I never thought of it that way till you said it Roger, very good. There's nothing original on the big screen is there?. Death sex drugs and violence on cable is leading the way it seems. Segway into the Nhl playoffs btw for the three of us that aren't gay. Go Leafs... Good call.
The problem I have is when the writer puts the word "Fuck" in the script, the actors say the word, the director films the word being said... and then it is bleeped. Why? Either say the word or don't, but don't say it and then don't say it.
Same thing with the shot of the topless woman leaning out of the window and having her tits pixilated. Just don't film it at all.
I agree. I mean, when it's a movie to tv, I understand it, because it's what was filmed was filmed. They don't shoot a hardcore then shoot a cable version. But when it's made for tv, it's not attractive (wrong word, but it's 4:45am and I'm coming off a major panic attack). I figure it's either a way of thumbing their noses to Standards and Practices, either for their own artistic integrity or to seem to be rebellious. Or a way of making it seem like they're standing up to S&P and the network. Who knows? It's just wrong tho.
