grocery store or whatever. like, five hours later you may or may not have actually succeeding in procuring food, but probably not, and definitely not without much: freaking out, panicking, going back ten times more to hit it before you left so you didn't fall asleep on the way there (or in the produce section, which i did once), checking the computer, picking your face, going into the bathroom twenty times to check if the face was still bleeding, washing the bathroom floor every time you went in there, then putting on more makeup to cover up the scabs, oh i could go on forever. watching that video reminded me of that constant bouncy movement that you could.not.stop. i think i'm going to kill myself now.
