I know what you mean. I recall turning it on one night and seeing a poppered twink dancing like a zombie while holding a gardenia. Seriously.

There was a group interview segment at show's end that was often entertaining. There were lots of misses on that show, but the hits were priceless.

BTW, Byrd was in Debbie Does Dallas.
