It should also be taken into account that Holly, being the daughter of arguably the most successful glamour photographer of our time, will benefit from an accelerated learning curve, and that Mom will have inevitably have shared a lot more trade secrets with her than she would have with, say, an unrelated studio assistant. Also, all of the required industry infrastructure would already be in place for her...agents, MUAs, Set designers, etc.

The truer comparison would therefore be Suze's work against Holly's at a comparable age or point in their respective careers of comparable experience.

Such a comparison can only truly be achieved by the posting of copious amounts of Randallesque photographic imagery to this thread, purely for artistic edification and evaluative purposes, of course...

So, without further ado, let us bombard this thread with more Randall than it can handle...I'll start:

Im a bit confused. I was asking what it said on the dumpster in the photo you took. Not what you deleted in your comment. Are we together on this one? Im not sure what you're talking about and Im not sure if you know what Im talking about!

The day I got into the industry I learned of three photographers. Suze, Holly and Earl. Being the weird internet stalker I am I looked them all up. I fell in love with the Randalls work. The girl that told me about the randalls said " Its hard to geta shoot with them. They either like your look or dont. They never shot me."

Earl never shot me, even after a Go see to meet him. I was butt hurt. lol. He shot my sister... and then the randalls shot my sister.

After I saw a speard Holly did my sister


I was determined to do a shoot with them.
When I did, I was so nervous, I actually was in the bathroom throwing up throughout the day. The second time I shot with Holly, I only puked once. lol. I dont know where the story was going other than, I LOVE Holly and Suze. They are amazing photographers. amazing. This is not a suckup move, but, even Earl Miller cant touch these two. The end.

I would honestly say its about even. Suze may have a slight advantage in technique area but Holly does such a fantastic job styling her sets that I think it all evens out. Plus, Holly is totally fucking hot!

P.S.
Earl Miller has completely ruined his site with all the excessive photoshopping / editing. All of his sets look like the film was washed in fabric softener and glitter.

Nothing wrong with it, they're both amazing photographers but Holly will always be in her mums shadow. Like a photo assistant to a great photographer going out on their own, everyones going to compare the work.

But for now Holly is entwined with her Mom in a very small pond. Add that to the bitchy carping that is endemic to porn biz people, and it's sadly unavoidable.

Let's say the agency and the site continue to go well [knock fiber], maybe Holly grows into running the whole show. Regardless her influence will be felt. Don't know - and likely will never meet - Holly but I get a sense of her poise and strength of character. She seems to hold to her guns.

Should Holly distance herself the porn business, her mom, photography just to avoid Suze's "shadow" when she might be best off professionally/business-wise in enhancing a successful brand she is already identified with?
