From what I understand it was the photos on his blog that are now the evidence against him. John made the fatal mistake of getting too comfortable over there and shooting too often in the same location for over a year. Very easy to find him if one were so inclined.

Say what you will about the guy, but a Thai prison is no place to be. Not even for your worst enemy. For his sake I hope he is only fined and deported.
