I've been away from the board and I just read your reply now. It was a tough week for me, so I didn't mean to imply that you were a bad parent, or give the impression that you may have done anything untoward.

I just think Paris Hilton has ruined the word "hot" by repeating it Ad nauseam as in "That's hot". Or when Ryan Seacrest uses it on American Idol to translate what Simon Cowell said to Kelley Pickler. Cowell had said that Pickler was a saucy little minx, and Ryan stepped in and said to Pickler that Cowell said that she was "hot". No Seacrest, that's not what he said!

Anyways, when I use the word "hot", which I hardly ever do, it means that I just popped a boner, and need to whip it out and stroke (excuse my French, M'dear). So when you said that in regards to your daughter it just flicked my ear.
