I have been playing Star Tropics. Not an easy game on the keyboard and my controller crapped out (permanently "detects" down on the d-pad).

There are some NES games that involve finesse in controls that simply can't be achieved with a keyboard. Bubble Bobble's "bubbing up" is mercilessly difficult to do with a keyboard.
