Whenever some crusader for social justice talks about the deleterious effects of working in the adult industry, the focus is invariably on female performers. Every so-called objective, scientific study of porn always begins with the sexist presumption that no clear-thinking woman would choose to work in porn... and must therefore be the victim of some physical or emotional abuse. And likewise no one ever questions the motives of male performers who choose to work in porn, or whether or not they suffered any similar abuse. So without exception, female performers end up being cast in the role of exploited victims, and male performers, producers, and consumers as the victimizers. Seriously... doesn't anyone have the fucking brains to see the whole industry in the context of the market it serves?! An adult woman has the same goddamn intellectual capacity as an adult man [ heresy, I know ]. No one puts a gun to anyone's head and forces them to do porn [ not since Chuck Traynor anyway ]. These girls are beating down doors to get in the industry. Do the financial incentives of adult work "exploit" the financial need of undereducated women with few other options? Yes. But so does your fucking local Walmart! But these girls are smart enough to know that, at least doing an interracial gangbang pays more, and allows you to retain a little more dignity. Women working in porn are no more victimized or damaged than the men, and it's about time we ditched this patriarchal bullshit attitude that treats women like children incapable of being in control of their own lives. The adult industry is like every other industry operating in a free market. And if responding to the forces of supply and demand is considered exploitative, then we're all being exploited. Who gives a shit as long as everyone gets what they want. If ya don't like... move to Russia ya commie fuck!
