The other night I was looking on Google for a Wahoo McDaniel pic, when I saw his football card. He's in a Jets uniform, but the card says Dolphins because they took him in the AFL expansion draft.

I then had the idea of getting a throwback jersey with his name on it. I checked around, found his uniform # (54) and reading his Wiki, it said he didn't have his last name on his jersey, just WAHOO. I'm psyched and will purchase one before opening day. NFL.com won't do custom throwbacks, but I find a knock off site that will bang one out for $88.

I'm surprised no one has wrestler jerseys ready made. I could see people buying a Goldberg Falcons jersey or Pillman Bengals. Even do wrasslin names on them, like a VADER Rams jersey or ROCK Miami Hurricanes. A DAMN! Florida State Seminoles, for Ron Simmons would be cool also. West Texas State could make bank selling throwback wrestler jerseys.

We've got several little promotions here. Portland has Gangrel, the Grappler, Matt Stryker, some Piper appearances. They're not really all that regional, more city based and don't stray too far from their bases. It's good stuff.

I heard the Grappler and Gangrel on Piper's podcast talk about the promotion up there.

Smackdown is moving to USA Network.

I broke down and got the Network again. I can't seem to find any way to watch RAW replays. There's a grouping of them but the most recent one is in mid- March.

Yeah, some of the overseas stations running RAW made em put a long delay on it.

Shelley Martinez was the vampire chick in the E's version of ECW. Fantastic look covered for her in ring dis- ability.

I wasn't watching much at that time. I went to the first WWECW show in Trenton, and watched the first week or 2, but when i realized that it wouldn't be the blood and guts i craved, i tapped out.

Yeah, VKM destroyed the ECW legacy quite nicely with that abortion.

Benoit offing himself and his family kinda hurt their plans. I believe they wanted him as the anchor for the show, getting guys over and ready for the main shows, w/ "extreme" hijinks going on in the other storylines. One of the theories for the killing being that he felt it was a demotion, so he got depressed.

I think the E's braintrust's plan along along was to destroy the ECW legacy which would help destroy both the "extreme" movement in wrestling and the indie outfits that were starting to crop up.

Benoit was a trainwreck. The concussions, the roids, Eddie dying, the ref whose name escapes me dying, the myriad of daily shit piling up that we'll never know about.

Apparently the Briscoes turned down the E to stay with ROH. The ROH community is nicely up in arms over the whole thing.

Benoit was fucking around with Michelle McCool. Maybe Nancy finally let him have it about it that fateful June day.

Shortly after I heard that, I heard that WWE passed on them because of the anti gay rant Jay went on a while ago.

Fact is, WWE makes everyone go through developmental, which pays $30k/yr, for basically being on call 24/7/365. Briscoes got wives, kids and a chicken farm, they aint dropping all that to move to Florida for $30k each. The gotta make much more than that between ROH, indies and overseas.

And just cause they are wanted by HHH in NXT, don't mean Vince wants to see them on the main roster.

Got 3rd row ringside ticket to NXT show at Tower Theater in Philly. $95, so on par w/ other indy events I've been to.

They were originally going to run 2300 (ECW) Arena, but I think WWE switched it up because 2300 Arena wouldn't go exclusive. WWE only runs venues where they are the only wrestling shows there. 2300 has been running House of Hardcore, and there is a 2 night ROH/New Japan event that same week there. I'd have gone to that show, but all the good seats were gone when I checked.

Big week of wrasslin in Philly. Tues/Wed/Thurs of all quality shows.

Anyone still keeping up w/ podcasts? Piper has a jabroni with him, trying to keep things on track, same as Flair does. It helps.

Flair's podcasts have been pretty good. Okerlund was great, just listening to Gene talk about booze and pussy in that voice sold me. Flair says he's gonna try to get Gene on again when he has some drinks in him. Flair w/ Bret Hart and Terry Funk were good also.

Stone Cold w/ Del "The Patriot" Wilkes was pretty good, talking about the mass quantities of pills he was taking and a really good Wahoo story. His 2 part interview w/ Shane Douglas was decent.

As I said, Piper has gotten better, though the jabroni is a shit comedian. Greg Valentine was good, Jake Roberts 2 part interview was one of the best I've heard.

Jim Ross and Taz have been kinda meh lately, though Taz interviewing D-von Dudley and the 2 of em shitting on TNA was good. I'd rather listen to Gia do Jew chants for an hour than listen to Jericho, so I got no clue if his podcast was any good.

As for shoot interviews, I have downloaded the old RF shoots from Arn Anderson and Stan Hansen. Arn wasn't good, to kayfabe, no scissors talk, and Stan was pretty good. Brody stories and Japan stuff.
