It had better be, the pilot episode cost $12 million US$ to make (and got the brainchild behind it canned) !

Season 1 had some great writing. Season 4, on the other hand, has left a bit to be desired. I think that may just be a byproduct of setting the bar too high.

Looks like they spent $10 million US$ on the pilot episode of Fringe.
