I was in Vancouver last August, too, for "work." Saw UFC fighter Rampage Jackson on Robson Street. Shook his hand....cool. Found out later he was in town shooting the A Team movie.

Seriously, though, East Hastings Street is no joke. True crackheads and hard drug users prowling around. Some look like they are weeks or days away from death. It really puts your own problems in perspective.

I was there 3 days, had a great time, ate good food, met with friends, and blew 3 loads (2 direct-to-mouth and 1 facial that was scooped up and eaten.)

(I fucked up the currency conversion in the original post. It would cost more US money, not less. The Canadian dollar is on a roll against the greenback lately. Wow....
